Translation

They bend their neck with arrogance (and argues that way) to mislead (people) from Allah’s path. In the worldly life, there is despicableness and on the Day of Judgment, We will let them taste burning punishment.

Tafsir

These people who turn their backs on Allah (swt) and deny Allah (swt) argue that they are right and that the laws are better according to their own reason. They put themselves above Allah and become arrogant. In order to get their way, they try to prove that they are in the right by innocently bending their necks, while appearing humble to the people in front of them.

These people present themselves innocently to people and try to instill in people that their ideas are right, in order to mislead people from the path of Allah.

For such people there is humiliation in this world. Allah (swt) has given the will of people to them as their destiny. Since people cannot escape from their destiny, and Allah (swt) is the Truth itself, He knows what these people will say and do since He created these worlds with a program. If He says that such people live in misery in the world, then such people are indeed living in misery while living in the world. Because those who depart from the word of Allah, those who live according to their own minds by moving away from the verses, those who turn their backs on the Holy Qur'an, have turned their backs on their own honor. Whoever does not think about his own honor is in a state of humiliation. Allah (swt) also says in His verse (We sent you your honor and you turn away from it).

On the Day of Resurrection there will be a burning torment for these people. Whoever does not follow what Allah says and does not believe in Allah and the Hereafter has wronged his own soul. Those who live for their own selves in this world for the sake of temporary worldly benefits or pleasure, forsaking the eternal abode of bliss in the Hereafter, those who turn their backs on Allah, those who wrong their own selves on the Day of Judgment, on the Day of Reckoning, will find the punishment they deserve. They will be subjected to a burning fire. May Allah (swt) give us all a wakefulness. May Allah add us to the people who stand by the side of Allah without exchanging the life of this world for the Hereafter, without compromising the Verses of Allah.

What is said in the video

Surah Al-Hajj, verse 9. Haughtily twisting his neck, to lead people astray from Allah's path, he engages in such dispute. For him there is disgrace in this world. For that person there is disgrace in this world. And on the Day of Resurrection We will make him taste a burning punishment, it says.

These people who turn their backs on Allah Almighty and deny Allah – that they are right and that laws would be better in line with their own minds, they maintain. Holding themselves above Allah, they are full of arrogance. To get what they say done, appearing humble before the people facing them, innocently bowing their necks, to prove they are right they try. These people, to lead people astray from Allah's path, present themselves to people like this as innocent, and, instilling in people that their own ideas are right, try to hold people back from Allah's path.

For such people there is disgrace in this world. Allah Almighty has given people their wishes as their destiny. Since people cannot escape their destiny, and since Allah Almighty is the Truth itself, since Allah created these realms with a program, He knows what these people will say and what they will do. If He says there is disgrace in this world for such people, then such people, while living their worldly lives, truly are living in disgrace.

If a human is the most honorable in the universe, if he is created the most honorable,

the word he gives, the words that come out of his mouth

reveal what kind of person he is.

Mevlana says so as well. Say a word to me, and I'll tell you what you are, he says.

Today the non-Muslim constantly produces lies. They don't even believe one another anyway.

And they accuse one another, saying you are lying. Because, in pride and arrogance, to prove to the other side that they are somebody, they show themselves as more than they are and tell lies. Then, so as not to be ashamed, they string their lies one after another. And when their lies come out, as if they had performed a fine feat, without their faces blushing at all, laughing, as if they had done something and been rewarded for it, they feel honored. By themselves. I told a good lie, I mean. He feels honored. Today heads of state, foreign heads of state, are like this too. The officials who run states are like this too.

I'm saying foreign states, though. And those who envy them are on the same path. In Turkey too, some of those running the state were into the same lies. But this is Allah, after all. Since Allah will make the realms He programmed manifest until the Resurrection, since He will keep His religion going until the Resurrection, to the dishonorable who want to abolish this religion, to the clowns, to the disbelievers, He gives no opportunity. Just like today, at our head, like Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, a head of state comes, sent by Allah and under His protection. In this state, Turkey challenges the world.

On what basis does he do this? He does it according to the verses. They fight from behind fortified strongholds; do not fear them, it says, fear Me. However many cannons and rifles they have, however many missiles and weapons, to enter a place they will certainly have to send their soldiers there.

this nation, with this faith, according to that verse, as it showed in the War of Independence, just as they could not enter many cities, as it showed on 15 July, and just as with their cannons, rifles and weapons they could not make it surrender, this state and, living in this state, raising the flag of Islam until the Resurrection, and being the last army of Islam, this army they will not be able to finish off.

This will continue. This is Allah's law. Yes. Because those who depart from Allah's word, who, even if (?) from the verses, according to their own minds live, who turn their backs on the Holy Quran, have turned their backs on their own honor. Whoever does not think of his own honor is in disgrace. Again, in His verse, Allah Almighty: We have sent you your honor. You turn your backs on your honor, He declares. How beautifully Allah Almighty puts it. Yes. On the Day of Resurrection there is a burning punishment for these people. Whoever does not keep to what Allah says and does not believe in Allah and the hereafter has wronged his own soul.

For temporary worldly gain and pleasure, abandoning the eternal abode of bliss in the hereafter, those who live in the world by their nafs, who turn their backs on Allah, those people, those who wrong their own selves, will, on the Day of Resurrection, on that Day of Reckoning, find the punishment they deserve. They will be exposed to a burning fire. May Allah Almighty grant us all an awakening. Without trading the hereafter for the life of this world, without compromising on Allah's verses, may He count us among the people who take their stand on Allah's side. Amen.
