Translation

They did not truly comprehend Allah’s might (because of associating partners with Allah). Undoubtedly, Allah is Qawiyy (The Mightiest) and Azeez (Exalted).

Tafsir

Those who disbelieved in Allah and the Hereafter, those who worshipped other than Allah, did not appreciate Allah. They could not understand Allah's blessings and mercy on human beings. Allah (swt) values human beings so much that He created them close to Himself and gave them His spirit. He has made man the equal of creation. In this respect, Allah (swt) has not given the value He has given to man to any other creature among the created beings. Because Allah first created the light of the Prophet (pbuh) so that His Essence could be known, and from that light He created the universe. In this respect, our Prophet (s.a.w.) was vema erselnake illa rahmeten lil alemin.

In this case, even though Allah (swt) values human beings so much and holds them accountable to Him, people have taken partners to Allah. They ate and drank the blessings of Allah and did not give thanks to Allah. They sacrificed offerings to them, thinking that they were taking the sustenance that Allah had given to them from those whom they had associated partners with Allah. However, if only these people had known the greatness and glory of Allah, they would not have compared Allah with any creature. According to the understanding of some idolaters, when they invoke the idols made with their hands, they are not invoking that idol, but they are comparing Allah to it and asking for the spirit within it. Even this is a weakness for a God. Doesn't it make Allah incapable if He takes shape and enters into the matter He created and asks people to beg Him in certain places? In places where there are no idols, how will these idols be aware of the people or the creation and how will they provide for them? What kind of God is that?

So, O man! Do not be stubborn. Do not continue to rebel against Allah in the face of so many truths. Because Allah is all powerful. No creature can call Allah to account or overpower Him. So do not be deceived by this life in this world, in this short life, and turn your back on Allah. Allah is very powerful. He is very great. He is very merciful. His forgiveness is abundant. He is the Glorious. Be with Him and you will find life.

What is said in the video

We have come to verse 74. Surah Al-Hajj, verse 74. By associating these weak idols as partners, they could not know Allah's worth properly. Why does it use the word 'properly'? So people know that there is one who created them. They cannot deny this. Therefore, as Creator — since they know Him as one who created them, the Lord who created them, (?) they could not know. They, because they saw Allah, His essence, like themselves, did not believe in Allah; they waited for the Lord of their imagination. That is why they could not know Allah's worth properly. Without doubt, Allah is All-Strong, All-Mighty, it says.

Those who deny Allah and the hereafter, who worship others besides Allah, could not know Allah's worth; they could not understand Allah's blessing and mercy upon people. Because Allah Almighty values man greatly, He created man close to His essence and gave him of His spirit.

Man has been created as the noblest of creatures. In this respect, the value Allah Almighty has given man among created beings He has given to no other created being. Because Allah, so that His essence would be known, first, of the Prophet (peace be upon him), created the light, and from that light He created the universe. In this respect, the Prophet (peace be upon him) has become ve mâ erselnâke illâ rahmeten li'l-âlemîn. So, although Allah Almighty valued man so much and made people addressees of His essence, people associated partners with Allah. They ate and drank Allah's blessings with relish and did not thank Allah.

Thinking that they had received from those they associated with Allah the provisions Allah gave people as sustenance, they slaughtered offerings to them. Yes, thinking that they had received the provisions Allah gave people from the partners they associated with Allah, that is, thinking they received them from idols, those idolaters slaughtered offerings to them. Yet if these people knew Allah's sublimity and greatness, they would not compare Allah with any created being and could not measure Him against one. According to the understanding of some idolaters, in praying to idols made with their hands they are not praying to that idol; they declare that they liken Allah to this idol and ask from the spirit within it.

In these places, even this is a weakness for a god. Allah taking shape, entering the matter He created, and in certain places wanting people to pray to Him — would that not reduce Allah to weakness? In places where there are no idols, how will these idols be aware of people or created beings, and how will they provide for them? Could such a thing ever be Allah? So, O man, do not be stubborn; in the face of so many truths, do not dig in your heels and continue rebelling against Allah. For Allah is very powerful. No created being can call Allah to account or overpower Him. So, within a short lifespan in the life of this world, do not be deceived by this life and turn your back on Allah. Allah is very powerful, very great; He is very merciful, His forgiveness is abundant, He is Self-Sufficient. Be with Him so that (?).
