Translation

Say, “No one in the heavens and on earth other than Allah, knows the unseen (ghayb). And they also don’t know when they will be resurrected.

Tafsir

Allah created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them in six days. The knowledge of all this creation and all that is created is with Allah. So what has been created in the heavens and the earth and what are they? Only Allah knows that.

Apart from that, the knowledge of when the creatures will be resurrected after death is with Allah. Humans cannot know this either. Allah has kept some events as secrets reserved for Him. Since these secrets are for the good of the people, Allah (swt) has not revealed them to the people.

For example, if a person knows when he is going to die, he becomes depressed. His mind is obsessed with the time of his death and his life becomes a prison for him. However, even though he knows he is going to die, since he does not know when he is going to die, and since life seems so long, he goes on living as if he will never die and enjoys his life. Hiding death has been a mercy to mankind.

Just as people do not know when they will die, they do not know when they will be resurrected. How long they will remain under the earth after death, and when they will be resurrected when the Sur will be blown. And this is with Allah.

What is said in the video

Surah An-Naml, verse 65. Say: in the heavens and on the earth no one knows the unseen except Allah, and they do not know when they will be resurrected either.

Allah Almighty confirms His verses with one another anyway. All the verses support one another. The keys of the unseen are in Allah's hand, it says. There are very deep meanings here in this verse. The keys of the unseen are in Allah's hand. What is the unseen? It is something unknown. It became hidden. That is, you lost something — you had something, but you lost it. What was that thing? I don't know. I can't remember. That thing is creating. It belongs to Allah alone. The key of the unseen. It is in what is lost. You know creating, but you don't know how it happens. What kind of thing is it? I don't know.

That is in Allah's hand.

I don't know what will happen in the future. Why? Because that too is in Allah's hand. According to what? Because He has programmed the worlds. He knows what will happen when. Allah knows. We cannot know the unseen. Only to His saintly servants does He show some things of the unseen. And that becomes a karamah of that servant. Yes. The real secret here is that the keys of the unseen are in Allah's hand. Whatever Allah Almighty wills, He creates what He wills. He says "Be". It is. He creates. The secret of creating this belongs to Allah alone. The unseen belongs to Me alone. It is with Me, He says.

The keys of the unseen are in Allah's hand. He doesn't say one key. Whatever your will is, I create. I bring it into being. And you cannot know this. Nor can you know what I created and why. Besides, all these worlds I created, I created one after another. You cannot know why I created them either.

For example, in Africa many antelopes, let me tell you, buffaloes, gazelles and whatnot He created, to clear the grass there. Then He created cheetahs to hunt them, after them hyenas to eat their bones He created; so that they eat the bigger ones, so that (?) do not increase, so that animals do not go hungry, so that grass continually grows, so that the earth is enough for them, He created lions, He created tigers. They too keep the balance by eating the big animals there. Beyond this, how were these created, why were they created? Their deeper-rooted secret is within the keys of Allah's unseen.

Yes. Say: in the heavens and on the earth no one knows the unseen except Allah. Do I know what the unseen in the heavens is? The seven layers of the heavens — what is there, on which layer the angels are, what the duties of these angels are — the keys of the unseen are in Allah's hand. Allah Almighty created the heavens and the earth and what is between them in six days. The knowledge of all these beings and created things is with Allah. So what has been created in the heavens and on the earth, and what these are, only Allah knows. Besides this, when the created will be resurrected after death — the knowledge of this too is with Allah. People do not know this either.

Allah has kept some events hidden as a secret belonging to Him alone. Since these hidden secrets are for people's good, Allah Almighty has not revealed them to people. For example, if a person knew when he would die, he would fall into depression, his mind would be fixed on the time of his death, life would become a dungeon to him. But although he knows he will die, since he does not know when he will die, life seems very long to a person, so he goes on living as if he would never die and enjoys his life. So the hiding of death has been a mercy to people. Just as people do not know when they will die, when they will be resurrected they do not know either. How long they will remain under the earth after death, and when the Trumpet will be blown and people resurrected again — this too is with Allah.
