They say, “If you are truthful, when is this promise (going to come)?”
Tafsir
The polytheists and the disbelievers, the people who do not believe in Allah, say: Tell me when this threat will be realized, if you are truthful. The people who consider the Prophet's (PBUH) entrusting the truth and Allah's mercy upon them as a threat, because they are against Allah, they consider Allah's mercy and His light that will bring people to life as a threat. However, if they had surrendered to Allah, they would have realized that Allah's Verses are not a threat to them, but pioneers who bring them back to life and light the way to Paradise and the abode of eternal bliss, benefiting from Allah's light.
People who disbelieve in Allah, with their limited and narrow vision, have closed their eyesight. Instead of seeing the Truth, they have become people who follow their own desires and the filth that Satan gilds them with, and who aspire to the land of eternal torment instead of the true land of bliss. They cannot hear or see the Truth. Because their ears are blocked against the Truth and their eyes are blind to the Truth. In this respect, they cannot turn towards the eternal Truth.
What is said in the video
Surah An-Naml, verse 71: they say, if you are truthful, tell us then, when will this threat come true? This threat. Bismillahirrahmanirrahim. Emanü'l-Rahim ve yekûlûne metâ hâze'l-va'dü in kuntüm sâdikîn If you are truthful, tell us then. When will this threat come true? If you are among the truthful, it says. The polytheists and the disbelievers. Why do I say polytheists and disbelievers? Polytheists are idol worshippers; disbelievers are those from the People of the Book. People who do not believe in Allah, people who believe in various ideologies, say this: tell us then, if you are truthful, when will this threat come true?
People who regard the Prophet's (peace be upon him) conveying of the truth, Allah's mercy upon them, as a kind of threat — because they are against Allah, they regard Allah's mercy and His light that will bring people to life as a threat, whereas (?) if they too had submitted to Allah, Allah's verses would be for them, rather than a threat, pioneers who, benefiting from Allah's light that brings them to life, light the way before them on the paths to His Paradise and the abode of eternal bliss — this they would see.
So, people who deny Allah, with their meagre and narrow view, their insight has been closed. Instead of seeing the truth, following the filth that their own whims and Satan show them as gilded, they have become people who, instead of the true abode of bliss, seek the eternal abode of punishment. They neither hear nor see the truth. Because their ears are blocked to the truth and their eyes are blind to the truth; such are these people. That is why they do not turn to the eternal truth.
