You cannot make the blind turn away from their mischief and bring them to the right path. You can only make hear, those who believe in Our verses and submit.

Tafsir

(hatamallahu ala gulubihim wa ala semihim wa ala ebsarihim ğışaveh velehum azabun azim) These people, which is the equivalent of this verse, are also blind. They do not see the miracles that occur in front of their eyes. They are also blind to the Truth. In this respect, when it says that you cannot guide the blind people who continue on astray paths by turning them away from their astray paths, as we explained in the previous verse, it means that these people's covenant with Allah (swt), their denial of Allah (swt), and their wills have been written for them as destiny. Since every human being will live his or her own destiny, no one can change anyone's destiny and turn that person into the Truth.

You can only announce Allah's invitation to these people, for they are destined to know the Truth, and they are the only ones who believe and have faith in Allah and have made a good covenant with Allah, and they are the only ones who are destined to know the Truth. However, when these people hear the Truth, they immediately obey the Truth and follow you.

What is said in the video

Surah An-Naml, verse 81. You cannot turn the blind away from their errors and guide them to the right path. Now, in many places Allah Almighty speaks of the blind. Are all of us here blind? Are the unbelievers blind? That is what Allah calls blind; there, as blind ones, they will be (?). Whereas He uses it in a figurative sense. Blind? Whom do they call blind? Blind? If I now, right before your eyes, had made this mouse, İsa, if I had made the mouse, before your eyes, and you did not believe that I made it, are you blind or not? No, are you blind or not? Allah Almighty, too, created us in the realm of lahut, at the address "Elestü bi Rabbiküm", and addressed us, saying: I am your Lord.

There is no other creator. And you know that you were created. Well then, if you deny the Creator, are you blind or not? Yes.

What does it say? Surely your Lord will judge between them. He is absolutely Mighty, the All-Knowing. I suppose we read that part, 81. verse. You cannot turn the blind away from their errors and guide them to the right path. The eighty-first verse, Surah An-Naml. You can only make those hear who believe in Our verses and submit, it says. How beautifully Allah Almighty says it; all the verses support each other so beautifully. Only, only those who believe in Our verses and submit can you make hear. Yes. So, of the verse Hatemallahu alâ kulûbihim ve alâ sem'ihim ve alâ ebsârihim gışâvetün ve lehüm azâbun azîm: these people who oppose are also blind in their eyes.

They do not see the miracles that appear before their eyes. They too are blind to seeing the truth. In this respect, when it says you cannot turn the blind who continue on misguided paths away from their errors and guide them to the right path, then, as we explained in the previous verse, these people's wishes, together with their denial of Allah in their covenant with Allah Almighty, were written for them as their destiny. Since every person will live his own destiny, no one can change anyone's destiny and turn that person to the truth. But the people who believed in Allah and had faith, who, in making the covenant with Allah Almighty, gave Allah Almighty a good pledge — since their destinies were written for them as knowing the truth, you can make only these people hear Allah's call.

But these people, when they hear the truth, immediately respond to the truth and follow you, He says. Yes. In one place there is olive oil, in another there is water; both are liquids. If you pour the olive oil onto the water, it immediately rises to the top of the water. That is how the one who believes and the one who does not are separated. Emr-i bi'l-maruf: Allah Almighty makes it heard, but people separate from one another immediately in this way.
