Tafsir
Allah (swt) continues to prove the existence of His Essence with knowledge. Allah (swt) created the night and the day so that people can rest at night and work during the day to earn their livelihood. He also emphasizes that the earth is like a sphere in space and rotates. Allah, who made the earth oval and rotated it, could have made it flat like a tray and rotated it. In that case, there would be no day and night, and there would either be perpetual light or perpetual darkness. It states that Allah has created everything with His omniscience and power, and that He has created everything complete and perfect, i.e. solid, down to the smallest detail.
The earth is oval-shaped and its rotation around its axis in front of the sun creates night and day. There are signs in this for the people of understanding. By turning the weight of the earth, which cannot be expressed in numbers, in a vacuum, Allah (swt) has placed the times and the lunar calendar, which we call the camera, in the sky. This creation is to prove the existence of Allah (swt). It is not possible that these events would have come into existence on their own.
Allah, who created the universe out of nothing in every aspect, declares and proves His Essence with knowledge. However, He proves His creations only to the extent that people can see them. It is in Allah's knowledge what He has created and what is beyond these worlds. In this respect, it does not confuse our little minds by explaining to us the creation of things other than what we see.
What is said in the video
Surah An-Naml, verse 86. So that they may rest, the night dark. So that they may rest, the night dark, and the day bright so that they may work — did they not see that We made them so? Surely there are many lessons in this for a people who believe. Now, there are many meanings in this verse, but let me tell you one of them. Did they not see that We made the night dark so that they may rest, and the day bright so that they may work? Well, I rest during the day. (?) making the night dark?
The night — so that they may rest, the night; so that they may rest, pay attention, the night —
the night is dark. It gives you sleep, sleep. Can't I sleep during the day? You can. But you will be working night and day. You sleep a little, and you rest again. But at night your body needs this sleep, it needs rest. Think of an engine. (?) running? Full throttle. It has overheated. It needs rest. In the same way a human being, a body, an engine is running. At night all the muscles, all the organs on their own, slowly, provided they keep you (?), gather strength. Strength. They gather strength. Strength — just as you put petrol in a car and the car goes as far as it can go on the power of that petrol.
So with that sleep, with the meals you have eaten, the foods, or, even if you do not eat, from the reserves in the body, it takes that strength. Just as you fill the car's tank with petrol, those organs are strengthened. When you get up in the morning, you work again, refreshed, (?) the evening. And this is only the first meaning. Yes.
Surely there are many lessons in this for a people who believe. Look what it says. Indeed, for a people who believe there are many lessons in this.
Allah Almighty indeed keeps on proving His existence through knowledge. Allah Almighty's purpose in creating night and day: He created them so that people rest at night and work during the day and earn their living. Besides this, it stresses that the earth is like a sphere in space and turns. Allah, who made the earth oval and turns it, could also have made it flat like a tray and turned it. Then there would be no night and day at all; it would be either constantly light or constantly dark. That by the power of His knowledge Allah created everything Himself, and created it down to the finest particulars, in detail, without any flaw and firm, that is, solid — this is what it states.
The earth being nearly oval and turning on its own axis facing the sun brings about night and day. In this there are lessons for those who have understanding. That is, Allah Almighty, by turning the earth, whose weight cannot be expressed in numbers, in a void, has set the times, and in the sky — the moon we call kamer — He has placed the lunar calendar. It is created this way so that Allah Almighty proves His existence. It is not possible for these events to come about by themselves. So Allah, who created the universe in every respect from nothing, makes Himself known through knowledge and proves Himself. But He proves through knowledge what He created only as far as people can see it.
What else He created beyond these worlds, what else there is, lies in Allah's knowledge. For this reason He does not tell our small minds about what lies beyond what we see, about its creation, so as not to confuse our minds.
