On the Day when the Trumpet (The Sur) is blown, with the exception of those who desired from Allah (the loyal servants), everyone in the heavens and on earth will be terrified. They will all come to Allah with their heads down.
Tafsir
The Day of Judgment will come, all created beings will be annihilated, and when Allah will resurrect human beings in the Hereafter, the Sur will be blown by an appointed angel and the bodies of all human beings will be resurrected from the earth.
On that Day, those who wish for Allah are the people who will be exempted. Who are these people who wish for Allah? They are the people whom He says (wassabiku nessabikun) (ulaikal mukârrebun). Some of them are Prophets. They are Allah's messengers to people as His missionaries. They are also the people whom he calls righteous servants (in good deeds) (those who are in the forefront (in reward) are in the forefront. They are the closest to Allah). These people believed in Allah and the Hereafter and reformed their souls for the sake of Allah.
When that Sur is blown on these people, except for these, and the others, when they see that they have been gathered together and when those who hoped that there would be no resurrection, when they see that Allah's word is true, when they realize that they will be held to account for what they have done in this world, those in the heavens and the earth, all of Allah's creatures, will be terrified. They are in a state of fear and panic. But since they have nowhere to run and nowhere to go, they gather before Allah (swt) with their necks bowed. Just as they were first created, in three divisions (wa waquntum al-aswajan selase) All the aswaj from each other have become three divisions.
What is said in the video
On the day the Trumpet is blown, on the day the Trumpet is blown, except those Allah wills, except those Allah wills, all who are in the heavens and on earth are seized with terror. All of them come to Him with bowed necks, it says. On the day the Trumpet is blown, "except those Allah wills," it says, whereas here it is: on the day the Trumpet is blown, except the righteous servants who desire Allah — "those Allah wills" — except the righteous servants who desire Allah, all who are in the heavens and on earth are seized with terror. All of them come to Him with bowed necks. Necks bowed — the sinners, all of them.
Those He wills, the one He wills — that is, who is the one who desires? The righteous servants to whom He gave the rank of intercession. The Last Day will come. All created beings — kün feyekün — that is, will perish. With "Kün" He created. Having created them, after creating them, they will perish. When Allah resurrects people again in the hereafter, by an appointed angel the Trumpet will be blown. Yes.
And the bodies of all people will be gathered again from the earth. They will be brought back to life and rise. On that day, the people who desire Allah are the exception. Who are these people who desire Allah? The people of whom He says: Ves-sâbikûne's-sâbikûn, ülâike'l-mukarrabûn. Who else? The prophets. Yes. Some of them are prophets. Allah's envoys to people with duties — His envoys. They are also the people He calls righteous servants, who are foremost in good and foremost in reward. They are the closest to Allah. These people believed in Allah and the hereafter in this world and reformed their nafs for Allah's sake.
When the Trumpet is blown, these people
are the exception; as for the others, when they see they have been gathered, those who hoped there would be no resurrection, when they see that Allah's word is true, when they realise they will be called to account for what they did in the world — all who are in the heavens and on earth, all the beings Allah created, are seized with terror. They are in fear and panic. But since they have nowhere to flee or go, with bowed necks they gather before Allah Almighty. Just as they were first created, in three groups. Ve küntüm ezvâcen selâseh — all the pairs, people who came from one another, became three groups. Now, there is one more word I will tell you here.
What does it say here?
Ve yevme yünfehu fi's-sûri fe fezia men fi's-semâvâti ve men fi'l-ardı illâ men şâallah. Yes, those in the heavens and on earth are seized with terror, all of them, the righteous servants excepted. Who are the righteous servants? Let me tell you one more among these righteous servants. People who rise to nafs-i mutmainna are righteous servants too. Here, when you say righteous servants: among people there are righteous servants, and the prophets are righteous servants too. Of course they are divided by degrees; their ranks are different. Now, the believers are included in this too. When we say believers are righteous servants: the believer who has risen to nafs-i mutmainna, the people who have come to know Allah Almighty's manifestations, are also people included in this group.
Where do we derive this from? In Surah Al-Fajr, 27, 28, 29, 30, verses — what does it say? O soul at peace, with your Lord pleased with you, you pleased with your Lord, enter among My servants, enter My Paradise — the people He says this to, they too are righteous servants. So why are their necks not bowed? Because Allah will receive them with a smiling face, the righteous servants. Since He will receive them with a smiling face, the person will approach Him with reverence. With reverence. Not with a bowed neck like that, not like that, not a sinner. What does it say? Allah pleased with him, and they pleased with their Lord, enter among My servants, enter My Paradise. Yes. These are the people who are received with a smiling face.
So what do we say in our prayer? O Lord, for the sake of those righteous servants, the saints, the anbiya, the prophets, for the sake of the martyrs, the shuhada — just as You receive them with a smiling face, us too do not put to shame in the hereafter, do not make our necks bowed; grant us too to be received with a smiling face — this is what we say. Yes.
