Translation

Say, “I have been ordered to worship the Lord of this town (Makkah). Allah has given an honor to me and everything is for Allah. And I was ordered to be among the Muslims.

Tafsir

Allah (swt) said to the Prophet (pbuh), "I have been commanded to worship Allah, the Lord of this town, that is, the representative Baytullah in Makkah." Allah (swt) has given the Prophet (pbuh) a veneration. One of these honors is the Holy Qur'an, which is the Word of Allah (swt). The second is the title of Prophethood that He gave to the Prophet (SAW). Both are worthy of reverence. To disrespect them is to disobey the commands of Allah (swt) and such people are in the swamps of disbelief.

Everything is for Allah. For there is no God but Allah. He is the sole and absolute sovereign and absolute power and absolute victor in His property. The heavens and the earth and all that is between them are Allah's creations. The sovereignty of all this property belongs to Allah. Again, my Lord has commanded me that I should be of the Muslims, that is, I should know Allah as One and believe in and have faith in all His Prophets and Books.

This is how the Prophet (PBUH) addressed people, how he introduced Allah (swt) through the words he spoke to people, and how he began to teach them that there is no other God but Allah (swt) by entrusting them with some of the conditions of faith.

What is said in the video

Surah An-Naml, verse 91. Say: the Lord of this city, of Mecca, to worship Him I have been commanded. So is Allah Almighty only the Lord of that city? That is what comes to our mind. it says. Say: the Lord of this city, of Mecca, I have been commanded to worship. Then I would not worship here. He is the Lord of that place. In this case Allah Almighty says in His verse:

Cities near the mother city. The mother city. When it says mother city, the mother of all the cities in the world is Mecca, and by saying "the Lord of Mecca" — to that Mecca, mother of all the cities, or rather to all cities, it means: to the One who is the Lord of the cities. the mother city, because Mecca — so Allah Almighty says — to Mecca which is the mother city, and the others near it, its surroundings, that is, near, all the cities in the world. In this case, if Mecca is the mother city, of all the cities in the world Mecca being the mother, an oath by Mecca is an oath by His own Self, an oath by the Lord of Mecca, an oath by the Owner of all beings, who is none other than Allah — an oath.

Allah Almighty also swears by time. He says Ve'l-asr.

İnne'l-insâne lefî husr. Yes. He says: I swear by time, people are in loss. A hundred years is a century. He swore by that century; when you say I live within this century, then as long as the century goes on, as long as the centuries go on — since Allah Almighty creates within time, centuries come about within time. And since Allah also created time, it means that by swearing by the century Allah Almighty swears by His own Self. Yes, He Himself is the Creator. In this case Allah Almighty, having us use our reason a little and broadly, how we are to obey the Owner of all these worlds, He makes known to us.

Yes, say: I have been commanded to worship the Lord of this city, of Mecca. He has granted me a sacred honor. And everything belongs to Him. And I have been commanded to be among the Muslims. And I have been commanded to be among the Muslims. Yes. Allah Almighty, addressing the Prophet (peace be upon him): Say, "the Lord of this city" — that is, Allah, the Lord of the Baytullah that stands in Mecca as a symbol — Him I have been commanded to worship. Allah Almighty has given the Prophet (peace be upon him) a sacred honor. One of these honors is the Holy Quran, the eternal word of Allah Almighty.

The second is the title of prophethood He gave the Prophet (peace be upon him). Both are worthy of being revered. Disrespect toward these is a person not heeding the commands of Allah Almighty, and such people are in the swamps of kufr. Everything is (?) for Allah, because there is no god but Allah. He is the one and absolute ruler in His dominion, absolutely powerful and absolutely victorious. The heavens and the earth and what is between them are Allah's creations. The sovereignty of all this dominion belongs to Allah. And my Lord commanded me to be among the Muslims. That is, to know Allah as One and in all the prophets and books Allah sent to believe and have faith.

The Prophet (peace be upon him), addressing people in this way, making Allah known with the words he spoke to people, and that besides Him there is no other god, began to teach by imparting some of the pillars of faith. Here another matter comes up. Say: the Lord of this city I have been commanded to worship. Of this city. What is in that city?

What is in Mecca?

The Baytullah. What is the Baytullah? Allah's symbolic (?). Symbolic. (?) where is it? The Bayt al-Mamur.

Now we were saying that Allah Almighty, in the place exalted above time and space, set up His sovereignty. They say he has given Allah attributes. Well, if your mind cannot grasp it, of course it seems so. You would be giving Allah attributes. You yourself would be giving the attributes. Because the believer acts as a mirror to people. It says Bayt al-Mamur. What is the Bayt al-Mamur? This is a symbolic house. So the Bayt al-Mamur is the house of Allah Almighty. Sir, where is this? In the place where His sovereignty is outside time and space. He has sent it here as a symbol. So respect for it is respect for Allah.

Why do we rush to the Baytullah? Why do we go to become hajis? The divine Self of Allah Almighty is also there in person.

But you cannot see it.

Now they will say: this Hodja has squeezed Allah into the earth.

Although Allah is beyond time and space, is He present and all-seeing everywhere? Yes. Accordingly, do you suppose Allah Almighty is there only as a single one? If from a tiny bit of His spirit, from His (?), He creates the Prophet, and from the Prophet's spirit He creates the spirits of the prophets, and from the spirits of the prophets the spirits to come from our father Adam until the Day of Judgment, the people — can you comprehend that He is in every particle present and all-seeing? One day I too sat facing the Baytullah.

I was lost in thought.

(?) appeared.

You know how a person sits on a chair, just the way he sits, on all four sides of the Baytullah, on all four sides, manifested.

I saw it. That is why they say looking at the Baytullah is worship.

Do you know these things?

We cannot fit the existence of Allah into our minds.

Nor can we say (?). If I said I saw Allah with my eyes and that I also comprehended Him, do not believe it. Say: this man has gone astray. Because he sees, comprehends — comprehends, but cannot see. Yes. That is all for here. Having said this, we move on to the rest of our lesson.
