Translation

Whoever has animosity towards Allah, also has animosity towards Allah’s angels, Prophets, and Gabriel (angel), and Michael (angel).

Tafsir

Allah (swt) has created His angels for a specific task. Even so, Allah does not need the help of anyone. They also remember Allah. But Allah wills certain events with them. In one of the verses, Allah says: "The Qur'an increases the faith of the believer and the disbelief of the disbeliever. Although Allah (swt) knows who will obey Allah's commands and who will consent to what Allah (swt) sends, He has established these rules in order to test people and to keep them as witnesses. Indeed, such people become enemies of the angels sent by Allah out of their enmity against Allah. They are indirectly enemies of Allah. Therefore, Allah (swt) says that those who are enemies of the angels whom He sends on His command are in fact enemies of Allah. Otherwise, whether people are enemies of Gabriel or not, Allah (swt) says in His verse, "It is He who has revealed the Qur'an to your heart", that is, Allah. It is only Gabriel who brings the revelation to you. Therefore, those who are enemies of Allah are enemies of Gabriel.

Allah (swt) has given human beings a lifespan, and within this lifespan, their acting out the covenant they made before in the world is to show what kind of people they are, and how they are witnesses to themselves, their surroundings and Allah (swt). In this respect, it is to allow people to commit their sins. In one of His verses, He says: "If you had been caught immediately for the evil you have done, you would not have found a single living creature roaming the earth". Therefore, their enmity does not reach Allah through their cruel acts. They are only enemies and oppressors to their own souls. Prophets, on the other hand, are messengers who tell people about the existence of Allah. If people had made a good covenant with Allah, they would not have disobeyed what came from Allah?

Or do people attribute shortcomings to Allah (swt)? Allah (swt) is free from imperfect attributes. Our Lord created our souls in the realm of Lahut. He gave them life there and then said, "I am your Lord," and people either denied or obeyed their Lord there. Accordingly, Allah (swt) separated people and created Paradise and Hell. Otherwise, Allah (swt) has not exercised His will over people's wills by saying, "I have created you in Paradise and you in Hell". Has Allah wronged people by creating them hell-bound?

What is said in the video

Now, there is one more verse here. What does it say here? Let us see.

Let us read this last verse of Surah Al-Baqarah. After that we will close.

Now, in verse 98 it says this. Let us mark this part as wrong as well.

whoever is an enemy to Allah, His angels, His prophets, Gabriel and Michael, let him know that Allah too is the enemy of the denying unbelievers (?); Allah is no one's enemy, know this well, Allah is no one's enemy. What does enemy mean? Harbouring hatred for the other person and, when his turn comes, killing him; what nonsense this is! Whereas look what we say: whoever is an enemy to Allah, Allah's angels, His prophets, Gabriel, His angels, let them know that such unbelievers are enemies of Allah too. Their enmity to Allah is one thing; Allah being their enemy is another. Even knowing Arabic and its grammar, they explain it wrongly like this.

they explain. These are explained wrongly. Just as, I swear, it says, I swear that We many of mankind, well, of jinn and mankind, We created many of them for hell, it says here. Whereas, I swear, hell was created for many of mankind and jinn. Even knowing Arabic grammar, they explain these like this. This too is a verse explained like this. Wrong. Allah is supposedly their enemy. Whereas they are enemies of Allah.

Allah being their enemy is one thing. Their being enemies of Allah is another. What happens? If Allah is an enemy to people, He is given attributes. Allah is given attributes. You cannot fit Allah into your mind and ascribe attributes to Him.

Wrongly explained verses. Allah Almighty created His angels for a particular duty. Each of them has a duty. Azrael (peace be upon him) takes souls. Gabriel (peace be upon him) brings revelation. Well, Israfil blows the Trumpet. Well, Michael is the guardian of hell. I mean Malik, Malik is the guardian of hell. (?) in paradise. These are all angels created with duties. They have no nafs. They are programmed. They do their duty according to these programmes.

There are angels who remember their Lord in the tashahhud. There are angels in bowing. There are angels standing. There are angels in prostration. But man, the (?) of the angels, does all of them the same way in the prayer. With the movements of the prayer.

Allah needs no one's help.

They too remember Allah. The angels. But through them Allah wills certain events. Certain events. In a verse Allah Almighty says the Quran increases the believer's faith and the unbeliever's unbelief. So within the order He has set up, who will submit to Allah's commands? Who will consent to what Allah sends? Although Allah Almighty knows these, to test people and make them witnesses against themselves, He has laid down these rules. And a rule. Indeed, out of their enmity to Allah, those who are enemies of what Allah sends are consequently in fact enemies of Allah. If they were not enemies of Allah, they would not be enemies of Gabriel, Michael, Israfil.

For this reason Allah Almighty says of those who show enmity to those He sent by His command: in fact these people are enemies of Allah. He assigned them by His command.

Otherwise, whether people are enemies of Gabriel or not, in Allah Almighty's verse, he is the one who sent the Quran down to your heart. That is, he is the one who brings the revelation to you. For this reason, He says, those who are enemies of Allah are enemies of Gabriel too. Because they are enemies of Allah, they are enemies of Gabriel too. Allah Almighty decreeing a life span for people, and within these life spans their playing out in this world the covenant they gave before, is so that people make themselves, those around them and Allah Almighty witnesses to what kind of person they are.

For this reason the sins people commit are permitted.

Why does He permit it? I explained it just now. (?) He sends to a world. So that you prove what kind of person you are. Even without bringing us to this world, He knows what we will do. (?) why did He bring us? There we saw our Lord. And because He created us close to His essence, we did not believe. Now if (?) were to say, I am your Lord, could I believe it at once? Yes, I was created, but why is He my Lord? And proof is needed. (?) says, beside him the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him): yes, this is our Lord. Fine, but how do we know? Now how do we know; we are in the same situation, because He gave from His spirit, one to one alike. What am I saying? There are so many people here; (?) I created you. So many people stand here, and I say, did He truly create them? If He did not create us and someone else created us, would that one let all these people be introduced to Him?

He would not. He would not. He would destroy them. He would say, I created you. And no such one comes forward. Since none comes forward, will you not use your reason, it says. Do you never think?

So Allah created.

This is a law. What are we saying here now?

Those who did not believe in Allah there become enemies of Allah's appointed ones too.

Now, is it not like this in worldly life too? Let us say, Ahmet Efendi is an enemy of our (?).

He will kill him. He also becomes an enemy of the person who is with him. He looks at him too with a treacherous eye like this. Of course, what is his fault? Actually because he is an enemy of (?).

Their being enemies of Allah's appointed ones, of Gabriel (peace be upon him), comes from their enmity to Allah, not from knowing Gabriel (peace be upon him), well. Now some people see me. He greets me with a smiling face. They do not know me. Why does he greet me with a smiling face? There is a beard, a Muslim, you see; he sees a Muslim and embraces me. And the savage one looks (?) like this. (?). Well, what did I do to you? You do not know me, yet you look at me with hatred. But you recognise who I am from my beard. And because you are an enemy of my Master, you look at me with an enemy's eye too.

Be entrusted to Allah. It can only be this much.

Yes. It can only be this much. (?). Allah Almighty decreeing a life span for people, and within these life spans their playing out in this world the covenant they gave before is so that people make themselves to themselves, to those around them and to Allah Almighty witnesses to what kind of person they are. For this reason the sins people commit are permitted. In this verse He says: if you were seized at once for the evils you did, you would not find a single living being walking on the earth. So their enmity, with these oppressive acts of theirs, does not reach Allah. They only commit enmity and wrong against their own selves.

They will have proved themselves. The prophets, likewise, are messengers who tell people of Allah's existence. If people had given Allah Almighty a good covenant, they would not oppose what comes from Allah. Let us correct this part. Let us say "had they" here; we will put a (?) here. They would not oppose what comes from Allah. Of course, if I love my Lord, if I believe in Allah's existence and have faith, even if He sent me an ant, I would choose it as commander over me. Why would I choose the ant as commander over me? I would not be able to overpower it. If it is an appointee sent by Allah, I cannot overpower it.

I die, I die in my dream. Munkar and Nakir, of the noble angels, one from the right, one from the left take my arms. by Allah, I could knock their heads together.

They are even lower than me, like this. I think like this: if this is Allah's appointee, I cannot overpower him, I say. If they are Allah's appointees. That is why I ask, where are you taking me? Where are we going? We are going to our Lord, he says.

So if it is Allah's appointee, even if He sent an ant as commander over me, I would hold to it. Because we cannot overpower it. If Allah sent an appointee, no one can overpower the one Allah has appointed. He protects the messenger who will complete that duty until the duty is over.

Or do people ascribe attributes to Allah Almighty? Allah Almighty is beyond deficient attributes. Our Lord created our spirits in the realm of Lahut and gave them life, then with His saying "I am your Lord", people there either denied or obeyed their Lord, and according to this Allah Almighty separated people, and His paradise and hell He created. Otherwise Allah Almighty did not, by His own will, tell people: you I created for paradise, and you for hell, and so use His own will over people's destinies; He did not.

Yes, had Allah Almighty used His own will over people, according to the verse "My mercy has surpassed My wrath", no one would enter hell.

Since hell also exists, and since Allah Almighty has the attribute of justice — what was the attribute of justice? "A-laysa Allahu bi-ahkami'l-hakimin". The Judge of judges. In this case, since Allah Almighty says "My mercy has surpassed My wrath", would He wrong His creatures? Is this possible? So He addressed man to His essence, gave man's will into his own hand, and by man's own actual deeds He separated their places, brought paradise and hell into being.

It is that simple. That simple. Well, how can you pin this on Allah, that He puts whomever He wants into paradise and whomever He wants into hell?

Allah did not create people for hell and wrong people.
