Al-Baqarah 109: After truth became apparent to them, most of the People of the Book have tried to convince you away from your belief towards denial just because of the jealousy in their hearts. Forgive them and overlook until Allah fulfills Allah’s order. Vow to that; Allah is Almighty.

We have come to verse 109. Many of the People of the Book, after the truth had become clear and evident to them, purely out of the envy within them, wanted to turn you away from your faith and back to disbelief. Even so, until Allah brings His command concerning them, pardon and forgive. Surely Allah has power over all things.

What does Allah Almighty say?

Those who, to the ones who convey the truth, who speak the truth, out of their envy, though they know the truth, want to turn you from your religion.

Even so, it says, until Allah sends down something concerning them, you forgive them. Yes, you are to be forgiving. You are not to bear a grudge against anyone. You are to look kindly on what Allah created. İbrahim Fakrullah says it like this: Look kindly on the created, in the Creator (?). Everyone will live their own (?) and prove to Allah what kind of person they are.

Many of the People of the Book, although they clearly know the truth, that is, although they know that Muhammad (peace be upon him) is a prophet, and perceive that the Quran is the true book, out of envy that a prophet did not come from among them, knowingly denying its truth, tried to turn the Muslims too away from their faith and back to disbelief.

This is envy. Why? He did not come from our people. Until now the prophet always came from our people. Can you know whose people you are from? All these people were created indirectly from the soul of the Prophet. You do not realise that what you envy, what you call my people, what you make your ego about, you deny your own origin according to your own mind.

Yes.

These efforts of theirs still go on. It still continues. Indeed, even if a prophet had come from among them, they would have found an excuse for him too and not believed. Because this is a people that has made it a habit to turn its back on Allah, a people.

Even if he had come from among them, since everyone will live out the covenant they gave to Allah Almighty in the address "Alastu bi-Rabbikum", within that destiny, since their destiny is like this, they again would not have believed in him. Even so, until Allah brings His command concerning them, pardon and forgive them. That is, our Lord does not want to will injustice to people. Allah Almighty brings a verse about them in the verses ahead. Whoever follows them is like them, He declares. So whoever follows this people, or whoever follows disbelief, has also chosen disbelief; these are the ones who exchange faith for disbelief. Is there none? There is, among Muslims, those who for money en masse become polytheists, or let us not say polytheists, become disbelievers; there are those who abandon Islam and turn to disbelief in exchange for material gain.

From the verse in which He says, until Allah brings His command concerning them, pardon and forgive them, in one sense, Innad-dina indallahil-Islam: the religion with Allah is Islam. No religion other than Islam has remained on earth.

Were the other religions not religions? They were religions. Then why did Allah abolish the religions? He gathered them all in the Quran. Even though their names were different, they were all upon the nature of Islam. Because our Allah gathered those ten commandments, the Torah, the Psalms and the Gospel, their verses, in the Holy Quran. Since those verses were upon the nature of Islam, they too were upon the nature of Islam. So people who are upon the nature of Islam, by denying the Quran, are also denying the book in their own hands.

Yes.

All religions are gathered in the Quran. For this reason the Quran has come to all of humanity. Whereas the other religions came to peoples, part by part. Since He will send no more prophets, the maintenance of the religion He sent until the Day of Judgement, the preservation of the Holy Quran, Allah Almighty Himself has taken on. The preservation of the Holy Quran Allah Almighty Himself has taken on. In a verse: We sent down the Quran. With the verse in which He says We will protect it from every kind of corruption, it is Allah's command that all people, those who say Allah, gather under this religion.

As I said a moment ago, since the other religions too, with their verses, were upon the nature of Islam, and since He gathered these books in the Holy Quran, Allah Almighty: innad-dina indallahil-Islam, the religion is Islam, (?) the religion is Islam. So it invites all people to the Quran, since no prophet will come again, (?) and to the prophethood of Muhammad (peace be upon him). Whoever turns their back on this invitation, just as they cannot bring any harm or flaw to their Creator, to Allah, tomorrow, on the Day of Judgement, they will have sold their own selves to that fire. They will have sold them to that eternal torment.

Whoever deliberately denies a verse of the Quran, whoever deliberately denies a verse, is a disbeliever. Those who turn their backs on the Quran, or on the Messenger of Allah, or on Allah, have become disbelievers.

Either he turns his back on the Quran and deliberately denies a verse, or he denies the Prophet, or else he associates partners with Allah. These have become disbelievers. Allah Almighty warns the people of faith. He warns the people of faith. Yes.

This heart, not using its intellect, (?) its own nafs; Allah Almighty, to the people of faith: also, because of your faith, because of your faith, do not (?) those who are enemies of Allah. Forgive them. Perhaps they do not intend harm to your life or your homeland, saying this, He tells us not to follow them.

Provided that no harm is intended to your life or your homeland, to their words to you, leave your religion, it is false, and the like, pay no attention, it says. Forgive them. Surely Allah has power over all things. Surely Allah is aware of every state of His creation.

None of His creation can go outside of Allah's existence. None of His creation. Why can it not? Because Allah Almighty, who made a covenant with each of our souls in the address "Alastu bi-Rabbikum", has given us our desire and wish, our will, as our destiny for ourselves. No person is able to go outside his destiny. These worlds are programmed until the Day of Judgement. Within this program these worlds are (?).

He did not create His creation separate from His being. All that is created was created in need of Allah. All that is created. Indeed. The most honoured, man, was created. We are all in need of Allah. In our eating, our drinking, our illness, our death, our resurrection, in everything we are in need of Allah.

As for me, (?) personally, I cannot do without Allah.

Why can I not? We will use our intellect. Say there is no Allah. Say He left you, abandoned you. He abandoned you. Can you imagine? You will not die, and there is no death either. (?) (?). All illnesses will find you. All over you, you will be covered in wounds and bruises; you have no remedy; in the mud, on the ground, you will lie down and get up. (?) And there is no death either. (?) No. I cannot do without my Lord. My Lord is the possessor of mercy. In every case I am in need of Him. In every case we are in need of Him. If He abandons us, woe to us. Woe to us. That is why we will strive to earn Allah's mercy.

We will ask Him not to abandon us. Does Allah abandon? Of course He will abandon. Where? In the hereafter. So there they are eternally alone, it says. They have neither anyone nor helpers. They have neither an intercessor nor a helper, it says. Allah protect us. So, ladies, if we think a little about our surroundings, in this passing world, however much we fulfil our responsibilities, let us never part from being servants of Allah. Yes.

None of His creation can go outside of Allah's existence. He did not create His creation separate from His being. All that is created was created in need of Allah. And Allah does not will injustice to the worlds. With the verse, He is aware of the state of all His creation; for He declares that Allah has power over all things. That is, He is able to do all things. He is the One who knows their states, who (?), who hears and sees. Yes.
