Translation

As Abraham had attested to his sons, Jacob also attested to his sons, (saying) “Allah has sent to you the religion (Islam). So, only die in the state of being a Muslim”.

Tafsir

Hadrat Abraham and Hadrat Ya'qub 'alaihis-salâm' advised their sons not to deviate from Islam in their wills, saying that Allah has sent for you the religion of Islam. They testified that there is no god but Allah, that all human beings are the servants of Allah, that accordingly people should not deviate from Allah's Shari'ah, and that those who deviate from Allah's commands will suffer loss in the Hereafter. Do not depart from the religion of Islam, do not compromise Allah and your religion, do not be deceived by the life of the world and lose yourselves in the marshes of the world. Act upon the Shari'ah of Allah and judge between people with truth and justice. Be an example to people by living the religion of Islam and spend your life in servitude to Allah so that you may die in Islam. Otherwise, those who do not serve Allah in this world and turn away from Him will go from this world to the Hereafter without any capital. They will be all alone in the Hereafter. They will have neither a friend nor a helper there. May Allah grant us all the opportunity to live in accordance with the Islamic nature and pass on to the Hereafter as Muslims.

What is said in the video

Yes, we come to Surah Al-Baqarah, verse 132, the noble verse.

As Abraham enjoined his sons, Jacob too, to his sons, enjoined: Allah has sent the religion of Islam for you. So die only as Muslims.

In that Surah Al Imran that Ömrü Şeki asked about, verse 74, as I explained there, all books, all people are upon Allah's commands. They die upon the fitra of Islam. They are in Islam. What does it say here? As Abraham enjoined his sons, Jacob too enjoined his sons: Allah has sent the religion of Islam for you. So die only as Muslims. What is the religion of Islam? The religion of Islam: in those eras, according to minds, a burden people could not bear, on people's backs Allah Almighty does not lay; that, according to their minds, they comprehend Allah Almighty and, in the worship they perform for Him, fulfill the duties, the religion of Islam.

That, going by Allah's rulings, in carrying out Allah's commands they live by the religion of Islam. That they represent that there is no god other than Allah. Yes. Abraham, and also Jacob (peace be upon him), enjoining their sons, advising them not to leave Islam: Allah has sent the religion of Islam for you, they said. Bearing witness that there is no god but Allah, that all people are servants of Allah, and accordingly that people must not depart from Allah's sharia, that those who depart from Allah's commands will be losers in the Hereafter, making this known: O sons, from the religion of Islam do not depart; make no concession on Allah and your religion; deceived by worldly life, do not let yourselves be swept into the swamps of the world.

Act according to Allah's sharia. Judge among people with truthfulness and justice. What beautiful counsel they give. Prophets; the heirs of the prophets are the scholars. The scholars, the scholars. Who? The scholars. The scholars.

The people of whom the Prophet (peace be upon him) said, the (?) of my community are like the prophets of the Children of Israel: the heirs of the Prophet. These are raised personally, spiritually, by our Lord. Those kneaded with Allah's knowledge; our Lord showing them the realms of unveiling and meaning, as far as He wills; these are the scholars; and giving them wisdom. To those people. Allah Almighty does not leave the world without scholars.

And those scholars, their feelings they sense with that wisdom. What they said, he relates as if he were beside them. What does it say? O sons! Do not depart from the religion of Islam. Make no concession on Allah and your religion. Deceived by worldly life, do not let yourselves be swept into the swamps of the world. Act according to Allah's sharia. Judge among people with truthfulness and justice. Be an example to people by living the religion of Islam, and your life, your life, spend in servanthood to Allah, so that you die upon Islam. Otherwise, those who do not serve Allah in worldly life and turn away from Him go from this world to the Hereafter without capital, without capital. In the Hereafter they are left all alone.

There they have neither a friend nor a helper. May Allah grant and make easy for all of us to live upon the fitra of Islam and, as Muslims, to the Hereafter pass on, so we said.
