We send verses for your benefit and raise them to a higher meaning (according to time) so that you can understand them. Don’t you know that Allah is Almighty!

Tafsir

Allah (swt) sends His Verses to people according to the progress of reason and science. The fact that He sends His Verses in such a way that they are not a burden on the people of that time, and that He sends them in such a way that they can understand them better, is the pinnacle of Allah's art of speaking and explaining to human beings, and the summit of the art of Allah's speaking to human beings, and that He is exempt from deficient attributes. Even though He sent some of His verses in the Torah in a way that is very clear for our time, the people of that time had difficulty in understanding them. In the fifty-third (53) verse of Surah Al-Baqarah, which we have already mentioned, it says, "We gave Moses the Torah and the Furqan, which will distinguish between truth and falsehood". So these are ten commandments. Eight of these ten commandments are in Verse 83 and two are in Verse 84. By sending the Furqan, He also explained the Verses in the Torah so that they would be better understood and so that people would not have difficulty in understanding them.

In this case, when Allah (swt) says that He has changed His verse to a higher meaning, some scholars say that Allah (swt) has abrogated this verse or replaced it with such and such verse, that this verse is no longer valid and that it has been abrogated, and people are being dragged into kufr. Here, it is not that it has been abrogated, but that it has been sent in a higher sense, in a higher sense that the people of the time can comprehend or that the people who will come after us will understand it in a way that we cannot comprehend it. Because the Qur'an addresses the present time and the future time as well. His address to the future time means that what we cannot comprehend, with the development of technology, science and science, the people of that time will understand the Qur'an and Allah will symbolize the proof of His existence to them.

If Allah had abrogated one verse and sent another verse in its place, Allah (swt) would also be characterized. It could also be inferred that Allah (swt) was developing His Essence according to the development of human beings. Or Allah (swt) would have made a distinction between His servants. This would have characterized Allah. That is, He did not deem such and such servant worthy of this, but He imposed this and that on such and such people. In this case, Allah (swt) says in His verse, "You will not find any change in Our ancient custom", whereas Allah (swt) says in His verse, "There is a Book in Our sight, which is preserved in the Levh-i Mahfuz, written by the pure and clean hands of angels. No addition or omission is made to it afterwards). Therefore, to say that he changed a verse to a higher meaning does not mean that he abrogated or changed the verse. It does not mean that the meaning of the abrogations in the Qur'anic verses has changed, but that they have been changed to a higher meaning. How can this be? We said earlier that Allah's Word is based on letters. What kind of a formula can be formed when one letter and another letter come together, and what path Allah (swt) shows us, what He commands us to do, this is unique to Allah (swt) through His art of speech. In this respect, He says that if man and jinn were to gather, they could not come up with the meaning of the equivalent of a verse. Accordingly, Allah (swt), who revealed the verse about His Messenger Muhammad (s.a.w.) that he does not speak in vain, and those who characterize Allah (swt) in His Holy Qur'an by saying that such and such verse was abrogated by such and such verse, or changed by such and such verse, should know that Allah (swt) does not fit into the minds of people, and if He did, He would be incomplete. Hasha; Again, people should know well and never forget that Allah is exempt from incomplete attributes. People should intellectually comprehend and realize that He is free from these incomplete attributes. If they cannot understand the meanings of the Verses of Allah (swt), it is not possible for them to comprehend the Verses.

If they try to give meaning to the Qur'an according to their own minds, they will give one meaning in one place and another meaning in another place to the same Verse. They understand another Verse in an even different way, and then they realize that this Verse is given this meaning here and that Verse is given another meaning in so-and-so place, and they contradict what they have learned with different meanings, and they get into an insurmountable situation. But in any case, they console themselves by saying that Allah says this here and that here, and they do their deeds accordingly. In this respect, if deeds did not depend on intentions, Allah forbid, we would all be disbelievers. None of Allah's Verses contradict each other, and if there is a contradiction, it is our lack of intellect. It is our misunderstanding of the verse.

Insha'Allah, the issue of neshah has been understood a little bit. We continue with the verse (We will change it to a higher meaning and send it to you in a way you will understand, for your benefit).

(We will send it for your benefit) means; (We do not wish oppression on the worlds) It is of course for our benefit that it shows us the paths of light according to the verse (We do not wish oppression on the worlds), that it does not burden us with the burden that we cannot bear according to our time, that it shows us the paths of salvation according to its verses.

For example, if we give an example according to the verse, "According to the time, according to your good deeds", when we need to perform ablution where there is no water, we do tayammum and perform ablution. This is an intention of two darp. As we all know, we strike the ground twice with the palms of our two hands facing the ground, then the thumbs of our two hands come side by side and hit each other to anoint our face, then we strike our hands on the ground twice again, and again we open the palm of our left hand by striking our two hands side by side, and we take our right hand from the top of our hand to the elbow in the left palm, turn our right hand at the elbow and bring the lower part of our arm into the left palm and take our hand out of the left palm. We do the same by opening our right palm and wiping our left hand up to our elbows. The moment we find water, our ablution is broken. These are Allah's rulings for the convenience of people according to the times.

Do you not know (that Allah is Almighty)? Allah, Who created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, is not free from His creation. So since Allah is aware of what we do, He has linked our deeds to our intentions. Since Allah (swt) knows your intentions, we attribute your actions to your intentions. It is not possible for any creature to deceive Allah or to do anything without His knowledge. That is why He says, "Allah is Almighty.

What is said in the video

Allah Almighty, in verse 106, in verse 106 of Surah Al-Baqarah, says this. We send down verses, changing them according to the time into a higher meaning in a way you will understand, for your good. Do you not know that Allah has power over all things?

Here, piled one on another, one of the verses that people cannot understand, and (?) people falling into contradiction, or, as they learned from one another, say Allah Almighty abrogated a verse. Gentlemen, there is no abrogation in the Holy Quran.

Whoever says there is abrogation in the Holy Quran, that person will show me a verse. And I will prove to him that the verse, the verse he shows, the verse he will show, he has fitted to his own head and that it is wrong. It turned out wrong, like that. Now that this verse's turn has come today, it came at a good time; I will explain it.

People, our people, especially saying I know Arabic, with the knowledge they praise to the skies, praising themselves to the skies, saying that those who do not know Arabic are (?), or that their word is not to be listened to — now we will prove that with Arabic this matter cannot be solved. One. The word of Allah Almighty is based on letters. Listen well. Those who will criticise me, let them listen well too. Those who say I have caught the end of the rope, let them listen too. There is no abrogation in the Holy Quran. The word of Allah Almighty is based on letters. What does Alif, Lam, Mim mean?

Allahu a'lam. What does Ta-Ha, Ya-Sin mean? These verses, look, these are based on letters. What do they mean? Allahu a'lam. So by these letters coming together Allah Almighty forms His verse. And by these letters being lined up side by side, meaning by meaning, Allah Almighty's verses open up. In the words of Allah Almighty, something that would form a second meaning, an outward second meaning, you cannot find any edge. You cannot find any edge. One: they ask you about the souls; say, it is a command of my Lord.

Since kul ruh (?) is Allah Almighty, when it says you sent My spirit, they immediately pin it on: He sent Gabriel (peace be upon him). When it says He revealed, they understand that Gabriel (peace be upon him) brought the revelation; "He revealed", they understand. At Sidrat al-Muntaha, at that moment, that which covered the Lote Tree was covering it, it says. (?) he rose upright. Allah revealed to His servant what He revealed. They pin the verse on Gabriel (peace be upon him).

O you people who appear to have studied, ruled by falsehood.

Gabriel cannot reveal. Pay attention to the verse. At that moment, that which covered the Lote Tree was covering it. If Gabriel (peace be upon him) went an ant's length further beyond the Lote Tree, he would burn. Then he drew near and was at a distance of two bow-lengths. Within time — beside the Prophet (peace be upon him), who vanished from time and space, outside time and space. He drew near, that is, he came close, and was at a distance of two bow-lengths. Then Allah revealed to His servant what He revealed. If revelation is from Allah Almighty, who is outside time and space, to the heart of the Prophet (peace be upon him), who is within time and space — if it is revelation, revelation, by way of communication, then the word of Allah; if this is Gabriel, since Gabriel too cannot go outside time and space, Gabriel, who is within time and space, cannot reveal.

He can only bring revelation. It is like that in this verse. We send down verses, changing them according to the time into a higher meaning in a way you will understand, for your good. Do you not know? Allah has power over all things. Now, they say that according to this verse, the polytheists: do not marry the polytheists, it says. Allah Almighty, in His verse. Do not marry the polytheists.

You may marry the disbelievers of the People of the Book. The teacher says: look, He abrogated this verse with that one, He changed it.

His understanding is that limited, his mind that limited. Who is called a polytheist? Who is called a disbeliever? That is outside his awareness. If the disbeliever were a polytheist and the polytheist a disbeliever, Allah Almighty's word (?) would be mixed up. As we understand it, the meanings would be doubled. We say "my pasha" — we call a general "my pasha" too. We call children "my pasha" too. Which one is this? If Allah Almighty's word came to different meanings, the same word to different meanings, a person would have said to Allah Almighty: I understood it this way. The other would say: I understood it this way.

So Allah Almighty, free of deficient attributes: the polytheist is the idolater. People who never believed in Allah, the People of the Book — that is, who did not accept any book, did not accept any prophet. Who are these? The polytheists. Who are the disbelievers? Those who do not accept Muhammad and the Holy Quran, but with their own books accept the other prophets and books. These are the disbelievers. Now, the person who does not call these a verse, this verse, as I said a moment ago, the verse "do not marry the polytheists", when it says you may marry disbelievers, you may marry from the People of the Book, saying this verse was abrogated by this verse — Allah forbid — they at once attribute qualities to Allah Almighty. Because their minds go only that far.

Their understanding goes only that far. They talk only like people turning somersaults on a straight road, like cars somersaulting on a straight road, like drunk people. Because there is no knowledge. There is no knowledge. And then they say this man likes only himself. He accepts only his own words as right, they say. I too can speak wrongly; I am human. But as far as possible I do not (?) from the verses. I am not ruled by superstitions. I have nothing to do with superstitions and false information. My book is the Holy Quran. My book is the verses of Allah. Yes. I am not ruled by people's opinions.

I am a person ruled by Allah's commands. People's opinions do not concern me. Since people's opinions are deficient, the words they tell according to their own understanding are sixty, seventy percent outside the verses Allah Almighty has sent us. These superstitions being told one after another without end. Now, Allah Almighty is free of deficient attributes; He shows no partiality among His servants. If, when He said do not marry the polytheists, we had understood it as disbelievers, to the people of that time He would have given no permission to marry, and to later people He would have given permission to marry.

Would a person not say: what is my fault, what is my sin, what is my separation from them, did You create them all superior to me with a difference, did I not say I am Your servant? he would say. So take care: no one can look for a deficiency in Allah. He can only look for what he sees as deficient, as faulty, in his own deficiency. In his own deficiency. Yes. There is no abrogation in the Holy Quran. And Allah Almighty sends His verses to people in a way people will understand. When verses are translated (?). Now, yes, here let us look at this verse 106, how they have interpreted it too. Well, now see what it says.

Look at how the verse has been interpreted. In Arabic it comes like that, they interpreted it like that. These are anyway the copy of every (?). We abolish the ruling of a verse. The ruling of the verse — that cannot be. Allah Almighty will abolish it. If We abolish the ruling of a verse or make it forgotten, like this, Allah does what He wants. Allah makes us forget too. He abolishes too. But He is not qualified with human attributes. This is Allah. This is Allah. What would I say? In that He abolished this verse, there is a deficiency in it. Because there was a deficiency, He abolished it. Or they had connections, so He let them off, and gave us more obligation.

Like this. Come to your senses. Look. Do you know these people who know Arabic, and by whom it was written? In this book.

The Custodian of the Two

Holy Mosques King Fahd Complex for the Printing of the Holy Quran. Doctor, Professor Doctor Ali Özek. Prof. Dr. Hayrettin Karaman, Associate Prof. Dr. Ali Turgut, Associate Prof. Dr. Mustafa Çağırıcı, Associate Prof. Dr. İbrahim Kafi Dönmez, Associate Prof. Dr. Sadrettin Gümüş. May Allah be pleased with them. Do not think I am criticising them. Let no such thing come to your mind. They wrote it as best they could to serve humanity. I can say that this book is written much more correctly than the others. Than the others. There is another (?) written on top of this. There is a translation of the Holy Quran.

Ömer Nasuhi Bilmen's; he too wrote it very well. Ömer Nasuhi Bilmen, well, of course, they translate as far as they know Arabic. As far as they know Arabic, small mistakes come up.

(?) the strength of their knowledge. (?) beside the knowledge, Ömer Nasuhi Bilmen has a small (?) state. Ömer Nasuhi Bilmen's. If it had not been so — when interpreting the verses he lists: this, this, this, this, this, this, these states may be. Among those states is the true meaning. He also states this true meaning. But he states 7–8 or 5–6 sides of it. Still, even if it is on target, he has said it.

Really, the people to whom the Lord gives by inspiration, the mujtahids whom He Himself raised and to whom He gave wisdom, these people certainly understand the verses very well. There is no Arabic writing here. If you tell him the translation, he understands whether it is the word of Allah or not. Because it is like a stone thrown into an ocean. Circle, circle, circle, circle, those circles open towards infinity. But in human speech you soon come to a point, before you a dead end appears and you run straight into it. Those doors, iron doors, like beautiful seen proverbs; then, compared with the word of Allah Almighty, it becomes clear that it is the word of people.

Indeed, how does Allah Almighty prove that His word is outside human speech? If this were a human fabrication, we would find in it many words that do not agree with each other, He declares. So the word of Allah does not resemble human speech.

Yes. (?). Those who say there is no abrogation in the Quran. Because that is what they know. They know there is abrogation in the Quran. If abrogation had occurred in the Quran, Allah Almighty, about the Beloved of the Almighty, the Seal of the Prophets, Muhammad (peace be upon him), see what He says. He does not speak idly. So does a person who abrogates not speak idly? He abrogated. He could not know. He too kept developing himself. Indeed. That from that, that from that. He saw that it was not, understood. That came from that. Why are these superstitions? I say it again. There is no abrogation in the Holy Quran.

But since the history of the Republic, within the Republic of Turkey, people raised within the religion of Islam have learned the superstitions like this from one another, as fabrications. In Egypt, people raised at Al-Azhar University know this very well. That there is no abrogation in the Quran, and they confirm us.

Moreover, in the Holy Quran, many verses having been interpreted wrongly, people raised with that awareness are today laying down the law everywhere.

And sometimes when they speak, I (?).

Because things that do not exist are spoken of. People who know nothing about the soul. They put souls into animals, into trees, into birds. And then they try to argue. The soul is only in man. And for this reason man is the most honoured (?). Because Allah Almighty gave man of His spirit.

Can you ever find in the word of Allah a verse saying I gave a soul to this? But He says, I put of My spirit into Mary. With what does He say it? He created the souls in the realm of lahut. He created our souls, people.

And that from His being a (?); He created it from the soul of the Prophet (peace be upon him).

And the Prophet (peace be upon him) Himself gave from His very soul. In this case, for people who know nothing of these, when there is no origin, the truth is not known.

And then, believing the superstitions learned from one another, the fabrications, when someone appears against them proven by Allah's verses, with origin, with witnesses, they say a deviant has appeared. They say a fraud has appeared. How nicely they watch themselves (?), they see.

Yes. But a true person is one who knows his mistake and turns back. There is no one without fault. What was our aim? Why? We were honoured with Islam. Why? To earn Allah's mercy. If we were honoured with Islam and, under the part of Islam, in our own selfish feelings, ourselves (?) our nafs we make our god, if we pursue the claim of the ego, see the truth and turn (?), and to satisfy our own nafs still get dragged after falsehood, then we will have followed the tracks of Satan. We will have taken Satan as a guide over us. Where then is my earning my Lord's mercy as a Muslim? I receive the one who criticises me with respect.

With respect, with love I receive him. But not with slander. Not with slander.

Within that criticism, what is this criticism he will make? What he rightly knows, in a way his own mind does not, cannot, accept: Hodja, was this not like this? When he says you told it like this, if that person's word is right: yes, your word is right. It really is like this. But I said it like that. When I say this, I as a human, that Allah Almighty created me with a deficient attribute, well, will have made manifest, and after that, (?), when I am ruled by the truths my Lord made known, I also earn reward from my Lord. And that person earns reward by warning me. In the old days, when scholars gave fatwas in the mosques, when they touched on something wrong, from among the congregation someone would raise a finger. Scholar, Hodja, this word you explained, does it go against this verse?

When he said this, the Hodja would think. Yes, what you say is right. I have interpreted this part wrongly. I have understood it wrongly, he would say. He would confirm him. Now, even if you tell the truth, people whose nafs is puffed up see themselves as if among so many people, in (?). Because the nafs of these people has not reached perfection. Then they go all out with falsehood, trying to spread it over the truth. Falsehood. Even though he knows the truth — in verse 42 of Surah Al-Baqarah, what does it say? Allah Almighty: do not knowingly mix truth with falsehood. Do not conceal the truth. Here it says do not mix.

Whereas it is not so. Do not knowingly throw falsehood over the truth and try to cover it. Do not try to cover the truth, it says. Allah Almighty writes the states of all people here. All of them. And we interpret the verses very well anyway. In their true meanings. Look, I repeat. I do not know Arabic. And (?), I say. You will look for a wisdom in this. Gentlemen, you will look for a wisdom. What is that wisdom? I would not want to tell you that anything that comes out of the mouth is wrong. I would not tell you any (?) that is not in oneself. I fear Allah.

I fear Allah. I do not want to claim the rank of a place that does not exist. That is why pay very close attention to what I say.

We will continue with the verse. Before moving on to the verse itself, what have we tried to explain to you so far? About the wrong interpretation of verses, people attributing qualities to Allah Almighty. With a knowledge and a duty my Lord gave me, I truly, on earth — I say this — will sift out falsehood as far as I can, as far as my Lord has made known to me. I will sift it out.

We have told you a little about the essence

of this verse. What does Allah Almighty say? We send down verses, changing them according to the time into a higher meaning, in a way you will understand, for your good. Do you not know that Allah has power over all things? And according to this verse people, by their own minds, say Allah Almighty abrogated this verse with that verse. Abrogated it. In the Holy Quran, gentlemen, pay close attention, there is no abrogation; only people who do not know themselves, people who do not know themselves, people unaware of the verses, say Allah Almighty abrogated this verse. That is, He changed this from that.

With what?

In one verse, do not marry the polytheists, and that from the People of the Book, the disbelievers, you may marry them — look, they say He abrogates this with that. Whereas, the polytheist — let those who do not know listen well. We came here to remove falsehoods from the religion of Islam. Well, polytheist means idolater. Those who do not believe in Allah and the book, who do not believe in the prophets: do not marry these, it says. Friends, what does it say? You may marry from the People of the Book. Well, with such people — they know Allah and the prophet, they know the book, but they do not accept Muhammad (peace be upon him), they do not accept the Quran. Disbelievers, that is.

You may marry these, it says. Well, in this case, since Allah Almighty's speech is based on letters, people do not understand this and some things they mix up with each other, they make a soup of it. (?), that is, people.

Someone with a little Arabic thinks himself among the ulama. Well, if he saw an alif he would take it for a beam. In this case, if a person who knows Arabic (?) himself like that, all Arabic speakers would be scholars. Yes. In this case Allah Almighty, according to people's minds, does not load on their backs a burden they cannot bear. He sends the Torah. After the Torah, in a higher meaning the Psalms, in a higher meaning still, let me tell you, the Gospel, in a higher meaning still the Holy Quran. In this case (?). What does it say here? According to the time, into a higher meaning, changing it in a way you will understand, for your good, He sends it. According to the time, of course according to the way people will understand.

What does He do? Last He sends the Holy Quran. Well, surely in the time of Moses He does not send the Holy Quran and (?) people what they can bear. What do we say? Allah Almighty sends His verses to people according to the (?) of science. His verses. That He sends verses meaning by meaning so that they understand them better, that the verses sent are sent so as not to be too big for the people of that time — this, Allah Almighty's speaking with people and the summit of the art of explaining, is one free of deficient attributes. Yes. Indeed, the words, the sentences we speak are the meanings of the verses; what did we say? They cannot bear it. Because We do not load it on your backs, says Allah Almighty.

Yes.

Now, people who interpret the verses ruling by origins, on the same page, all along, 3–5, 5–10 wrong (?) full of the contradictions of the words. I do not say this in the sense that only I understand this Quran. Open the tafsirs and look. Please, open the tafsirs and look. And see how the people living the leading scenes, the people playing in the leading scenes, again slip in falsehoods with false words.

I ask this of you. Look, that is, research. Actually, if you want to live in the most beautiful way in this world, then to live most beautifully in the hereafter, in the abode of eternal bliss, you need to know Allah's commands in the most beautiful way, so that you may also live the hereafter in the most beautiful way. So that you are ruled by those commands, and with these rulings you too attain Allah's mercy. Otherwise, not with people's borrowed minds — do not follow me either, I say. Allah Almighty gave an intellect. Use this blessing of the intellect. Allah Almighty gave man the intellect in a way that it can understand crooked and straight.

If man's intellect were in a state unable to understand crooked and straight, Allah Almighty too would be given attributes. A person could say: with an intellect You gave me I could not tell crooked from straight. Yes, at one moment a person may take the wrong for right, because he trusts people; because of his trust in those people he may obey him, but please, when he researches, those people know the truth and the right; within this knowledge, as long as people are not carried away by selfish feelings; people carried away by selfish feelings, even if they know the right, at once try to cover the truth with falsehood. Allah protect us. Everyone has a covenant he gave to Allah Almighty, a degree.

A covenant; well, within that covenant is his own destiny. He will play out his destiny, of course.

Who can explain the truth as well as the Prophet (peace be upon him)? Who can put these into people's hearts by inspiration? Still, those who did not come to the right path did not come. Everyone lived his own destiny. Everyone proved himself. Whatever covenant he gave Allah Almighty, whatever he had written into his own destiny, its script he played in the world as an actor and left. Yes. So this is Allah Almighty's being free of deficient attributes.

Even though He sent some verses to the Torah very clearly by the standards of our time, the people of that time had difficulty understanding them. Those ten commandments in the Torah. Well, in Surah Al-Baqarah, in verse 53 that we covered, verse, We gave Moses the Torah and the Furqan that separates truth from falsehood, He declares. Truth and falsehood — how simple the verse is for us. Well, in the Holy Quran, in verse 83 of Surah Al-Baqarah, what is in the Torah, set apart, written: 10 commandments. Yes, that is, these are the 10 commandments. 8 of these 10 commandments are in verse 83 and two are in verse 84.

By sending the Furqan, so that the verses in the Torah are better understood, so that people do not have (?) understanding the verses, He also explained them to people.

10 commandments. In the Psalms a little more. In the Gospel a little more. And in the Quran, since no prophet will come again and He will send no book, at a time when minds come into play, according to the verse in which He says We do not load on people's backs what they cannot bear, He sent the Holy Quran to the people who will come until the Day of Judgement. Every person, in the time of the Prophet (peace be upon him), the people who will come until the Day of Judgement, when they reach the summit of knowledge and science, will (?) the summit in response to the verses of the Holy Quran. Whatever knowledge they rise to, in response they will see the counterpart of the Holy Quran. Then, people who remained within their own understanding in old times, within their own understanding, in this time, within technology and knowledge, are seeing the miracles in Allah Almighty's verses.

As long as a person is knowledgeable, knowledgeable. Knowledge — a whole different knowledge. How beautifully Yunus Emre says: Knowledge is knowing knowledge. Knowledge is knowing oneself. If you do not know yourself, what kind of knowledge is this, he says. First you will know yourself. Then you will try to keep pace with the age and the environment you are in. You will try to be ruled by this knowledge. With this knowledge you will know this knowledge. Technology. You will know the knowledge this age has reached. Now you will leave the superstitions of old ages. Those are superstitions. In the name of our age, your information is old information, superstitions.

A man says it. According to the verse, fresh and salt water do not mix, he would say. Look, two lakes. Both side by side. One bitter, one salty, they do not mix. And he interprets it by reason, of course. Besides, Allah Almighty's good news: in the Strait of Gibraltar, We let loose the two seas side by side. When He says they do not mix, fresh water and salt water, together, without passing into each other, without a barrier, not mixing with each other. Well, many more technologies and sciences: in today's science, that of all living and non-living things the atoms, and within the atoms, with positive and negative electrodes are charged.

Why, in the matter of living and non-living things, in those atoms, are there positive and negative electrodes? Why, as electronic, electron, electrical, electricity, are those electrons and protons (?) present? Do you know the reason for this? The reason is that the whole world, this whole world, living and non-living, a signal emits. Those signals reach Allah Almighty. And Allah Almighty, by that signal of all His creation, anywhere, in this whole universe, in any particle of it, knows the desires and wishes of the events, and their states and movements He (?), He knows. Now no more borrowed- mindedness.

This borrowed-mindedness is over now. Our young people are smart. Our young people, within this mental capacity, our young people, well, one moment,

our young people want proof. Proof. They want proof of everything. Obedience to elders is something else. Obedience to elders is something else. Their love is something else. But falsehoods are something else. Falsehood. Our time wants proof from a person. You will give that proof. If you do not know, you will not speak. And you will not confuse the person in front of you. You will not confuse him. Tell as much as you know. Where you do not know, skip over without putting your finger on it. It will be better for you. That is why in our time, since Allah Almighty created the whole universe with knowledge, the people of our time, the young, the old, now go by that. If they called wood iron, it is iron; they say iron and go on.

And they do not grasp it. They do not grasp many things. There are even some who do not know how to (?) a phone. In this case, for people who believe in old superstitions, falsehoods, lies, their own fabrications, to degenerate the religion of Islam, no one has the right. No one has the right. No one has any such authority to (?) the religion of Islam with falsehoods and superstitions and to tell it like that, and he cannot tell the truth either. He cannot tell superstition, the truth as superstition. No one has the authority for this. That is why, if people, people want to serve Allah, on the subjects they know, within the work they will do, within their skill, they will do their service; within their skill, they will not put their finger on something they do not know.

Yes.

In this case Allah Almighty — when He says We abrogated, see what it says; in this case, when Allah Almighty says We abrogated, some scholars say of Allah Almighty: this verse He removed or changed with such-and-such verse. By saying the ruling of this verse no longer stands, people are dragged into disbelief.

Yes, here we have used a missing word, of course we will correct these; what does it say? In this case, not when Allah Almighty says We abrogated, but into a higher meaning, well, when We changed it in a way you will understand — some scholars say of Allah Almighty: He removed this verse or with such-and-such verse He changed it, the ruling of this verse no longer stands; by saying this people are dragged into disbelief. (?) Because since we wrote it as it came, some things got mixed up with some sentences. It gets mixed up, that is. Yes.

Yes. In this case, Allah Almighty saying We changed it into a higher meaning, some scholars say Allah Almighty removed these verses or changed them with such-and-such verses. By saying the ruling of this verse no longer stands, people are dragged into disbelief. Into disbelief. Why are they dragging people into disbelief here? Why are they dragged? Allah Almighty (?) of deficient attributes. First, it goes against this verse of Allah Almighty: who is truer to His word than Allah? So if a word came out of Allah's mouth, if a word came out, there is no (?) of it again. That is one. That is one. Allah Almighty, the Beloved of the Almighty, (?) and Muhammad (peace be upon him) — if He says he does not speak idly, here this person saying the verse, well, He abrogated, that is, abolished it and put something higher, its better form in a way we understand — attributes qualities to Allah.

Allah could not know the people of the future. That is why He spoke one way before, and now speaks another way.

That is two. Third, people who say He abrogated it like this — and in our time they talk about this: these verses belong to the past, they do not belong to this time, they say.

If you say He abrogated, this man says this too. So, since the Holy Quran came from the Messenger of Allah, until the Day of Judgement every verse, every letter, every dot of it is valid; it is valid. In this case, what does Allah Almighty say in His verse? We sent down the Quran; in a single letter of it there is made neither corruption nor corruption, He says; (?), He says, until the Day of Judgement. How can you say He abrogated it, changed it from here to there, that Allah Almighty did not know, and said these verses like this then, and says them like this now? Well, why what He deemed fitting for that one for this one, why what He did not deem fitting for that one did He deem fitting for this one?

Do you not attribute qualities to Allah Almighty? Was there not the verse that there is not a single living being until the Day of Judgement whose deeds We do not know? Allah Almighty, with the common points of those who will come until the Day of Judgement, informs us. All people are equal in His sight. All people, throughout their lives, throughout their lives, all people are equal in His sight. He makes no distinction among any of them. Are there verses? Of course. My mercy outstrips My wrath, He says. The attribute Rahman. The attribute Rahim is only in the hereafter, for the believer.

Yes.

In this case, Allah Almighty saying We changed it into a higher meaning, saying We changed it,

some scholars say Allah Almighty removed this verse or changed it with such-and-such verses. By saying the ruling of this verse no longer stands, people are dragged into disbelief. Here the meaning of naskh is not that He changed it. Into a higher meaning. That the people of the time will grasp, or that we can grasp. Yes.

Here the meaning of naskh is not that He changed it. Into a higher meaning: that the people of the time will grasp, or that we cannot grasp but the people who come after us will understand — this is how the verses are sent. For example, the Holy Quran was sent in the time of the Prophet (peace be upon him), but those people and those after them remained only in the outward meaning of the Quran. They could not understand that with the progress of science and technology some verses would come to light. In the course of time, with technology, the miracles of the verses come to light. As the human mind develops, the verses show them the way.

This is the changing into a higher meaning. Meaning by meaning. Yes.

Because the Quran addresses its time and the future too. Addressing the future: as I explained above, what we cannot grasp, with time, with the development of technology, the sciences and knowledge, through the people of that time understanding the Quran, Allah Almighty will symbolise the proof of His existence to them too. Now, here a question like this comes to my mind. If the meanings of the Quran had not been changed, meaning by meaning, into a higher meaning, if they had not been, then with the progress of people, the progress of minds, the progress of technology, the progress of knowledge, like the superstitions of old ages, that is, if it had remained in the outward meaning, remained in the outward meaning with its outward superstitions, if it had remained in a single meaning, what would the people of this time say?

That stayed in that time, it is past now, they would say, it is past. In this case the ruling of the Quran would not remain among the people of this time. Just as, sometimes people talk this superstition, this superstition, or talk very ignorantly. What do we say? Out of respect for him, if he is old, well, he knows it that way; do as you know. If you explain it, he does not understand. Since he does not understand, do as you know. That is his capacity. Well, in the face of technology and knowledge that will have advanced so much for future generations, if we had remained in the first meaning of the Quran and this Quran had not been changed meaning by meaning into a higher meaning, what would we have understood?

The future would say the Quran could not (?). That was for past times. Gentlemen, be wise. You — these, these those who are not tasked cannot interpret this Quran. By their own minds. No one can attribute qualities to Allah. No one can attribute qualities to Allah. With his own mind he cannot find a deficiency in Him. If there is a deficiency in Allah, let a person look for it in himself.

By his own measure it is very right. But what he calls right in that tiny mind of his, next to other people's minds, heads towards disbelief. Or it drags the religion of Islam towards these superstitions.

That is why my advice to people is: let them not put their finger where they do not know.

Yes. Addressing the future, as I explained above: what we cannot grasp, with time, with the development of technology, the sciences and knowledge, through the people of that time understanding the Quran, Allah Almighty will symbolise the proof of His existence to them too. If Allah abolished a verse and in its place sent another verse, now we say abrogation? It was abolished. It was abrogated, you know. What did he say? Abrogation. They point to two or three abrogations in the Holy Quran. He abrogated. Well then, gentlemen, that verse's ruling no longer stands.

That verse's ruling no longer stands, Allah forbid. The rulings of the verses are valid until the Day of Judgement. In this case Allah would have contradicted His own word Himself. What does it say? Pay attention. If this were a human fabrication, they would find in it words that do not (?) each other. Yes. When you say He removed this from that, that no longer held that. That word did not hold the other. He would have said too much here. Or He restricted the right of the person there and gave right to the person here. Well, were both not servants of Allah? Why did He do injustice between them?

Like this. This does not fit into those short minds. These do not fit into those short minds. Those people who see themselves somewhere, let them please listen. Let them please listen. Let them learn. Let them learn.

This is not a child's toy. This is not for those with the whims of the nafs, in the passion to be the head. Whoever falls into the passion to be the head, the Prophet (peace be upon him) says, that person loses his own head. This is a hadith. Whoever falls into the passion to be the head loses his own head. Knowledge, Allah's verses, are not a toy. You cannot fit Allah into your own mind and attribute qualities to Him. If you know, you say as much as you know; if you do not know, you keep quiet. You cannot make this up. You cannot (?). But if you had feared Allah with that faith, with that faith, if there is faith, you would not try to fit the Quran into your mind and say lies and falsehoods.

People unaware of themselves, those who earlier brought themselves somewhere with those around them, will see their earlier selves somewhere. Perhaps if it were outside Allah's verses, a person (?), but especially putting on that attribute, when people recall Allah's verses from their own heads, those of them who are advanced in technology and knowledge understand very well that these are (?). They understand very well. Yes. Listen well. I say it again. And I am tasked. I will remove the falsehoods from the religion. As much as I can. I have no authority. As far as Allah permits, it is upon me.

Upon me, as far as my Lord permits, I will explain the truth. Those falsehoods will hit this truth and be turned back. Those who listen, those who listen, will separate truth and falsehood with their own minds. Truth and falsehood.

That is why listen well. Listen well.

If Allah abolishes a verse, if He had sent another verse in its place, Allah Almighty would also be given attributes. From this, a meaning like this could be drawn: Was Allah Almighty perhaps developing His own being too according to people's development? (?) Of course. He removed that. He put that. He saw that the old, or these people coming, let me tell you, who understand, or will look down on Me. That is, this will be lacking for them. He will at once make a change to it. Indeed. He will have developed Himself too. Where then is the saying that until the Day of Judgement not a single living being would come without His knowing of it?

Where then is the saying that when we made the covenant, our desire and wish, our will, became our destiny for ourselves? Does Allah ever make a deficiency? Does Allah ever change that into this, change that verse, and abolish it? Does He abrogate?

O you people who pass yourselves off as scholars, do not believe me. Go and research its origin. Go and (?) you will learn more.

Research, so that you develop yourself too. Yes.

So, to remove such matters, and by making manifest every kind of matter that could come to people's minds, so that people stop asking questions, He made His verses known to people firmly and clearly. Allah Almighty. Firm and clear. There is no further development of it anymore. In response to these words of mine, that is, to the question: was Allah too developing Himself according to people's development? — in response, Allah Almighty declares in His verse: with Us there is a book, preserved in the Preserved Tablet. It has been written by the pure and clean hands of the angels. After that, neither anything is added to it nor taken from it.

O human! Listen well, pay attention to the verse. Before the Quran was even sent, before the master of the two worlds, the Seal of the Prophets, Muhammad (peace be upon him) was sent, before he came into the world, before he honoured it with his presence, the Holy Quran was written with Him, in the Preserved Tablet. If He were going to change it from there, since He could have an extra decision made, He would erase it like us, like this. Look, a moment ago how I had done it from above everywhere; I corrected it almost immediately. Allah Almighty too would have corrected it.

He would not send it to us and say they (?). Think well. Think well. I will erase those falsehoods of yours that are in your minds. I will remove those falsehoods in your minds with verses. I will beat you so well with Allah's verses — I say this to those at the head. Except those who know. I have nothing to say to them. I say it to those who do not know.

I will beat them so with verses, with verses. As Omar said. (?) We are not able to bring anyone to the right path. If we could bring people to the right path, the Prophet (peace be upon him) would have brought his relatives, the Abu Jahls, the Abu Lahabs, to the right path.

What does Allah Almighty say? My beloved, you are going after this matter to the point of destroying yourself. You cannot make the deaf hear. How beautifully He says it. You cannot make the deaf hear. You cannot make the dead hear. Not the dead in the graves. (?) These are the living dead. Yes. We can only explain. Allah Almighty does not call anyone to account for a thing He has not made known. In fact, what does it say? It is not possible, it says, that We destroy a people without sending them a forerunner. Not possible. So if Allah Almighty, look, to remove — to bring out the truth — has raised someone and given him this duty, what is there not to be able to stomach in this?

The Jews too said: was prophethood left to Abu Talib's orphan? Yes. They bragged. Well, is it left to you? Is it left to a person who knows nothing of this religion of Islam or of himself, who judges by his own mind, to explain the verses of the religion of Islam to people? That I am a tasked servant of Allah Almighty hits him in the face like a slap with every word I say. Because there is no mistake. If you can find one, tell me. Listen to me well, research and criticise. While criticising, perhaps you will learn something. I want people to learn. I do not want people to suffer. Allah has given us a mercy.

We pray for all people. We pray for the Muslims, and for the polytheists, the idolaters, the non-Muslims too we say: my Allah, reform these too. We are compassionate and merciful towards Allah's creation.

We insult no one out of our hatred, out of our nafs. We are only against those who, without knowing, want to mix falsehood into Allah's verses.

What does it say? With Us there is a book, preserved in the Preserved Tablet. It has been written by the pure and clean hands of the angels. What does this mean? What does this mean? The pure and clean hands — these angels, programmed by Allah Almighty Himself, angels, that our Lord's word, without in any way changing it, without changing it, has been written letter for letter, they tell us. Well, could He not write it Himself? He could. When giving Moses the ten commandments, at Sinai He sent His angels.

Well, why does He say it like this here? (?) There are also witness angels. They wrote too. They wrote. Perhaps when people are told Allah wrote it, they do not trust it that much. But when it is written by the pure and clean hands of the angels, there is a witness. That is, its Lord had it written. That angel wrote.

Yes.

So saying He abrogated is not to say He removed or changed the verse; it does not mean that. The meaning of the abrogations in the verses is not that they changed, but that they were changed into a higher meaning. How does this happen? We said before that Allah Almighty's word is based on letters. When this letter and another letter come side by side, what kind of formula can form, and which way does Allah Almighty show us? What does He command us to do? This, with Allah Almighty's art of speaking, belongs to Him alone. Look. Pay close attention to what I say.

We said before that Allah Almighty's word is based on letters. When one letter and another letter come side by side, what kind of formula can form? Formula. What formula? There is also the secret of creation here. The wet and the dry are in the Quran. In the words He speaks there is the secret of creation, within these verses. So when which letters of which verse come side by side does one grasp the secret of creation, and what do they mean? For example, we say hydrogen, we say oxygen. We say H2O. Two hydrogens, one oxygen. What did it make? Water came into being. Water. This is the formula. Here too: letters — which letters came side by side, what meaning did they give us, and what kind of formula is in these letters?

This is with Allah. Our minds cannot grasp this. So it opens meaning by meaning; with the letters lined up side by side, degrees of meaning by meaning, the letters rise — for what does the Messenger of Allah say? he says. Every day I used to repent seventy times for my (?), he says. Seventy times. (?) He has given mercy to the worlds. In one day he takes seventy meanings of a verse. This hadith of the Messenger of Allah shows how sublime his being is. It shows that no created being on earth can reach him. How so? Look, how so? Let me tell that too. We, of a verse, perhaps in a month, two months, three months, five months, six months, a year, take one aspect of meaning.

Or we take its second aspect of meaning, or its third meaning. The Prophet (peace be upon him), in a day, of the same verse seventy meanings takes. In the third meaning he sees that he was lacking compared to the second. In the fiftieth meaning he sees that he was lacking compared to the forty-ninth. In the seventieth meaning he sees that he was lacking compared to the sixty-ninth. In whom? In himself. Towards whom? Towards Allah. Not towards people. You perhaps cannot find its second meaning, its third meaning in your lifetime.

This, with Allah Almighty's art of speaking, belongs to Him alone. For this reason, if mankind and jinn gathered, they could not bring the meaning of the like of a verse, He declares. If mankind and jinn gathered, the like of no verse could be brought. I say: Ya ayyuhal-ladhina amanu. Allah Almighty says: Ya ayyuhal-ladhina amanu. O you who believe, it says — the way they are written. And I say: O you who believe. We said it, but between the writing of those letters and the writing of this word I speak there is a difference in the letters. These differences are not possible with the writing of those letters.

They, they, with those words, with those letters, may grasp a secret. Ah, you could say to me: the Arabs speak with the same letters, after all, they understand with the same letters, after all, what does he do? He has memorised it like a parrot, he speaks from the formula of those letters, but unaware of the formula. Unaware of the formula. The meaning of those letters belongs to Allah Almighty alone. How so? Alif, Lam, Mim. What is it? If you go and give this a meaning.

In verse seven of Surah Al Imran it says: only those in whose hearts there is sickness give these a meaning. What was it saying? Let me say it once more. If one gives meaning to letters like Ta-Ha, Ya-Sin, Alif-Lam-Mim, to the disjointed verses, what was it saying, (?): only those in whose hearts there is sickness. They try to give this a meaning, they try to make an interpretation of this. Of it, it says, only Allah knows the meaning. What does this mean? Only Allah knows. You cannot give this a meaning. If you try to give it a meaning, you go towards corruption, discord, interpretation.

As some called us a (?), a (?), so these are the ones heading towards those states. Allah protect us. Since deeds depend on intention, perhaps he said it; we would not use such a (?) for a Muslim.

That is why people's selfish states and states of hatred sink people into the swamp and they do not notice. They must be wise.

To be able to put a person out of the religion, to make him reckon wrongly, a superstition that is not a verse, a superstition, a word that is false in the religion, a word used in a figurative sense, presenting it in the religion, well, as if it were a verse, and calling it Islamic creed — poor wretches.

With this way of speaking they show anyway what kind of people they are.

So if mankind and jinn were gathered, against Allah Almighty's verses, as its like, they could not bring a verse. What is the reason? The reason is those formulas. Those secrets of creation, or meanings layer upon layer. Meanings layer upon layer.

Ours, people's speech, (?). Plain speech. Plain speech. We only express what we have to say. With speech. And under these talks of ours, let me tell you, (?) a formula. Nor anything else.

What was it? Let us remind you of the verse once more. We send down verses, changing them according to the time into a higher meaning, in a way you will understand, for your good. Do you not know that Allah has power over all things?

(?) looking at the sixth verse.

This verse is one of the wrongly interpreted verses, one of them.

How do we understand that it is one of the wrongly interpreted verses? Exactly: the verse has been interpreted like this: If We abolish the ruling of a verse or make it forgotten, We surely bring a better one or one like it. Speaking like this here attributes qualities to Allah Almighty. Until now Allah Almighty has not abolished any of His verses and has not changed the ruling of any of His verses.

If He changed the ruling of a verse or abolished it, please show it from the verses. What do we say? We send down verses, changing them according to the time into a higher meaning in a way you will understand, for your good. What was the meaning here? His changing the verses into a higher meaning. In the first meaning, the way people will first understand it, the second, third, fifth, tenth, on to the seventieth meaning, meaning, meaning it goes. In this way He sends it for people's good. The verses. Yes. As we explained this in our lessons just the other day, well, we start our lesson from where we left off.

What did we say? We said before that Allah Almighty's word is based on letters. When one letter and another letter come side by side, what kind of formula can it reach, and which way does Allah Almighty show us, what does He command us to do? This, with Allah Almighty's art of speaking, belongs to Him alone. For example, we said there are disjointed verses. Like Alif, Lam, Mim, Ta-Ha, Ya-Sin. What meaning do these have? Allahu a'lam. Only those in whose hearts there is sickness try to give them a meaning. Their meaning is Allahu a'lam. In verse 7 of Surah Al Imran, Allah Almighty, about those who give meaning to such verses, has, as you know, a very fine word.

What does it say? Only those in whose hearts there is sickness give these a meaning. Yes.

By these letters coming together He both shows people a way, and Allah Almighty perhaps, with these formulas, the secret of creation, these codes that belong to Him alone, makes known to us too in the Holy Quran, but our minds cannot grasp this. To open those codes, to solve those secrets — our minds cannot grasp this. That belongs to Allah alone. For this reason Allah Almighty declares: if mankind and jinn were gathered, they could not bring the meaning of the like of a verse. If all people united, they could not bring the like of a verse. What is the reason? The reason is that by the letters of the verses coming side by side they take shape meaning by meaning, (?).

Perhaps the secrets of creation become manifest in those verses. Accordingly, Allah Almighty, who sent down about His Beloved, Muhammad (peace be upon him), the verse "he does not speak idly" — those who, saying that in the Holy Quran He sent such-and-such verse was abrogated by such-and-such verse, was changed by such-and-such verse, unknowingly attribute qualities to Allah Almighty should know well that Allah does not fit into people's minds.

What was it? If He says of the Prophet (peace be upon him) that he does not speak idly, those who say He changed such-and-such verse with such-and-such verse, abrogated it, attributing qualities to Allah Almighty, cannot fit Him into their own minds. They attribute qualities to Allah Almighty.

Allah does not fit into people's minds. If Allah Almighty, who created people deficient in mind, fitted into people's minds, He too would be deficient. If I could fully encompass Allah Almighty in my mind, Allah Almighty too would be deficient like me. Because if, despite my being deficient, with my deficient mind I could fully grasp Him, that is, grasp Him with the secrets of creation and who knows what, I too would be a creator in this deficient state of mine. Well, Allah Almighty would be deficient like me. Never, Allah protect us. We are deficient. All the people He created, in mind. Since they were created deficient, in mind, yes, since they were created deficient, of these, well, here a message has come to us, but it is probably coming from Windows.

Yes, it is coming from Windows. Let us remove that.

So Allah Almighty too, never, Allah protect us, would be deficient, so that He would fit into our minds. Of course we grasp Allah Almighty in proportion to our minds. In proportion to our minds. So because we grasp in proportion to our minds, when we put our finger where we do not know, we attribute qualities to Allah Almighty. What is this putting our finger where we do not know? People who are not qualified, who are not tasked and are unaware of the verses, when they try to give the meanings of those verses, since they try to fit Allah Almighty into their minds, interpret the verses according to their own minds and attribute qualities to Allah.

Yes.

Again, people should know this well, and should never forget, that Allah is free of deficient attributes. That is, they must never forget this. And they must know this absolutely so.

If the verses we have interpreted as right by our own minds we show in a single direction, like proverbs, and within that direction say it as it seems right to our minds, we do wrong. We will have attributed qualities to Allah Almighty in a single direction. Whereas Allah Almighty is free of all deficiencies; He, complete and perfect, in such a way that no deficiency is found in any of His words, Allah Almighty makes His words, that is, His verses, known to us. This being free of deficient attributes — so that people, in mind, grasp and perceive it well, they said, so that they can understand well the meanings of Allah Almighty's verses.

Otherwise it is not possible for them to grasp the verses. That is, a person will know: I am deficient; I wonder, is this verse as I understood it? Why do people understand people's words as right and understand them wrongly? That is why, so that His verses can be understood better, Allah Almighty raises scholars and through these scholars shows people the way. If they try to give meaning to the Quran by their own minds, since the human mind was created deficient, in one place they give one meaning, in another place to the same verse yet another meaning. And another verse they explain yet another way, and one day they see that to this verse here this meaning was given, somewhere else another meaning was given; with what they learned they fell into contradiction with different meanings, and (?) it into an inextricable state.

Is it not like that? What does he do? Oh, they had interpreted this verse like this, he says. The meaning is like that. And here this meaning is like this. Now this contradicts that, of course, by his reason. If a person thinks to reflect and also makes a comparison, he will see — of course, for this it takes the competent; only a person of sound mind does this — here something else, here something else; I wonder which is right; aware of the verse, well, a report; he does not know the meaning of the verse; in people, someone wrote this like this, someone wrote it like that; I wonder what meaning there is in this, and the person falls into contradiction.

Then those who give meaning to it too, since in themselves they fall into different meanings, since they give different meanings, get into a dead end, into a crisis within themselves. But how do they save themselves? He gave it like that, this one gave it like that. I said it like this, they say, and pass on without dwelling on it much, but unrest does not let go of their collar.

But, saying surely Allah says this here and says that there, he consoles himself and performs his deeds that way. For this reason, if deeds did not depend on intention, Allah protect us, we would all fall into disbelief. None of Allah's verses contradicts another. If a contradiction is seen, it is the deficiency of our mind and our wrong understanding of the verse. Yes, what was it? If we say in this verse it is like this, in this verse like this, which is right and so on, that is our wrong understanding, through the deficiency of our mind. Never; Allah's verses do not contradict each other. God willing, the matter of abrogation has been understood at least a little in this way, we say.

That is, there is no abrogation in the verses. We continue with the verse. He changes it into a higher meaning; in a way you will understand We send it down for your good. What is meant by "We send it for your good" — according to the verse "We do not will injustice to the worlds" — His showing us the bright path, His not loading on us, according to your time, a burden we cannot bear, His showing us the paths of salvation according to His verses, is of course for our good. The verses go on meaning by meaning, after all; in this way Allah Almighty gives people (?). How so? For example, here, probably this verse, now how He sends it to you for good, we will read, God willing.

Let me look from here. Yes? Yes?

You did it. Sixty-six.

Yes. Yes.

Now, in verse thirty-one of Surah An-Nur, Surah An-Nur, look what it says now, yes, twenty-nine, thirty, Bismillahirrahmanirrahim. Wa qul lil-mu'minina — what does this mean? Wa qul lil-mu'minina: tell the believing women, mu'minina. Here it does not say ya ayyuhal-ladhina amanu. That is, it does not say O you who believe. What does it say here now? One must pay great attention to the verses. Wa qul lil-mu'minina wa qul lil-mu'minat, that is, those mu'minat: tell the believing women. Tell the believing women. Let them guard their eyes from looking at the forbidden. Let them protect their chastity with honour.

Let them not display their adornments, except the parts that show. Let them draw their headscarves over their collars. It goes on like this. Now look at the good in it, how beautiful. (?) tell those mu'minat; wa qul lil-mu'minat: to those believing women say, say to the believing women, well, let them cover their heads. A believer does not uncover her head, after all. That is why the word of Allah Almighty gives life to people. That is, it gives life to the Muslims. He knows that a Muslim woman will uncover her head. He also knows that she will not leave Islam. In this case, if He had said it to those who believe, then the Muslims too, by uncovering their heads, would deny this verse, and so they would become disbelievers.

They would become disbelievers. So Allah Almighty, by saying it with His mercy to the mu'minat, tells the believers too: look, if you uncover your head you become sinful. That is, you do not go into disbelief. Well, you do not become non-Muslim. But (?) does not leave Islam. But when she uncovers her head through the whims of the nafs, that word she thinks is addressed to the mu'minat is in fact a way of speaking that gives life, given to her by Allah Almighty so that she does not become a disbeliever; in this case Allah Almighty, by His speech, tells people that they will (?) and become sinful, and gives people life in this way.

Yes, what did we say? According to the verse "We do not will injustice to the worlds", His showing us the bright paths, His not loading on us, according to our time, a burden we cannot bear, His showing us the paths of salvation according to His verses, is of course for our good. For example, if we give an example according to the time, for your good, according to the verse: when we have to take ablution where there is no water, by doing tayammum we take ablution. There is no water; it gives us life.

(?) Let us learn tayammum here all together too. What did we say? What did we say? To take ablution. We strike our hands (?), that is, on the earth. After shaking them against each other like this, we open our left palm. From the back of our right hand we bring it like this up to our elbow. Then we turn our arm like this. We bring it out from inside our palm. This time the other hand: the back, that is the outer part, of our left hand, from the inner part of our right palm, again up to our elbow. Again we turn our arm like this. We bring it out here. Again we strike our hands on the ground. Like this, after (?), we wipe our face.

We are then in a state of ablution.

Why is ablution so valuable? Why, when we cannot find water for ablution, does He make us perform it by dry ablution with earth? What is the wisdom in these?

In the air there is always static electrification.

As long as a person does not touch the ground, when he walks, static electrification forms in the human body. This drives a person into stress, haste, unrest. Because a person also produces a (?) electricity. What does it do with excessive electrification? The person falls into stress. Into excitement, into haste. Unrest begins in the person. For example, have you ever noticed? Behind petrol tankers like this there is a piece of iron dragging on the ground. So, its going through the air, its moving on the ground, what the tyres have stored — since the tankers do not touch the ground, static electrification forms, and this with a slight spark explodes, Allah protect us.

That is why they make them touch the ground. They have the static electricity on them discharged into the earth. So a person too gives off this static electrification either with water, with ablution, by touching the ground in that way, or, where there is no water, in order to take ablution, by touching the ground discharges this static electrification into the ground. So Allah protects your body. Go on now, do not take ablution if you like. If you do not take ablution, you fall into such stress, become restless, then excitement comes, then that whole body is left open to germs. The beauty of Islam. That Allah protects the human body, too, (?) ablution.

Yes.

We continue. We continue.

Yes. Here, this that we described, well, the way of taking ablution, the way of tayammum, we have explained. The moment we find water our ablution is broken, we said. So these are Allah's rulings, by way of ease for people according to the time. According to the time where you are, according to that place, they are Allah's rulings over people. Do you not know? Allah has power over all things, it says. In the verse, the heavens and the earth — let us correct that part. We also said we will always line some things up like this. Yes, go on.

Go on like this.

Go on. Allah, who created what is between them, is not (?) from His creation.

We explained it before too. When the time comes like this, it is useful for us to repeat it. In the atoms of all matter, well, magnetic or anti-magnetic matter, there are neutrons and protons, that is, positively and negatively charged nuclei, that is, electrodes. As these electrodes turn around their own axes, even though we do not hear it, they make a sound. What does it say? The heavens and the earth and what is between the two know the remembrance of their Lord. What meaning comes out of this? Allah Almighty, by making His creation remember Him, has proven that there is no god but Allah. Just as a factory produces a product, stamps its symbol on it, and it belongs to that factory.

So the heavens and the earth and what is between the two, whatever exists from the globe to the atom, remember Allah. That is one. Second, as these turn around their own axes they emit a signal. Those signals, frequencies, are programmed to Allah Almighty. If there were a desire, a wish, a stirring in any particle of the universe, our Lord perceives these desires and wishes through these signals. And there He becomes aware of them. There is no place outside His view of which Allah Almighty would be unaware. Our Lord created the universe with knowledge. With knowledge. There is no superstition. There is no superstition.

Yes.

Allah, who created the heavens and the earth and what is between them, is not separate from His creation. And this is (?) with the verses we have mentioned. So, since Allah is aware of what we do, our deeds to our intention He has tied. He knows in what way, with what aim we carry out an act. Allah Almighty declares: since We know your intentions, We tie the acts you do to your intentions. Deeds depend on intention. There is no created being that can deceive Allah or do anything without His knowing. This is not possible. It is for this reason that He declares Allah has power over all things. He has brought everything under His rule.

If mankind and jinn united, they could not harm Allah. All that He created, everything from the atom to the globe, is under our Lord's rule, within His power.
