Translation

Just as We have sent to you a Prophet from among you who reads Our verses, purifies you from sins, teaches you the book, and informs you about the rulings on permissible and forbidden things that you do not know about.

Tafsir

Since Allah (swt) sent people to the realm of the unseen, He sent a prophet from among us, a human being, out of His Mercy. Without sending a prophet, we should have known Allah (swt) with the intellect He gave us. But people became more interested in the world and forgot their Lord. Therefore, out of His Mercy, He sent messengers to mankind so that you may know your Lord.

It is Allah's mercy on mankind that He has sent prophets as His Mercy to inform us how to perform our worship, sent Books to inform us how to reach Mercy, and purified us from evil through the recitation of verses, so that we can know Allah (swt).

Humans are by creation in need of learning and education. This is because people are mentally incomplete. With their incomplete intellectual creation, people cannot see what lies ahead. They make incomplete decisions and do wrong things. They pity their own souls by turning to bad ways. People who are created in need of learning and education are also educated by their Creator. In this respect, by sending us Prophets and Books from among ourselves, Allah (swt) prevents us from evil and guides us to mercy and guidance. Our Lord completes His blessing upon us.

What is said in the video

To a verse of His.

Just as, from among yourselves, one who recites Our verses to you, purifies you from evils, teaches you the Book and wisdom, and what you did not know teaches you, We sent a Messenger, He says. How beautiful. What is it? Let's read this once more: Just as from among yourselves, that is, as human beings, whatever you are, We send you a prophet as that. To angels, from angels; to humans, from humans He sends. Just as, from among yourselves, one who recites Our verses to you, purifies you from evils, teaches you the Book and wisdom, and teaches you what you did not know, We sent a Messenger, He says.

And who were the scholars? The scholars were the heirs of the prophets. Well, don't these heirs say the same thing too? To purify you from evils, don't they want the reform of your nafs? Don't they cleanse you of superstitions and turn you to Allah's verses? So although this verse of Allah Almighty is addressed to the Prophet (peace be upon him), the verse will keep its ruling until the Day of Judgment. Because Allah Almighty sent people to the world of the unseen, out of His mercy to people, He sent a prophet from among ourselves, that is, a human. Even without sending people prophets, with the intellect He gave, knowing Allah Almighty would have been required of us. But people grew attached to the world and forgot their Lord.

Therefore, out of His mercy, He sent prophets to people so that your Lord you may know.

Had He wished, with the intellect He gave us, without sending a prophet, we would have had to find our own way through that intellect and know our Lord. So, in a world of the unseen, Allah Almighty saw us as weak and said: I will make My being known to you there. So: you did not make (?) being known to me. That is why He addresses people with His verses. So that we can know Allah Almighty: through the prophets our Lord sent as mercy, by sending books, making known to us how our worship is to be done, how we will reach mercy; through the reciting of the verses, purifying us from evils; this is Allah Almighty's mercy upon people.

This is a (?) mercy. Yes.

People, by their creation, of learning and education are in need. Indeed, we put our children in schools, we educate them, teach them; to read Arabic, to read the Quran, we send them to teachers. They need constant education. Because people were created deficient in intellect. Being created deficient in intellect, people cannot see fully ahead. They make incomplete decisions, do faulty things. By resorting to the bad paths they turn to, they wrong their own souls. People created in need of learning and education are, by the Creator too, educated. That is, not only by humans. So educated by Allah Almighty too.

And until the Day of Judgment such people will appear among them. Like Hazrat Uways al-Qarani, from that school, that school, it will continue. Why? Since no prophet will come again, Allah Almighty will not leave the worlds without knowledge. From whom will He teach? From whom? Not from those who studied to a certain level and from one another superstitions learned. So Allah Almighty, faithfully, in a way that settles every kind of question people have, will raise scholars. These scholars will raise people. They will hold a light before them. (?) And these people, by themselves, superstitions too, by removing them, to people, with verses, will give life. To people, with Allah's verses.

Yes.

They make incomplete decisions, do faulty things; by resorting to the bad paths they turn to, they wrong their own souls. People created in need of learning and education are, by the Creator too, educated. Therefore, by sending us prophets and books from among ourselves, Allah Almighty keeps us from evils and leads us to mercy and guidance. Our Lord completes His favor upon us.

So Allah Almighty, from among ourselves, from people, scholars raises. Don't forget this. These people's speech does not resemble what outward people say. And it never goes outside the Sharia. Those deficient in intellect, those who see themselves in a certain position, saying I live the Sharia, the verses they misunderstand, and by superstitions being bound, they act outside the ruling of the Sharia. As if it were Sharia. In fact it is not Sharia at all. For example, like what?

Like those who make the hadiths (?) and swallow them. Outside the Sharia. Like the way they misunderstand the verses. Allah puts whom He wishes into paradise and whom He wishes into hell. Those who say this and ascribe attributes to Allah, are they now bound by the Sharia?

What was Allah? Free from deficient attributes. This is the Sharia too: to clear Allah of deficient attributes. Well, now you have ascribed attributes to Allah; is this Sharia? But if deeds were not tied to intention, we would hardly have escaped.

That is why I say,

people who gather others around them, at a certain level, learn the truth for Allah's sake.

Let us learn the truth.

Yes.
