By then, the ones following the leaders of disbelief will see that those they were following hurriedly distance themselves (from the followers). (By then) they all have seen the punishment and the bond between them has severed.
Tafsir
On the Day of Reckoning, when they see that punishment, they will realize that Allah's promise is true, and the leaders of disbelief will quickly move away from those who follow them. The bonds they had with each other will have been shattered and broken.
When the love of disbelief takes root in a person's heart. When he renounces this love and submits to the Verses of Allah (swt), it causes anguish to his soul. But when they see the real suffering in the eternal world, their regrets will not benefit them. As a matter of fact, if they were to come back to this world not once but several times, they would still commit the same deeds. Because that is what they wanted and that is what they pledged to Allah. Even though they heard Allah's commands, they could not separate from their ego. Since their desires and wishes were similar to those of the people who rebelled against Allah, they could easily harmonize with each other. As for their repentance on the Day of Judgment, they will blame the crimes on each other and pity themselves as in the world, thinking that there is hope of salvation. They are still unable to comprehend the greatness of Allah and His attributes. Although Allah (swt) knows what is in their hearts, these people think that Allah (swt) does not understand what is in their hearts. In this respect, if you bring these people into the world not once but several times more with their repentance, those characters will still commit the same deeds in the world according to that desire and will.
Therefore, they are the inhabitants of eternal Hell. The ties between them and the pioneers of disbelief will be severed and they will all be scattered on one side and will be condemned to eternal punishment as Allah (swt) declares in His verse. May Allah protect us from such a situation.
What is said in the video
Surah Al-Baqarah, verse 166. At that time, those who followed the leaders of disbelief will see that those whom they followed and obeyed have quickly moved away from them. They have all seen that punishment, and the ties between them have been torn apart and broken. Who are these leaders of disbelief? You know, those who, with their money, their wealth and property, play the master; those who say, of all things, was prophethood left to Abu Talib's orphan, you know; those who, ignoring the words of those who have no wealth or property but are saints, mock them, you know; those two-legged taghuts who live outside the religion of Islam, you know; these are the leaders of disbelief.
These, on the Day of Judgment, before Allah Almighty,
after their account is settled at the Supreme Court and they are driven into hell,
those leaders of disbelief will try to quickly separate from those who followed them. We will see it in later verses too. We followed you, they will say. We followed you, we obeyed you. Now will you take some of the punishment off us? they will say. To that they will say: we had no superiority over you, they will say. Further on, in the (?). Well, we told you, you followed us. Allah told you too; if only you had followed Him, it says. Yes. On the Day of Judgment, on the day of reckoning, when they see that punishment, they will understand that Allah's promise is true, and the leaders of disbelief will quickly move away from those who followed them.
You know, those who in the world, with a passion for being chief, with pride and arrogance ruled over those who wanted to follow them, will be ashamed before them. And in that shame, in a disgraceful state; so here too is a humiliating punishment. They will immediately move away from them.
The ties between them will also be torn to pieces and broken. You know, who are those who drew strength from one another in the world? Those outside the religion of Islam. And within their restless lives, these people who (?) let themselves be caught by every kind of affliction, wretched people who try to stay on their feet by drawing strength from one another, will not find that strength there either; they will be torn apart and separate. Once love of disbelief takes root in a person's heart, giving up this love and submitting to the verses of Allah Almighty causes the person's nafs suffering.
Yes.
Why does it cause the person's nafs suffering?
The nafs in no way submits to it in line with Allah's command. It was created so. Why was it created so? It was created such that man will (?), will take, will get eager, will feel, let me say, always carve out for himself like this. I mean, he will roam about, move from place to place, have intercourse and reproduce. It is equipped with these ailments. So the sovereignty of the spirit over it, bringing it under its command. The nafs. For it to bring it under its command: since in the address of Elest-i Rabbiküm, when it made the covenant with Allah Almighty, it gave Allah Almighty a good covenant and had good characters written for itself, it brings that nafs under its rule.
So of the spirit: We, from you, those spirits, Allah Almighty creating them and making the covenant. Look, He does not make the covenant with the nafs. Not with the life-soul, with the spirits. Spirit, nafs and life-soul are one. (?) In this case, since Allah Almighty created the nafs this way, and people who, being with their nafs, denied Allah there and with their own pride and arrogance expect the Lord of their own fancies, in the face of Allah's commands, a suffering they feel. The nafs rebels against this. Yes. So submitting to Allah's commands causes the person's nafs suffering. But when they see the real suffering in the eternal realm, their regret will be of no use to them.
Why will their regret be of no use? Well, their regret there too is a made-up regret. That is, they will supposedly deceive Allah still. They will look like regret, look as if they regret. In fact they will not be regretful. What does Allah Almighty say? If only they knew this, He says. If only they knew the punishment there. If only they knew Me here.
Just as the Muslims who rebel against Allah Almighty, going as Muslims, will go to hell. But since he went to that hell with the light of faith, there the person's faith will reach perfection and he will come out of that hell and go on to paradise. But when these go as disbelievers, since they have no light of faith, no faith, since their characters, the state of absolutely not knowing Allah, they had written for themselves as character, since they wait for the Lord of their own fancies, since they neither trust nor believe in Allah, their nafs never reaches perfection. For this reason their regret will never benefit them.
How beautiful. Always in the light of the verses; indeed, even if they came to the world not once but several more times, they would again do the same thing; so why does their regret not help? This realm, that is, the realm of the hereafter, will close, and in this realm they will again do the same thing. Well, Hodja, Allah was the Owner of mercy, what would it matter if He had, well, brought these to perfection there too. If He had brought them to perfection. Isn't His mercy abundant? Now look.
Allah Almighty says, I will create a being such that, without My programming it in any way, that being, within its own being, will know Me. This is very important. So within these spirits He created there is knowing their Lord and not knowing Him. So, already there, among what Allah Almighty created, in proportion to this will, among these spirits He created, people who knew their Lord and gave Him fine covenants, and the one who created them, and those who deny the one who created them, the ingrates, can those and these who know be the same? So Allah Almighty says, can those who know and those who don't know be equal?
What does it say in the verse? Had We willed, We would have created you as a single community. He would create. He would have created all of us in the same (?) form. But what did He say? We will create such a being that this is the peak of the art of creating. The peak. It will have itself programmed by Me, by itself. According to its wishes and desires it will have its own destiny written and prove what kind of person it is.
Indeed, to this question I asked, you know, 'has He no mercy, if He had created them so and taken them out of hell too', Allah Almighty, with the verse 'had We willed, We would have created you as a single community', He says. But which of you is superior to which, so as to make you witnesses against yourselves, He says, We created death and life, He says. Life. In this case, our spirits He created, our spirits; within our spirits, way back at the beginning, Ahmet, Mehmet, Hasan, Hüseyin knew, Agop, Magop (?) denied, and everyone's wish, as destiny, was written for him. Now the matter is settled.
Accordingly, paradise and hell were created. In the world, prisons were created too. Were made. Not created, made. For whom? For criminals.
In freedom, look, you are walking around in paradise. No one interferes with you. Within the laws of the state. As long as you don't step outside the laws of that state, paradise, freedom, is in your hands. If you walk within Allah's law too, eternal paradise for you. What you call paradise is Allah's mercy. What He calls hell is His prison, a place of punishment. Yes, so there, for them, their regret will be of no use, because their characters were given that way according to their own wishes and desires; when they come to this worldly realm they will again do the same thing; those places will close for them.
The same characters will emerge. In this case they will be people of hell forever.
Yes, because they wished their aims so and gave their covenant to Allah so. Although they heard Allah's commands, they did not part from one another. Don't they hear? They hear. Still, unable to accept the life of the religion of Islam that weighs on their nafs, they try to live their own pleasures and amusements.
Since their wishes and desires are like one another's, they could easily get along with one another. Their regret on the Day of Judgment, meanwhile: throwing the blame on one another, making themselves pitied as in the world, they think there is hope of salvation. They will deceive Allah.
Still they could not grasp Allah's majesty and His being free of deficient attributes. Although Allah Almighty knows what passes through their hearts, these people think Allah Almighty cannot understand what passes through their hearts. For this reason, with their regret, even if you brought these people not once but several more times into the world, those characters, by that wish and desire, would again in the world do the same thing.
For this reason they are people of hell forever. As Allah Almighty made known in the verse, between the leaders of disbelief and themselves the ties will be broken; all of them, scattered on one side, condemned to eternal punishment they will be. May Allah protect us all from such a state. Yes.
