Translation

Shaytan only orders you to commit evilness, shamelessness and to say things against Allah that you do not know about.

Tafsir

Satan is the enemy of human beings. He caused our father Adam to be expelled from paradise. He rebelled against Allah (swt) because he put his own existence above human beings and could not tolerate the value Allah (swt) placed on human beings. In this respect, he is hostile to people by giving them misguidance in their hearts in order to mislead them and lead them to injustice in the sight of Allah.

O man! Can one follow such an enemy and follow his path? Can man take him as a friend? With your creation as an equal in the sight of Allah, with your being addressed to the Essence of Allah, with your being the caliph of the earth, with your having a soul that is a part of your Lord, with such a sublime creation, with your great value in the sight of Allah, would you take the temptation of an angel, would you value him, would you follow him? Would you drag yourself to destruction by cooperating with such an angel who is an enemy of Allah?

Allah (swt) warns us and says, 'Do not pay attention to his temptation, for he does not advise you good.

Satan only commands people to do evil and immorality. He makes the prohibitions of Allah (swt) seem attractive to people. He invites people to rebellion against their Lord. In one of the verses, Allah (swt) says, "Satan's temptation is ignorant to my servant who knows me". So let us listen to the Ayat of Allah (swt) and judge by them, so that we are not influenced by the temptations of Shaytan.

What is said in the video

Surah Al-Baqarah, verse 169. Satan only commands you to evil, to shamelessness, and, about Allah, things you would not know to say, he commands. Things about Allah Almighty that we do not know he commands by insinuation. He said it like this, you see. People, if there is faith, people get distressed too, fall into depression.

If there is no faith, they fall into disbelief.

Satan (?) you, it says; with feelings of the nafs he shows you justified angles; since you have no knowledge, you tag along after Satan. Today someone tells me, on one of the televisions, a woman came out and says there is no headscarf in the Holy Quran. If there had been a headscarf, one of the pillars of Islam would also have been the headscarf, she says. One of the pillars of Islam. What can you say? Poor person. Truly poor. I was very naughty as a child; my late mother would say to me, son, you've found a village without dogs and you walk around without a stick, she'd say. I was very naughty, mischievous.

These too have now found a village without dogs and walk around without a stick.

Now first, to this person, this person, answering whether there is a headscarf in the Holy Quran or not, and then let me tell you about this person's state. First let me read this. Surah An-Nur, verse 31. The verse, look how it begins.

Qul lil-mu'minat. Mu'minat: women. If it had said qul lil-mu'minin: men. Now, it addresses women. What does it say? Tell the believing women too: let them guard their eyes from looking at the forbidden. Let them protect their honor and chastity. Except the visible parts. What are the visible parts? From the eyebrows to the chin, from the wrists to the (?) bones she will cover. What lies outside these will be visible. These are excepted;

the visible; let them guard their eyes from the forbidden, protect their honor and chastity, and, except for the visible parts, not display their adornments. What is it? Allah Almighty creates woman as an adornment, an adornment. For this reason they are an adornment. Adornment.

Let them draw their headscarves over their collars. Headscarf (?)? Here Allah Almighty says it Himself. What does He say? Let them draw their headscarves over their collars.

Now, since, to that poor person who says there is no headscarf in the Quran, and to those who, when one says Allah, say 'Allah is not to be talked about here', to the managers of that dajjal television, who throw out whoever says Allah, I am now speaking. Who created you?

To the One who created you, even if you owned (?), even if all these creations were at your command, still Allah you could not reach. Nor could you harm Him. Since our return will be to Him, I now call out to such poor people.

To such poor people. What have you gone after?

If Satan is a clear enemy to you, aren't you ruining your own self? Your Lord, to you, what does He say? He is a clear enemy to you. If you deify your nafs, according to the verse 'your return is to Me', if only they knew, it says, what an evil place of return that is, it says. Where is that evil place of return, which He calls 'what an evil bed it is'? Hell. Well, if a thousand years here are like one day of the hereafter, though within a 60-70-year lifetime here you live a life of about an hour and a half, yet, if you sell this hour-and-a-half life of yours to the life that is eternal, that never dies again, you are not clever, you are the fool of fools.

When Hazrat Jonah fled his people, saying, am I to explain my trouble to people like you, he says, Allah Almighty casts him into the sea. The fish carries him forty days in its belly or on its back, and he falls ill. What does he say? La ilaha illa anta subhanaka inni kuntu minaz-zalimin. O Allah, he says, I have wronged myself, forgive me. When he asks for pardon and forgiveness, He brings him out. He makes a plant of the gourd kind grow; he eats of its fruits, and its leaves shade him, he recovers, and when he returns to the head of his people, his people become Muslim. Hazrat Jonah's, well, the commands Allah Almighty made known they observe. Now, this poor woman who says there is no headscarf, to this poor woman who says if there were a headscarf in the Quran, one of the pillars of Islam would be the headscarf too: Allah Almighty forbade gambling, let it be one of Islam's pillars. He forbade adultery, let it be one of Islam's pillars.

He forbade interest, let it be one of Islam's pillars. Oh, blessed woman. And poor person.

Allah Almighty has set out the article. First you will become a Muslim. Islam. What is this? You will say the shahada. What is the shahada? Ashhadu an la ilaha illallah. I bear witness that there is no god but Allah. Wa ashhadu anna Muhammadan abduhu wa rasuluh. Hazrat Muhammad is His servant and Messenger. After you say it, prayer for you. Hajj, zakat, fasting are made obligatory. Then within Islam there are your Lord's legal rulings, articles. You are obliged to carry out those articles, those commands.

There are law books. Now I call out to this poor woman. There are law books. It says, in the law there is such and such an article. It sets out the law first. Then paragraph A is this, paragraph B that, paragraph C this, paragraph D that. It lists them like this. Within that article. And, poor woman, these are the paragraphs within Islam. Your Lord's legal rulings, commands to you. First you will be a Muslim. You will carry out your duties within being Muslim. No, there is no headscarf, she says. If there were a headscarf, one of the pillars of Islam would be the headscarf. Look at this poor soul.

I once gave an example. Let me give that example again.

As the sheep jumped over the stream, its tail went up and its backside showed. The goat laughed. Your backside showed; and the sheep said, well, yours always shows, it said. These have uncovered the patch on their backsides, put their shame fully on display, and so as to be able to cover these shames they (?) to the religion of Islam, and, with the temptation Satan gives, make their nafs think itself right, and in this way boasting among their own supporters, deifying their nafs, carrying on with their lives, tasting a little pleasure of the world, in the realm of the hereafter, well, (?), bringing their own self to ruin.

Dragging it to destruction. Now is this reasonable? Is this an intelligent person? What did we say? Such people are the fools of fools. So, hey man, never be fooled by the words of such people. They are truly Satan's playthings. Just as Satan is cursed, a cursed being, these are his playthings. Would you become a slave to the cursed Satan? Ha, the words of those who became slaves, who became slaves. So would you count this one as a person? And would you listen to his words? Ha, if you listen, it will please your nafs too, and toward that direction you will have an attitude of turning; so I say, take care of yourself.

Yes. Surely one cannot speak more plainly than this.

What does it say? Satan commands you only to evil, shamelessness, and to say about Allah things you would not know. So he makes such people uncover their heads. Then he makes them display their adornments. Then he strips them stark naked. Look what Allah Almighty says in the verse: Let not Satan strip you. In the verse. Let not Satan strip you. We will come to those. We will come. So if you, today uncover your head, and tomorrow display to people the beauty He created as adornment, trample your own honor and dignity,

according to the verse 'everyone's earning is the return of his own two hands', you will have ruined your own self.

I say, O person who speaks this way: Allah Almighty gave you a treasure of life; this treasure will never come into your hands again. Allah Almighty is Ghafur and Rahim. Look what the Prophet (peace be upon him) says: even if your sins reached the clouds in the sky, when you repent with a sincere heart, he says, Allah Almighty turns it into a good deed. And I say to you, (?), come and make your repentance, return to Allah, return to the One who created you, so that you may attain this forgiveness. Otherwise, as long as you deliberately deny a verse, you become a disbeliever. By saying of this verse that the headscarf is not in the Quran, you become a disbeliever, you leave the religion of Islam.

But if you say it deliberately you are truly a disbeliever, if you say it deliberately. If not, if you followed Satan and it pleased your nafs and you spoke an ignorant word, repent. Repent, ask Allah for pardon and forgiveness.

Yes. Satan is the enemy of people. Having explained this much, we continue. He caused our father Adam to be expelled from paradise. Since he held his own existence above people, the value Allah Almighty gave man he could not bear, and rebelled against Allah. For this reason, to lead people astray and drag them into wrongdoing before Allah, he puts whispers in people's hearts and is hostile to people.

O man! Is such an enemy to be followed and his path taken? What did I say earlier? Of the person who follows the footsteps of a cursed Iblis and accepts him as a guide over himself, and who is the slave of that cursed Iblis, should his words be valued? Is such a man to be made a friend? With your creation as the noblest of creatures in Allah's sight. Why the noblest of creatures? Of His spirit, which He gave to none in the universe, He gave only to man. For this reason, man, and laqad khalaqnal-insana fi ahsani taqwim. I created man in the finest form, He said.

By being held addressee of Allah's Being, by being the caliph of the earth, by possessing a spirit that is a part from your Lord, with such a lofty creation, by having great value in Allah Almighty's sight, would you take seriously the Accursed One's temptation, would you value it, follow him?

Would you, cooperating with such an Accursed One who is an enemy to Allah Almighty, drag yourself to destruction? This world is temporary. What does our Lord declare?

Paradise and hell are everlasting. The realm of the hereafter is everlasting. Surely these realms will one day perish entirely. The Hour will come. If you say there is no Allah, you completely put your ignorance on display. Because today technology has proven that these realms were created with knowledge, that everything proceeds in order and harmony, and that it has a Creator. If you still say there is no Allah, you deceive yourself. Because before you were subject to that address of Elest-i Rabbiküm, in that realm of Lahut, when our Lord created our spirits, when He said I am your Lord, your given (?), the intellect He gave to the spirit He gave.

You know that you were created by a Lord. However much you say there is no Allah and deny, you are trying to deceive yourself. Because Allah Almighty, as Creator, look what He says. Those who rebel against Allah, you know, they will not see their Lord, He says. Their Lord. But some of those poor people say: they will be gathered blind and sightless, it says.

Some others say this verse is (?) that Allah Almighty will be seen in paradise, they say. Both are talking nonsense here. So the Supreme Court is abolished, that is. No one can see Allah. But Allah Almighty had made a covenant. That is, was a covenant made with someone unseen?

So what is the meaning of this verse? No, there is no god but Allah. Let them see the one who created them. It symbolizes tawhid, tawhid. All the verses confirm one another. So, his Lord, whom he saw as near to him, the Lord man pictured in his own imagination, he awaited. For this reason he turned his back on Allah. So what does the verse say? My Beloved, do not mind their denying you. In their time they too betrayed Me, He says. Where? In the address of Elest-i Rabbiküm. That is why, He says, the Lord of their fancy that they await does not exist. Let them see that Lord. They are still in that mentality.

For this reason they ascribe partners to Allah. They ascribe partners to Allah. When these enter hell, there too, as they see the punishment, their grudge against Allah Almighty will (?), and that Lord of their fancy they await will come, and they will take revenge on Allah.

What are we saying? Our Lord who shows man the way so much, Allah Almighty who so openly, outwardly proves His existence, against Him how can man follow a nafs, follow the footsteps of a Satan, and rebel against the One who created him? Truly, this is not the work of a person who uses his intellect. That is why Allah Almighty says, do you never use your intellect? Do you never reflect? Do you never think, He says. Yes.

Yes. By cooperating with an Accursed One who is an enemy to Allah Almighty, would you load destruction upon yourself, we say. So Allah Almighty warns us: never heed his temptation. Because he does not recommend good to you. (?)

In this case, a person, when Satan's temptation comes to his heart, with the intellect Allah Almighty gave man understands that it is ignorant. How does he understand? He understands by the verse. Look what it says: Satan's temptation to My servant who knows Me is ignorant, it says. What is it? The temptation Satan gives to the servant who knows Allah is ignorant. In this case, knowing with the intellect Allah Almighty gave man that it is an ignorant temptation from Satan, of his life, sensing that Satan's command will harm him, understanding that it will go against his Lord's commands, the person: what sort of nafs does he have, that, overpowering his intellect and pushing it aside, with the whim his nafs gives him, he is a person following Satan's footsteps.

Allah Almighty, aduwwallahi wa aduwwakum, your enemies and Allah's enemies, in the verse where He says this, who are your enemies, my enemy? Satan, my nafs, and then the world, my enemy; the world looks attractive to me, I gather without asking lawful or forbidden. In return, the Prophet (peace be upon him) says, my community will divide into three parts, he says. The first, even if (?) there is not even breakfast, says (?) Allah. He trusts in Allah who gives that provision, he says. The second gathers from the lawful. For him there is a fine reckoning, he says. What fine reckoning? When your neighbor went to bed hungry and you went to bed full, did you think of his state?

Did you help your spouse, your friends? When your relative was hungry, thirsty, did you reach out to that relative? Did you help an orphan, a stranded traveler? Did you serve Allah's religion? Fine reckoning. Even though he gathered lawfully, for instance. The third gathers without asking lawful or forbidden. For him there is a painful punishment, he says.

In this case man does not use his intellect. With the whim the nafs gives man, although his intellect shows that person the right and he sees it, from his nafs's grandeur, being not with his intellect but with his nafs, the person who follows Satan's footsteps.

For this reason these work together with Satan. Indeed, when he goes further, even Satan moves away from him. Satan.

Once upon a time a man withdrew to a mountain. This is a parable, of course. A parable.

Of the ascetics; whatever Satan did, he could not deceive him. What does he do? To a woman he says, if you deceive this man, I will buy you red shoes. Red shoes. He takes human form. The woman comes to that ascetic. She appears to him the way he would want. Then she uncovers a little, lets herself go. He marries her. That woman had a husband. She has him kill her husband. And, after making the man a murderer, the woman comes to the place where she would meet Satan. I did what you said, she says. Give me, she says, my shoes. Satan says, let me give them to you, he says. From the tip of this stick, he says.

Take your shoes. From the tip of the stick. And don't come near me, he says.

So even more astray in his course is man. Yes. So just as Satan never commands man the truth, in the end he never commands you to stand on the path of truth. Satan commands people only to evil and shamelessness. And today many people, after this evil, after the shamelessness Satan commands people, have stripped stark naked; the more naked, the higher they look to people; indeed those who compete in nakedness become stars on televisions; do you know what these are stars of? Stars of filth and affliction; stars of disbelief, these; of disbelief; Allah Almighty does not even accept their zakat. If a Muslim's zakat is not accepted, you cannot call him a Muslim.

Because the Muslim has five pillars. After saying the shahada, what will you do? You will keep your fast, perform your prayer, well, go on your hajj, give your zakat. If Allah Almighty does not accept your zakat, what kind of Muslim is this?

If Allah Almighty had accepted their zakat, He would have proven that money earned through filth is lawful. Allah Almighty forbids this.

So, saying I am Muslim, saying I give zakat, when you say I do good works, if you display Islam's disbelief, to Islam, that is, not Islam's disbelief but your own disbelief, if you display it, and moreover stain Islam saying 'this is Islam's', and the behavior Islam does not want you set as an example to people, an example to those Muslims, and make them envy you, you are a two-legged taghut.

Do you know what a taghut is? Perhaps you haven't heard of that either. It is Satan, Satan. At the same time, a two-legged taghut is a human devil. Just as he is cursed, if you are a two-legged taghut, you too, as the slave of that cursed one, are a person following that path in its footsteps. I speak openly, I fear no one. I am saying Allah's verses. Apart from this, show me, apart from these verses, that these are true, show me, and I will give up my turban, give up my robe, and repent to Allah too. These are our Lord's commands.

So never envy nakedness. With Satan and the nafs working together, being your enemy, what does it say? Aduwwallahi wa aduwwakum. What is it? Your nafs, Satan and your world; those who are stark naked for the world, to satisfy their nafs's whim and grandeur, who let their honor and dignity be used in people's hands like rags, who turn their backs on Allah's command and, well, with these carry on, people who follow the same idea.

These are the leaders of disbelief in Islam, of disbelief.

So the nafs is the enemy. To you, to yourself. Your own enemy. But my Lord, beside it, (?) to you will defeat them. Look how beautiful. Against those three enemies He gives three friends. The first is your intellect.

Although your intellect shows you the right, your nafs and Satan overpower your intellect. You push your intellect aside. The second is faith. With faith you know this is sin and disbelief. You push that aside too. The third is inspiration. Inspiration from your Lord. You push that aside too, you side with the enemies. So if you take your place where Allah does not want, against Islam, among the people who lead disbelief in Islam you enter.

And you ruin your own self. Isn't it a pity? Will you be able to find this life again? And you,

for a one- or two-hour worldly life, leaving the eternal abode of bliss, for the one- or two-hour pleasure of here, would you abandon your hereafter? Now I ask you, a splinter got stuck in your hand, what pains to get it out; you writhe in those pains. You leave no doctor, no, let me say, pharmacist untried. You keep (?). Such a splinter, a splinter. Well, how will you repair that punishment of hell? Do you ever think about this? Well now, if you feel yourself intelligent, is this intellect, intellect?

Think well.

Your head, take it between your hands and think. Don't ruin yourself. Lest you say, O Allah, You should have sent people who would make me (?) with Your verses. Allah Almighty does not call anyone to account for what He did not make heard.

Use your intellect. Give up leading disbelief. Stay clear of Satan's stripping you. Break the grandeur your nafs gives you. Be a servant to your Lord. Yes.
