Translation

And the followers (of the leaders of denial) will say “If only there was a way back to the world so that we can distance ourselves from them as they distance themselves from us.” Thus, Allah will show to them all things they were doing in their longing and regret, and they will not be exiting the fire.

Tafsir

In the Hereafter, those who follow the pioneers will say, "If only we had returned to this world, we would have left them as they left us." Their words are not out of love for Allah. If they were true to what they say, Allah is not unjust so that He can be unjust to people. Their talk is because they still do not recognize Allah (swt) and think that they can deceive Him. It is that they are saved from the torment of Hell for the moment and they keep it in their hearts to take revenge on Allah, who is supposed to have thrown them into the torment of Hell, by waiting for their imaginary Lord.

The reason for a disbeliever's eternal stay in Hell is that when they see the torment there, their hatred for Allah increases as they suffer. It is because they cannot reform their nafs. A Muslim will also enter hell. The people of hell will say, "You were a Muslim, why are you being tormented like us? The Muslim's answer to them will be; I was no different from you when I was in the world, I did what you did, this punishment is too little for me. Then Allah, who is aware of these conversations, will say to that Muslim: "O my servant, come out of there and enter my Paradise. The Muslim will benefit from the light of the Tawheed he has brought and the faith he has believed in, and his soul will be perfected and he will be saved from there. But an infidel will not be able to say what a Muslim says. Even though he knows the truth in this world, he will not surrender to Allah, and in the Hereafter, as he suffers torment, his hatred towards Allah will increase and he will remain there for eternity in this state. May Allah protect us from such a fate.

(Allah will show them what they have done with regret and longing). Humans have a covenant with Allah (swt) in the eternal state of eternity. Whatever covenant a person has made with Allah through his/her free will, Allah has written that covenant as a destiny for that person. They cannot get rid of this destiny. Since they themselves have written their traits, desires and wishes into their destiny, they never desire their destiny to change. In this respect, their regret and longing is that they did not find what they had hoped for in the Hereafter as they had lived in this world, and that they long for the life they had hoped for from the torment they have seen. For them, the worldly realm is paradise. Because for a certain period of time in this world, they benefit from Allah's Merciful attribute. They are provided with sustenance while they live the life that Allah (swt) has given to human beings in order to keep themselves and their nature as witnesses to Allah (swt) and the world around them. It is for those people to reveal their character in proportion to the covenants they have made, and to have people confirm to themselves what they are. When they are transferred to the Hereafter, when Allah's Merciful attribute is removed from them and they have no means to save themselves there, that is, they have no good deeds, there will be no intercessors for them, and they will be alone there, according to the verse that says, "They have no helpers".

Since these are the feelings that they desire, they cannot give up these feelings. They are always in rebellion against Allah (swt). In this state, they will remain in Hell for eternity and will not be saved from the Fire. Allah says about them (they will not come out of the Fire).

What is said in the video

We come to Surah Al-Baqarah, verse 167. The leaders' followers too say this: Ah, if only we had a return to the world, so that just as they parted from us and moved away, we too would move away from them. Thus Allah will show them all they did as sorrows and regrets, and they will not come out of the fire.

What will happen? Just as they are enemies to one another there, enemies, that enmity of theirs they would voice even if they came to the world. But not on condition of believing in Allah. Voice. In fact, even if they came, that realm would close again, and again they would play their own characters. In the realm of the hereafter, those who followed the leaders will say this. Who are these leaders? Two-legged taghuts, the people who steer them. What we call a two-legged taghut is a devil, a human devil. And those who are powerful and steer them. If only we returned to the world once more, we would part from them as they parted from us. These words of theirs are not because they gave their hearts to Allah.

These, if these had been sincere in what they say, sincere in what they say, Allah Almighty is not unjust that He would do injustice to people. That is impossible. These words of theirs come from their still not knowing Allah Almighty and thinking they will deceive Him. It is that, for that moment, they escape the punishment of hell and, again the Lords of their fancies awaiting, revenge on Allah, whom they think threw them into the punishment of hell, they keep hidden in their hearts.

They will always take revenge on Allah Almighty.

These people who never carry out what Allah Almighty says and who, in the address of Elest-i Rabbiküm, made the covenant with our Lord, whose wishes and desires, aims, became their destiny, will not be able to step outside that destiny, will not be able to step out of that world, their own programmed world; however much that person feels regret there, that he holds a grudge against Allah our Lord knows.

The reason a disbeliever stays in hell forever is that, when he sees the punishment there, the more he suffers, the more his grudge against Allah grows. Because, since he denied his Lord in his time, at any good coming from Allah to others, not to himself but to others, at any good that comes, and at a calamity coming to him from his Lord, a person who (?) Allah and defies Him, who (?) such a person. These, even if they see the punishment, never; because it is in their character makeup, constantly a (?) of revenge comes from them. And since our Lord knows this, for He is the one who gave them those characters, never can these get out of this hell.

When he sees the punishment there, the more he suffers, the more his grudge against Allah grows. Because he could not reform his nafs. A Muslim too will enter hell. The people of hell will say: weren't you a Muslim, why are you suffering like us? The Muslim's answer to them: when I was in the world, I was no different from you; whatever you did, I did too. This punishment is even too little for me, he will say. One will rebel. That Muslim will say this is even too little for me. Then Allah, who is aware of these conversations, will say to that Muslim: O My servant, come out of there and enter My paradise.

His nafs has reached perfection. That is, people who pass to the hereafter as Muslims with the light of faith, as long as they do not go as non-Muslims, if even an atom of faith is in his heart, what will he be? Because he went with the seal of Islam. In that hell the light of faith will reach perfection, his nafs will be at peace. It is at peace anyway. Then he will go to paradise.

The Muslim, benefiting from the light of faith of the tawhid he brought and believed in, his nafs will reach perfection and he will be saved from there. But a disbeliever will not be able to say what a Muslim says. Just as in the world he did not submit to Allah despite knowing the truth, in the hereafter too, the more he suffers, the more his grudge against Allah grows, and in this state he will stay there forever. May Allah protect us all from such an end, he said. Yes. We continue with the verse.

Allah Almighty will show them what they did as regret and longing. A regret and longing. What is this regret? There they now understood that the leaders were of no use to them. They were profiting from the world. To lead him onto their own path, their worldly benefits before those people they would (?). Just as those who make some groups Christian en masse, giving them worldly blessings, houses, vineyards, setting up allowances for them, and making them Christian, those,

these people, the leaders of disbelief,

and that poor person who takes that worldly gain, I won't even say apostate, because he has turned from his religion by accepting Christianity,

did not see what Allah Almighty bestows on people, could not know that wealth and property belong to his Lord; to the one who gives him a few pennies of worldly gain he bowed, and on his Lord, the Owner of the worlds, he turned his back. He too is a poor wretch.

There are those who fall for these. Some groups, some sects within the religion of Islam fall for these. Yes.

People's appointed term and (?): they have covenants with Allah Almighty.

Whatever covenant man gave Allah with his partial will, Allah wrote man's (?) for that man as destiny.

They cannot escape these destinies. And since they themselves had their traits, their wishes and desires written into their destinies, they never wish to change either. If he had wished it, Islam would have been within his destiny. You tell him come, become Muslim; he leaves. Recently, I mean it's been a year and a half, I went somewhere,

there I met someone. I won't give names. He said to me: you, now, he said, you say you are a sayyid, he said, and you say you come from such-and-such place, he said. That is, you are a grandson of Imam Jafar al-Sadiq, he said. Yes, he said. Well, now if I kiss your hand, he said, will I have kissed the hand of one of the Ahl al-Bayt, he said. That is, will I have kissed your hand as a grandson of Imam Jafar al-Sadiq, he said. You will, I said. We turned it into a conversation. Look, I said, I am of his lineage, but I am of Ahl al-Sunnah wal-Jama'ah, I said. You come too, join this, Ahl al-Sunnah wal-Jama'ah.

I can't, he said. My whole family is like this, we are like this, he said. I can't, he said. We talk so much, he shows respect, he honors me, esteems me, brings our meals, (?). And, he says, I will tell my home, I will say I kissed the hand of the grandson of Imam Jafar al-Sadiq, he says. That is, despite being honored this much, sir, impossible, he says. I can't come. So whatever a person had written as his destiny, he can never escape it. What does our Lord say in the verse? Unless We will, you cannot will. So whatever is in my destiny, only that can I will. For me to step outside it, my Lord must will it.

He must lift my will from me and program me with His own will. But with Us there is a book, preserved in the Preserved Tablet. Nothing is added to it afterward, nor anything taken away, it says. It is finished. So no one can step outside the destiny he had written. Yes, and since they themselves had their traits, their wishes and desires written into their destinies, their own change they never wish. For this reason, their regret and longing is that, as they lived in the world, in the hereafter realm they cannot find what they hoped for, and from the punishment they see, for the life they hoped, for the life they hoped, they long.

What are we saying? Here, for them, as they lived in the world, in the hereafter realm not finding what they hoped for; in the world they seek what they hope for, you see, they find it, you see; and from the punishment they see, for the life they hoped, they long. They suffer that punishment, you see; then what was the life they hoped for? You know, they were going to live their own world, go to paradise, live a very fine realm. Or their Lord would come and save him, if there were a Lord other than Allah. Well, for them the worldly realm is paradise. This worldly realm is paradise. For non-Muslims this worldly realm is paradise.

What are we saying? To Abdulqadir Gilani Hazretleri, the Christians' priest and the thieves' chief, the bandits' chief, Christian these, they say, this man made our son a Muslim. That is, the bandit's son becomes a Muslim.

Let's play a trick on him. What shall we play? The priest says: you come with me. He dresses the bandit in a ragged garment, ragged.

In a destitute state, and next to him the Christian priest, and Abdulqadir Gilani Hazretleri comes along in splendor on horseback. With him, around him, his students. At once this chief of the bandits steps in front of the horse, stop, he says to Abdulqadir Gilani Hazretleri. He stops. You said, he says, the disbelievers' paradise is the world; I, he says, am poor here, I can't find bread to eat, my clothes are torn, I'm wretched, I'm sick of the cold; and you on the horse live in pomp and splendor, with you, he says, your disciples, your students; how is this, he says, my world is paradise, he says, and yours, he says, your world, he says, is a dungeon, he says.

How is this a dungeon, he says? You here, he says, live in pomp and splendor in the world, he says, let it be your dungeon, he says. I understand, I understand, my son, wait, he says, come here. Look in, he says, through my right sleeve.

(?), the Christian, that chief of the bandits, when Abdulqadir Gilani Hazretleri's palaces in the hereafter, the paradises, those pavilions and so on, those houris and youths around him appear to him, the life here truly (?). Now, my son, he says, look in from here, he shows his left sleeve. And he sees himself writhing in punishment in that fire. Those, sir, (?), those moans, (?) oh my Allah, he says and throws himself back. Now, he says, is this world of yours paradise or not, he says. Yes, I understand that it is my paradise, he says. So the non-Muslim's world in this realm is his paradise. Why his paradise?

Because in this realm, in his own freedom, even if he suffers hunger, even if he suffers want, suffers from the cold, it is temporary. And after all, he is not in a punishment, not in a torment. But compared to the torment of hell, this is paradise. Worldly life is paradise compared to that punishment of hell. Yes. That is why their paradise is the world. And the Muslim's dungeon is the world. Because he will be saved; whom has our Lord promised? According to the verse 'who is more faithful to his word than Allah', in the paradises He promised, in the eternal abode of bliss, he will live in peace.

Because in the world, for a certain time, from Allah's attribute ar-Rahman to benefit (?). There they will not be able to benefit from the attribute ar-Rahim either; from that attribute ar-Rahman they will eat and drink in the world, live in the finest way. So that they make themselves and their natures witnessed by Allah Almighty and those around, they are provided for while living a lifetime that Allah Almighty gave people. It is so that those people bring out their characters in proportion to the covenants they gave, so that they confirm to themselves what they are. What does Allah Almighty say anyway?

What you earn is the return of your own two hands. So when they pass to the hereafter, Allah Almighty's attribute ar-Rahman too is lifted from them, and there is no (?) there to save them, that is, they have no good deeds; and according to another verse saying they have no helpers, there will be no one to intercede for them, they will be left alone there. Since these characters of theirs are feelings they themselves desired, they could not develop these feelings, developed, have not developed them. They will constantly be in rebellion against Allah Almighty, and in this state they will stay in hell forever and will not escape the fire.

For them Allah Almighty declares: they will not come out of the fire. Yes.

Here there is something: earlier we just read this part; these characters of theirs, since they are feelings they themselves desired, they have developed these feelings. That is, because they have rebellious spirits they developed those feelings and proved themselves.
