Tafsir
In the sixth year of the Hijrah, our Prophet (SAW) set out from Medina to Mecca in order to perform Umrah, and when he and his companions arrived at Hudaybiyah, they were stopped by the polytheists. They prevented them from entering Mecca and signed the first treaty in the history of Islam in Hudaybiyah. According to the Treaty of Hudaybiyah, Muslims would not perform 'umrah that year, but the next year they would be able to visit the Haram in the same month, which was a haram month. Out of Allah's mercy and grace, the Muslims were retaliated by visiting the Haram in next year's haram month, according to the verse that says that the haram month is in return for the haram month.
In the verse of the Qur'an in which it says that the forbidden month corresponds to the forbidden month, Islam has not exceeded the limits, and in the verse of the Qur'an in which it says that respect is mutual, people's respect and love for each other and their respect for their promises have increased their dignity. Sincere dialogues took place between the two sides and people lived in peace, not oppressing each other.
(Whoever attacks you, attack him in retaliation) in the same way as those who attack you have harmed you. Do not go beyond that. Do not be a slave to your ego. Do not fall in love with greatness and being the head. In a hadith, the Prophet (s.a.w.) says, "Whoever falls in love with being the head will become his own head.
So fear Allah (and know that Allah is with the righteous). If people follow justice and righteousness as much as they can, apply the Verses of Allah, keep their affairs accordingly, fear injustice and seek refuge in Allah, Allah is with those people. These are the pious. Those who are devoted to Allah. Allah will not leave them alone.
What is said in the video
The sacred month for the sacred month; sanctities are reciprocal; whoever attacks you, attack him to the extent of a reprisal; fear Allah and know that Allah is with the God-fearing. The Prophet (peace be upon him), in the sixth year of the Hijra, sets out from Medina the Illumined toward Mecca the Illumined to perform umrah. When he and his Companions reach Hudaybiyyah, by the polytheists they are stopped. They prevent them from entering Mecca the Honoured, and the first treaty of Islamic history they sign here at Hudaybiyyah. The first treaty in the history of Islam.
According to the Treaty of Hudaybiyyah, the Muslims will not perform umrah that year. Next year, in the same month, the Haram as sacred, in the sacred month, they will be able to visit. By the mercy and grace of Allah Almighty, the next year, by the Muslims visiting the Haram in the sacred month, the sacred month for the sacred month — according to the verse that says this, a reprisal was made. I could not come in this month, I came in that one month, but that was in return for that; and this, (?). So: the sacred month for the sacred month, He said in His verse. Islam did not transgress; with the verse saying sanctities are reciprocal, people's respect and love for one another, by keeping the promises they gave, increased their standing.
Both the polytheists kept their word toward Islam, and the Muslims toward Islam, toward the polytheists kept their word. But after this they sowed fitna between them, they broke the treaty; in Medina the Illumined, by attacking a group of Muslims, the treaty was broken and war was declared on Mecca.
Whoever attacks you, attack him to the extent of a reprisal. Whatever harm those who attack you have done you, attack them so as to do them that much harm. Do not go beyond that, do not be the captive of your nafs, do not fall for greatness and the passion of being the head. In a hadith the Prophet (peace be upon him) says: whoever falls for the passion of being the head loses his own head. So fear Allah. Know that Allah is with the God-fearing. Who are these God-fearing? Those who have risen to the nafs al-mutma'inna. Well, people who are learned in the nafs al-radiya. People who are believers, the God-fearing.
Righteous people. Those devoted to Allah with their hearts.
People abide by right and justice as far as they possibly can. They apply Allah's verses. If a person conducts his affairs accordingly, he fears doing injustice. If they take refuge in Allah, Allah too is with those people. These are the God-fearing. They are those who give their hearts to Allah. And Allah does not leave them alone. He says. Yes.
