Hajj (obligatory pilgrimage) is on known dates. Whoever intends to perform hajj on those months, they should not approach women, turn to sinful actions or quarrel during hajj. Allah knows whichever good deeds you perform. Know that the best provision is abstinence (from sins). Oh people who use their intelligence, abstain from (disobeying) Me.

Tafsir

The months of Hajj are exactly ten days from Shawwal, Dhu'l-Qa'dah and Dhu'l-Hijjah. The religion of Islam is divided into four sects. All four are true. Allah (swt) does not intend injustice to people. For this reason, the imams of the sects have implemented the religion of Islam according to the towns. The days of Hajj I have mentioned above are according to the Hanafi madhhab.

According to Imam Shafi'i, Shawwal is the ninth day and only the night of the tenth day of Dhu'l-Qa'dah and Dhu'l-Hijjah. According to Imam Malik, Shawwal is the whole of Dhu'l-Qa'dah and Dhu'l-Hijjah. These are the days of Hajj. When you make the intention and set out on the pilgrimage, it is a sin to approach women, to fight, to speak bad words, that is, to curse. One should understand the meaning of Hajj well. The person who intends to perform Hajj should know that he will be in the presence of Allah (swt) in the Baytullah. He should prepare himself accordingly. He should set out with his heart attached to Allah and with the permission of the people. Although Allah (swt) is omnipresent in the universe, He says, "My servants are in My presence in the Baytullah".

(Whatever good deeds you do, Allah knows it.) A person is a Muslim, he knows that Hajj, one of the five pillars of Islam, is a paid duty. When a person has money, Hajj becomes obligatory on him. If a person does Hajj for the sake of Allah, submits to Allah's command and performs it, his reward will be that he will be as sinless as if he had just been born from his mother. While performing this form of worship, one must be wholeheartedly devoted to Allah, leave the affairs of the world behind, and realize that when he enters ihram, he is shrouded in shrouds, that he is on his way to Allah, and that he is at the disposal of the Presence of Allah (swt).

In this regard, people in Arafat always say the telbiya (Lebbeyk Allahumme lebbeyk lebbeyk lebbeyk la sharike lebbeyk lebbeyk innel hamde vel nimete leke vel property la sharike lek). That is to say, command, O Allah, command, I have come to your command, O Allah, command, praise and honor is for you in your property. You have no partner, O Allah. If a person submits himself to Allah, the Almighty, who created him, performs his worship, does not deviate from Allah's commands, and submits to Allah, Allah is never unaware of what people do, and Allah is a multiplier of good deeds done with such sincerity, and a multiplier of rewards. Allah is aware of good deeds and good deeds.

(Know that the best of provisions is taqwa.) Taqwa is to avoid suspicious things. For example, if a person offers food to another person, and the person who receives the food does not eat it until the person who has received the food has eaten it, the person who has given the food has earned halal or haram money. Allah says that money earned by paying attention to halal and haram, and by fearing Allah and not taking away people's rights, will be the best of provisions.

Allah does not leave anyone's rights with anyone else (O you of understanding! Beware of Me). Because He is the judge of judges. There is no bribery or favoritism in His sight. So, O human being! Be careful what you do. Fear Allah. Do not take people's rights upon yourself, forgetting that you will be held accountable tomorrow on the Day of Judgment.

Whatever good and good deeds you have done, your sustenance that will come with you is your good and good deeds. The human being who will not be able to take even an iota of the world to the Hereafter; you will be tested with the wealth of the world and you will only gain good and evil with it. When you pass on to the Hereafter, you will take these good and evil with you. O owners of intellect! Think well and beware of Allah.

What is said in the video

I think, yes, if I'm not mistaken, verse 197; yes, what does Allah Almighty say here now; we will try to open this up to you tonight.

Hajj is in the known months. Whoever intends hajj in those months,

during hajj there is no approaching women, no turning to behaviour counted as sin, no quarrelling, it says.

Where are you going? To hajj. To the goal of hajj, to your Lord's presence. Outwardly, in Mecca the Honored, the house of Allah Almighty, directly into His presence. Allah Almighty is present and watching everywhere, but in Mecca the Honored, at the House of Allah, one is directly in His presence. Directly. Yes. So in His presence there is no approaching women, no quarrelling, well, no turning to forbidden deeds. No turning to behaviour counted as sin, no quarrelling. Whatever good you do, Allah knows it. Of course He knows. Look how beautiful. The will is always ours, Osman. Listen well. The will is always ours. Whatever good you do, well, Allah knows it. Know that the best provision is taqwa. Provision.

That is, what is the provision a person needs? The food you eat. Your provision, your need. And this is my soul's need. The best is taqwa. What is taqwa? Allah — Allah Almighty says: We sent you two garments. The first, outwardly, the garment covering the private parts. The second is taqwa, it says. Turn to taqwa. What is taqwa? It is paying attention to halal and haram by avoiding doubtful things. Yes, O people of understanding, it says, beware of Me; of course we will beware, He is our Lord, we will fear Him greatly, we will love Him very much, because besides Him we have neither a door to go to nor a shelter to take refuge in; He is our owner; we will fear greatly when we go against His command, we will fear His justice greatly; we will love Him greatly when we fulfil His command; He will meet us in the hereafter as the most compassionate of the compassionate, the most merciful of the merciful, and will grant us the Paradise He promised.

Who is as true to his word as Allah? Yes.

The months of hajj are Shawwal, Dhu al-Qadah and exactly ten days of Dhu al-Hijjah. What are they? The months of hajj: Shawwal, Dhu al-Qadah and exactly 10 days of Dhu al-Hijjah. What does that make? 70 days.

2 months and 10 days after Ramadan. The months of hajj. That is accepted. The months of hajj. Here, although the founders of the schools, the imams of the schools, more or less always meet at the same points, there are small differences. Minor ones. They are not important. What matters is that at the root the same months are accepted as the months of hajj.

Allah Almighty does not will oppression for people. Therefore the imams of the schools, according to the evidence, had the religion of Islam put into practice. For example, in places where water is scarce or absent, Imam Shafi'i says ablution may be done with non-flowing water. Imam Azam says non-flowing water has germs, flowing water kills germs; ablution is done with flowing water, he says. Imam Shafi'i also answers. He says: Allah Almighty created water as a purifier.

As long as its smell, colour and taste have not changed, water purifies. Ablution can be done with it, he says. (?) Yes. In the Hanafi school, if blood comes out, ablution is broken. In the Shafi'i school, even if blood comes out, ablution is not broken. Like this, according to places, according to regions, our imams — the forms of worship the Prophet performed in those regions, when returning from (?), when returning from journeys, that he performed, that he applied — the imams in those regions did them that way, and the four schools emerged. This hadith comes from there too. The difference of my community is salvation, he says.

But (?) to the four schools. Hanafi, Hanbali, Maliki, Shafi'i. Why is it salvation? With us, there is no looking right and left while praying. But in the Maliki and Hanbali schools there is. You got distracted, turned your head right, turned your head left. Imam Malik, Imam Hanbal intercede for you. Those who follow us — (?) You accepted those who follow us like this, accept him likewise. Well, Imam Hanafi for Imam Shafi'i or for Imam Hanbal intercedes. In this way, what people do within (?), their small mistakes — the other imams, in those schools, by directing them to those ways of worship and interceding for them — us, for the mistakes we made, by asking Allah Almighty for forgiveness, obtain pardon and forgiveness.

Yes, these — in these schools there is also salvation. Like this. Not like splitting into some fifth school or into other schools, no. God forbid, Allah protect us.

What we said above, we say: the days of hajj, that is, Shawwal, Dhu al-Qadah and exactly ten days of Dhu al-Hijjah, is according to the Hanafi school. According to the Hanafi school.

According to Imam Shafi'i: Shawwal, Dhu al-Qadah and the 9th day of Dhu al-Hijjah and only the night of the 10th day.

Yes, only the nights of these 9th and 10th days are accepted as hajj months by the revered Imam Shafi'i.

According to Imam Malik: Shawwal, Dhu al-Qadah and the whole of Dhu al-Hijjah. According to Imam Malik too. They will go to hajj entirely in those months. They do not approach women. They do not do forbidden deeds. Well, they do not quarrel. These days are the days of hajj. Why did I say: when you set out on the hajj journey, approaching women, quarrelling, saying bad words, that is, cursing, is a sin.

A person must grasp the meaning of hajj well. What is it? Grasping the meaning of hajj well here: I am going to my Lord's presence. I am going to the presence of Allah Almighty. So all that Allah Almighty created are His servants. His servants. So if we approach Allah Almighty's servants with tolerance, our Lord raises us in His sight. What does the revered Ibrahim Fakrullah say? Tolerate the created for the sake of the Creator. Yes. There is tolerance. Tolerance — within the religion of Islam there is tolerance. I am stressing this point. Within the religion of Islam there is tolerance. But tolerating the kufr of the disbeliever is not possible.

Those who start a tolerance campaign are mistaken here. This is where people go wrong. Yes. We continue.

A person who intends hajj must know he will be directly in the presence of Allah Almighty at the House of Allah. He must prepare himself accordingly. What does it say? Allah Almighty is present and watching everywhere in the universe.

Allah Almighty has, outside His own power, outside His rule, created no being. Not even a speck. Whatever He created, He created within His rule, and in the verse He says: He has power over all things. All things. Whatever He created, He created within His rule. Well, Hodja, such vast worlds, so many specks, beings — how are they within His rule? As we said, He created everything with knowledge. With knowledge. Of these visible materials, magnetic or antimagnetic, the atoms of all matter, the nuclei of these atoms make a sound while spinning around their own axes. Allah Almighty — even if you do not hear it, it remembers its Lord.

What does it say? The heavens and the earth and what is between them have known the remembrance of their Lord. Allah Almighty, through those nuclei spinning around their own axes, making a sound and making them remember our Lord, that there is no god but Him, has stressed the sign that He owns this existence from speck to globe. Just as a factory turns out a product and (?) stamps its emblem. Plus, these electrons, while spinning around their own axes, emit a signal. This signal is, exactly within frequencies, programmed to Allah Almighty. Therefore, in any corner of the universe, in any speck of it, when a wish, a stir, a desire arises, our Lord is aware of it. That is: He has power over all things.

He created with knowledge, with knowledge. Knowledge. How beautifully Yunus Emre says: knowledge is to know, knowledge is to know oneself. If you do not know yourself, what kind of knowledge is this? Yes. Knowledge is something else entirely. Islam is not a religion of superstition, Islam is not a religion of (?) reason, Islam is not a religion of rulings given according to people's minds. The religion of Islam is the paths where, in the light of the verses, that light illuminates your path and becomes a spring, and the path of those who drink from that spring is lit. The religion of Islam (?).

Yes.

Bound to Allah from the heart, one must set out after asking people to forgive whatever one owes them. Yes. Otherwise, Ahmet, Mehmet, (?). You — I am going to hajj. If — I will cleanse my sins. Because what does Allah Almighty say in His verse? Having come here, circled Me in tawaf and prayed two rak'ahs at the Station, you are as if from my mother newly born, He says. So for me to be like one newly born from my mother, I must also (?) the rights owed to others; I must. I must give the rights of those who have rights on me. Debt is separate. Look, you can have a debt and still go. That is, you found the means, you are going.

You will pay that debt anyway. But still, although you should first pay your debt — but there is time. You will be able to pay that too. Well, you say: let me go there, let me see it. What is the exception? Of course, that depends on your feelings. Well, if you go there like this, eating haram, usurping this and that person's rights, perhaps our Lord forgives your sins of years, but He never compromises on their rights. He takes their right from you. Yes. Although Allah Almighty is present and watching everywhere in the universe, at the House of Allah My servants are directly in My presence, He says.

That is what He says. Here, He says, they are directly in My presence.

Whatever good you do, Allah knows it. Of course He knows. He even knows already that we will do it. He knows what good and what evil those to come will do. That is, He knows what those not yet born, who will come until the Day of Judgment, will do. Because according to their wishes and desires He willed their aims for them as destiny. Yes. One is a Muslim. One knows that hajj, one of the five pillars of Islam, is a (?) requiring money — one knows that. When a person has money, hajj becomes obligatory for him. It becomes obligatory, but if you cannot find a way, it lapses. Well, if there are bandits on the road, if there were a fearsome one, if it lapses and you cannot go — there must be road safety, there must be an opportunity there, you will find it. For example, I intend, I have money, I will go, what does the state's law say?

Five thousand people will go. Ten thousand people registered for you, five thousand weren't drawn. So what happened now? I intended to go, but they didn't send me. Thereby it lapses for you. Your intention is valid.

If you live, register again. Surely our Lord — if going to hajj is in your destiny, you will surely go. You will go.

If a person submits to Allah's command for Allah and does his hajj, his reward is becoming sinless as if newly born from his mother.

While performing this form of worship, he must be bound to Allah from the heart, leave worldly affairs behind, and when entering ihram realize that he is in a shroud,

that he has set out on the way to Allah, that he is in the divine presence of Allah Almighty, at His command. At His command. What does he say now? When he goes to Arafat, he constantly recites the talbiyah there.

What does he say in the talbiyah? Command, my Allah, command. I have come to Your command, O Allah, command. Lebbeyk Allahümme lebbeyk. Lebbeyke la şerike leke lebbeyk. And he says: command, my Allah, command; I have come to Your command, my Allah, command; You have no partner, no equal, no associate; my Allah, command, you say. Command. Yes, you recite the talbiyah. So at Arafat people recite the talbiyah (?).

That is: command, my Allah, command; I have come to Your command, my Allah. My Allah, command; in Your dominion praise belongs to You; You have no partner, my Allah — so they constantly recite the talbiyah. A person surrenders to the exalted Allah who created him, performs his worship, does not step outside Allah's commands; if he surrenders to Allah — Allah is never heedless of what people do, and Allah is the purifier of good deeds done with such sincerity and the multiplier of rewards. Allah is aware of the good and fine deeds done. Yes.

Know that the best provision is taqwa.

This world will pass anyway. Even if you are between two millstones, this world will end.

Whatever you have earned materially in this world you will leave here. What does the verse say? Or do you own even a speck of your world?

If that were so, you would be given nothing of your world. That is, are you able to create a speck of your world? If you had created that speck, had been capable of it, you would have no need of Me at all, and would meet your own needs, He says. In that case I would give you nothing, He says. So, if from speck to globe in these worlds we always need Allah, this world's torment and suffering or its pleasure and delight will one day come to an end. I will go to the hereafter either with torment and suffering or with pleasure and delight. To be able to go with pleasure and delight, regardless of this world's torment and suffering, I must fulfil my Lord's commands.

No. if you say: I can't bear the world's torment and suffering, I'll be with its pleasure and delight, if you turn your back on your Lord's commands, you will go there with torment and suffering too. Yes.

So, to go to that world with pleasure and delight, you must turn to taqwa. Taqwa is avoiding doubtful things. For example, a person gives another person some provision. He offers some food. The person who receives this offer, before eating this food: did the person offering it earn his money halal or haram? He needs to weigh this, if he knows him. Food earned or eaten with attention to these things is heeded only by the people of taqwa. Thus, with money earned paying attention to halal and haram, without seizing people's rights, the worldly blessings they took fearing Allah become the best of provisions. This person, in terms of taqwa, has heeded his Lord's command.

He did not turn to haram. And what people gave, he did not eat without asking halal or haram. And the Prophet (peace be upon him) says this: My community is divided into three classes. The first, even if it has no food from evening to morning, says er-rızku alallah and trusts in Allah.

Well, the second gathers worldly goods, but gathers them from the halal. For this there is a fine reckoning, he says. The third gathers without asking halal or haram. For this one there is torment in hand, he says. Yes.

O people of understanding — Allah Almighty is addressing now. O people of understanding, beware of Me. By His verse, Allah leaves no one's right with anyone. Because He is the judge of judges. In His knowledge there is no bribe or favouritism. Yes. Verses always told. These are in the ones above; I am not opening the verse, I don't see (?). What does it say? In His sight there is no bribe or favouritism. That is, when you see that torment you will wish that this world were yours, and another world like it were yours too, and you gave it as a bribe and escaped that torment. The verse was said about them.

What do we say? In His sight there is no bribe or favouritism. So, O human! Yes.

Watch what you do. Addressing man. Watch what you do. Fear Allah. Forgetting that tomorrow, on the Day of Judgment, you will be called to account, do not take people's rights for yourself. You, by taking people's rights for yourself, do you know that you steal their lifetimes? Can you buy people's lifetimes with money? Which person sells you their lifetime for money?

If he sold you his lifetime, with what would he live? Hodja, what do right and law have to do with a human lifetime? Look what it has to do with it, let me tell you (?) (?) Pay close attention. I work as a worker in a factory. For how many pennies? That day's wage of mine. Or I am in a government office. Or for someone else I do work; in fact I sell the lifetime I spend there to that institution or to that person; for that money I sold my lifetime; to get that money I also worked physically, I served him; if you cheat me and usurp my money, you stole my lifetime, you stole my most precious lifetime.

secondly, to fulfil my responsibility, for the children entrusted to me — to provide their sustenance, feed them and raise them by Allah's command, I earned money; by cutting off their sustenance you steal from them too, so you are responsible for that as well.

Therefore pay great attention to rights. Pay great attention to people's rights.

Their money, their goods, what they have earned — do not cheat them and take from them what is not your right. Never. If necessary, give away a little of your own interests. Whoever does this, wins people's hearts, Allah too wins that person's heart. Yes. And He exalts that person in His sight.

Whatever good and fine deeds you have done, the provision that will come with you is your good and fine deeds. Man, who cannot take even a speck of the world to the hereafter, — or do you own a speck of your world — being tested with the world's wealth, We will test you with your wealth and your lives, He says. With it you earn only good and evil. What you earn is the return of (?). Every sentence corresponds to verses. Every sentence corresponds to verses.

When you pass to the hereafter — the verse: every soul shall taste death. You take these good and evil deeds with you. What will come with you is good and evil. O (?), think well on the verses and beware of Allah — verses. It opens the verses to you beautifully in spoken language. The time will come, it will settle in the subconscious. People's words — only their words — you will evaluate with this. Yes.
