Translation

And when you return from the place that people return from, desire the forgiveness of Allah. Allah is Ghafoor (Forgiving) and Raheem (the One who very generously accepts repentance).

Tafsir

When some favored tribes used to come for Hajj, they would not come to Arafat, they would gather at the place called Mash'ari Haram, and they would say that we are the people of Allah, and they would not mix with the other pilgrims going up to Arafat. He is telling these people to return from the same place where My servants who have performed Hajj have returned. This is why this verse was revealed. My servants who perform Hajj have no superiority over each other. They are all obliged to follow the same rules. He says to seek Allah's forgiveness for this situation. (Allah is gracious and merciful.) Allah is forgiving, merciful and gracious.

What is said in the video

Surah Al-Baqarah, verse 199: Then, when you return from where the people return, ask for Allah's forgiveness. Allah is Forgiving and Merciful. Look, on what occasion was this verse revealed? When some prestigious tribes came to hajj, back then in the early days of Islam, they would not come to Arafat. They would gather at the place called Mash'ar al-Haram. We are Allah's own servants, they would say. They would not mix with those going up to Arafat like the other pilgrims doing hajj. They saw themselves as above other people. Either through wealth left by their fathers or through their own trade, among people (?) lords, these were.

In Islam there is no such thing. In Islam, the lord is the person closest to his Lord. Yes. This verse was revealed for this. Among the servants doing hajj there is no superiority over one another. All must follow the same rule, says our Lord. Because of this, ask for Allah's forgiveness. You are sinners. In this case you are the ones who decide for yourselves. Ask for Allah's forgiveness, He commands. Allah is Ghafur and Rahim; He forgives you. Allah is forgiving and merciful, compassionate, it says. Never do such a thing again, says Allah Almighty. Yes. No — you are prestigious, you are rich, well, you are a sultan, you are a king, you do it this way, he does it that way. No.

As I said earlier. Superiority in Allah's sight belongs to the person closest to Allah in the world of the heart. Look. The shrines, the saints — they are the sultans. The sultans are not sultans. Those saints are sultans. Those shrines are sultans. Until the Day of Judgment people come and visit them. They pray. They pray to Allah to raise their ranks. Now, are the sultans at the head of states the sultans? Or the people who have lived since Islam? Sultan. The people who lived Islam and (?) their Lord's nearness? Sultan. (?) still continues. I am not saying this because I wrote this tafsir.

This tafsir was written spiritually, directly; exactly — you see the spoken language — I read these from this tafsir anyway, I tell you the tafsir and open it up a bit myself, of course. a book written spiritually, exactly as if the verses (?). And this book was written by the very inspiration of our Lord. No one can find any deficiency in this book. But other books have many deficiencies. I am certainly not saying this to disparage them. Everyone has some knowledge. They wrote within that knowledge. They wrote within their information. But much of that information is false. They know this themselves too.

But they cannot get out of it. That is how they learned, that is how they write. And all of them, drawing strength from one another, write as copies of one another. This — no book was looked at, and you will find no quotation from any book here in this tafsir. And it is a book written with truths. I recommend that you read it. No, I am not saying don't read other books. Read them too and compare. If you have time, of course.

Yes. So, our daughter of yours, too — we will send the book a bit earlier.

This book in your home both enriches your library and, as it increases your knowledge, raises your spiritual rank. This book leads you to contemplation. words like those you cannot understand in other books are not in this one. We read from here. How beautiful. We all follow this book. We see it. It is written clearly in spoken language. As servants of our Lord, how we should behave and worship toward Him our Lord has clearly made known with verses, so we too try to explain them to people. Yes.
