If you turn away from peace after all this evidence (Quran and Sunnah) came to you, know that Allah is Azeez (Exalted) and Hakeem (Ultimately-Wise).
Tafsir
O you who believe! If, after all the proofs of Allah (swt), you still turn your backs on the Verses, do not do what Allah (swt) says, break the bonds of Islam, and turn against your brothers in Islam, then know that Allah (swt) is Great, He is Exalted, He never does injustice to those who work. If the enemies of Islam unite, if you harbor enmity against your Islamic brother, if you are with the enemies of Islam, what will you do tomorrow when you are alone and the enemies of Islam target you? If you disintegrate and fall into separation, and the enemies of Islam gather together and ensure unity and solidarity, Allah is Almighty. Surely your enemies will prevail over you. Because Allah is the judge of judges.
If your non-Muslim enemies implement what Allah says and you disagree, do you expect Allah to come to your rescue? Allah is a guide for those who keep His Word. All human beings are the creations of Allah. Allah does not discriminate between His creations on earth. He is the Judge of Judges. You cannot attribute Allah (Allaahu bi ahkamil hakimin). In this respect, He warns you with His Verses in your capacity of Islam. But if you want to move away from Allah, Allah (swt) has given you will, He has given you reason, He has left you alone with your own will. Of course you will draw your own path. If you do not keep what Allah (swt) says, you will suffer misery in this world and the next.
What is said in the video
Surah Al-Baqarah, Surah Al-Baqarah, we had stopped at verse 209. I continue from here.
After so many proofs such as the Quran and the Sunnah have come to you, if you still deviate from peace, know well that Allah is Mighty, Wise. What does it say? After so many proofs such as the Quran and the Sunnah have come to you. Proofs.
Here, in parentheses, it also appears as Sunnah. 'After so many proofs have come to you', you said, that is, the Quran and the Sunnah. What is the Sunnah? It is what the Prophet (peace be upon him) did. Since those are also counterparts of the verse, they were taken here as the Quran and the Sunnah, in parentheses. Yes.
If you still deviate from peace, know well that Allah is Mighty, Wise.
People, with carnal feelings, are seized by egos, and within these egos, what they themselves said, even if wrong, they set about defending. Defending. And in the end many unpleasant incidents arise.
About this verse we wrote this in our commentary. O you who believe! After so many proofs of Allah Almighty, you still turn your back on the verses. If it does not go as Allah says, you break the bonds of Islam, you take a stand against your brothers in Islam. Yes.
Pay attention. The noble ones are very deep. Allah Almighty holds a light before us with His verses. Look, I have been talking to you for so long.
It has been about a year and a half or so, maybe. It is approaching two years. Those who listen to me: do the things we have said ever contradict each other? You can't show a single one. Then, you said this here and it was like that. You can't say that. Because they are counterparts of the verses. If the verses don't contradict each other, what we say doesn't contradict each other either. For this, Allah Almighty sends before us, as a light, as proof, the Holy Quran, and if we still set about defending superstitions, we wrong our own selves.
So, why do we worship? To draw near to Allah. Not for defending what we know, not that. Put your finger on this. Put your finger on this. Why do we worship?
What did I say a moment ago? To draw near to Allah. To win Allah's pleasure. So not for defending superstitions.
If we defend superstitions, after seeing the truth, after seeing so many verses, after seeing them, if we set about defending superstitions, we wrong our own selves. What does wronging our own selves mean? According to the verse: what you earned is the recompense of your (?). According to the verse: We call no one to account (?) that We have not made heard. Allah Almighty makes you hear it. Not only (?). These words of mine are being heard. From the verses. He even makes it heard from the Hodja Efendi in the mosque. The verses, (?) comes and explains. These verses. In this case, when people hear the truth and still, with superstition, do not struggle, but his superstition onto the truth, that is, falsehood onto the truth, if he tries to sprinkle it, he wrongs himself.
Yes.
So, we read it once more. O you who believe! After so many proofs of Allah Almighty, you still turn your back on the verses. Allah's, (?), if it does not go as Allah says, you break the bonds of Islam, if against your brothers in Islam you take a stand, know well that Allah is Mighty, He is exalted, He never wrongs the one who strives. That is, the one who knows and the one who doesn't are not the same. If you turn your back on that brother in Islam, if you accuse him, if you try to overcome him with your falsehood, know that Allah is the judge among us. He is the judge of all affairs. He will decide among us.
The enemies of Islam unite; if you harbor enmity toward your brother in Islam and side with the enemies of Islam, tomorrow when you are left alone, when the enemies of Islam target you, what will you do? Yes, you, the non-Muslim, clung to (?), interlocking. If you too fall into conflict with your brother in Islam, tomorrow, in that division, before the unbelievers, you alone, what will you do?
If you split apart and fall into division, and the enemies of Islam gather and secure unity and togetherness, Allah is Mighty. Of course your enemies will overcome you. Because Allah is the Judge of judges. Meanwhile, by His judgment, by His justice, since you are left alone and the other is strong, he will (?) you. So today, pay close attention to this, to what I'll tell you: non-Muslims, whichever state they see as strong, or whichever state they know they will benefit from, in that state they stir up chaos. Chaos. They bring the Masons into play. Those Masonic leaders, in play, stir people into uprising. Professional incidents occur there.
With riots and mass marches occurring, through the chaos the state, instead of advancing, falls back. Busy dealing with them, it cannot help its own children of the homeland. And the people with those dark aims, of that state's weakness, as they please, take advantage. Look, today in the world it is always Islamic countries in turmoil, always in Islamic countries that there are uprisings. Can you ever see an uprising in the lands of unbelievers, that is, non-Muslim lands? Even if there is one, it immediately brings its government down and brings people who will govern it better to that place. And we bring down those who would advance the state, who would make it advance.
Where, we put at our head people who will drag the state into disasters. Wake up a little. Look how beautifully the verses tell us; the verses show the way. After so many proofs such as the Quran and the Sunnah have come to you, if you still deviate from peace, if you turn your backs on the people who govern you well, and turn your backs on the truth's commands, know well that Allah is Mighty, Wise. No one can render Allah helpless. Yes, if your non-Muslim enemies apply what Allah says, and you fall into division, that Allah Almighty will rush to your aid, will you expect that?
Here, this word, Eleysallahu bi-ahkemi'l-hâkimîn, supports this word of mine, this sentence of mine; what do we say? Your non-Muslim enemies apply what Allah says. If you fall into division, will you expect Allah Almighty to rush to your aid? Allah Almighty judges everyone on earth with justice. Justice. He gives everyone the recompense of what they do. Justice. If you fall into division, sir, break your bonds with your brother in Islam, since it is said: love of the homeland is part of faith, and you become a tool for some dark aims that will weaken the homeland, if you turn your back on the truth and side with falsehood, do you think Allah will help you?
Yes.
Allah is the guide for those who hold to His word. Our Lord guides those who are with their Lord.
All created people are Allah's creatures. All people. According to the verse 'Your mercy is upon everyone in the universe', Your mercy is upon everyone in the universe; you can make no distinction. Whether idolater, Magian, religious or irreligious. Whoever it may be, He treats them with justice. Allah Almighty has even divided the earth equally. That is a verse too. Yes.
Allah does not discriminate among His creatures on earth. Never. He will give all of them their sustenance. Everyone will prove himself. Where is the distinction? In the Hereafter, with the attribute of mercy.
He will separate those who (?) His command from those who (?).
He has the attribute of Judge of judges. You cannot ascribe attributes to that Allah. So, by virtue of being a Muslim, He warns you with His verses. Who? Allah Almighty. By virtue of being a Muslim. What does it say? After so many proofs such as the Quran and the Sunnah have come to you. If you still deviate from peace, if still, with that falsehood, with that superstitious belief of yours, you oppose Allah's verses, know well that Allah is Mighty, Wise, it says. Very much so. Yes.
You cannot ascribe attributes to Allah. So, by virtue of being a Muslim, He warns you with His verses. But if you insist on moving away from Allah, Allah Almighty has given you a will, given you reason, and left you alone with your own will. Of course you will chart your own path. If you do not hold to what Allah Almighty says, both in this world and in the next, you will suffer misery. Yes.
