Tafsir
When Muslims in a town are subjected to injustice and migrate to the side of their brothers in Islam, or when an Islamic state goes to reform a town in order to prevent injustice and oppression, those who emigrate from other Islamic states, even if they do not have to, and join these troops, and those who join the side of their brothers in Islam, can hope for the mercy of Allah while they are still alive. For such people are the only ones who are devoted to Allah, who do not hesitate to give their lives for the sake of Allah, and who do not spare any effort. These are the pious.
Allah (swt) gives them the good news of His mercy for this behavior while they are still in this world.
Allah (swt) binds us to each other in Islam with this verse. It reveals the secret of the verse that if there is a believer at one end of the world and a believer at the other end of the world, they are brothers. People who leave their homes in the face of an unjust attack on Islam in a state they do not know and have never heard of, and join the jihad in the way of Allah with their lives and property, are not each other's brothers, but what are they to each other?
Of course, this is the true brotherhood. There are people born from the same mother and there are those who are enemies to each other with different mindsets and ideologies. If such people become brothers and sisters, those who serve Allah with the same belief and thought will be more than brothers and sisters, they will be brothers and sisters with each other.
In one of his hadiths, our Prophet says, "If a Muslim cannot relate to the situation of another Muslim, his faith is not perfected. In other words, if a Muslim cannot sympathize with the sorrow, grief and joy of a Muslim, if another Muslim cannot sympathize with that Muslim, if he cannot feel the same emotions, it means that his faith has not been perfected.
How well this hadith describes this verse. Allah's mercy is upon those who emigrated in faith and took their places with their brothers who fought in the way of Allah. These people can hope for Allah's mercy even when they return from war alive, as we have described above. They can say we are Muttaqi.
(Allah is All-forgiving, All-forgiving and All-merciful towards His creatures.
Whoever turns to Allah and seeks forgiveness for his sins, Allah forgives them their sins and guides them. And whoever turns away from Allah, Allah will turn away from him, and he will find for himself neither a friend nor a helper.
What is said in the video
So in this case, Surah Al-Baqarah, verse 218, we have come to.
God willing, we will explain this to you too. What
does it say in this question, in this verse? Those who believe and those who emigrate and strive in the way of Allah, they can hope for Allah's mercy; Allah is Forgiving and Merciful. Now on earth, according to this verse, on earth, this hand of mine, take it as a border Accept it. On this side of it you cannot worship. Behind it you can worship. The border. This is a hand-span. If you migrate a hand-span from the place where you cannot worship to the place where you will worship, and worship your Lord here, you attain exactly the reward of the emigrants who emigrated from Mecca to Medina. Yes.
When the Muslims in a land suffer injustice and migrate to their Muslim brothers, or when an Islamic state goes to set a land right in order to stop injustice and oppression, those who, from other Islamic states, without being obliged to, emigrate and join these units, who take their place beside their Muslim brothers, these, while still alive, can hope for Allah's mercy through this conduct. Because such people are those who are devoted to Allah with all their heart, who give their lives for Allah without hesitation, who do not shy away from danger; these are the God-fearing. Yes.
I suppose this sentence of mine was understood here; let us repeat it once more. The Muslims in a land, such as? Let us say in France, in Germany, in Bulgaria, in Romania, wherever; the Muslims there, when they suffer injustice, that is, the injustice here, a ban on worship for them has come, (?). When they migrate to their Muslim brothers, whichever are Muslim states, or when an Islamic state or a Muslim state, in order to stop injustice and oppression, goes to set a land right, like the Ottomans: when the people of that land were wronged in their rights, they would ask the Ottomans for help. And they would go to help.
From other Islamic states, without being obliged to; let us say the units in Turkey are going to set a place right. People in other Muslim states, on hearing that Turkey is going to war, the people there join the army from Turkey that is going to war. To fight alongside them. That is, to fight the other side. They come to help the Turks. Just as ours went to Afghanistan, to Azerbaijan.
From other Islamic states, without being obliged to, emigrating, what are they doing? To increase the strength of the Islamic state, (?) they will take their place. Those who join these units, who take their place beside their Muslim brothers, these, while still alive, through this conduct (?) Allah's mercy. Because such people are those devoted to Allah with all their heart, who give their lives for Allah without hesitation, who do not shy away from danger. These are the God-fearing. Allah Almighty, while they are still in this world, because of this conduct of theirs, with the mercy of His essence gives them good tidings.
Allah Almighty, with this (?) matter, binds us to one another as Muslims, binds us, as Muslims. Without falling into division: even if one believer is at one end of the world and at the other end another believer, they are brothers; the secret of this verse it brings to light. In a state he has never known and does not know, against an unjust attack on Islam, leaving his home and homeland behind, people who join the struggle in the way of Allah with their lives and wealth, if they are not each other's brothers, what are they? Though he has never known you, he comes and lines up beside you. With their lives and wealth, at the time, when needed, brothers from the same womb do not do this.
Of course this is true brotherhood. If people born from the same mother's womb, who are within different mindsets and ideologies, if these people are brothers, those who serve Allah with the same belief and thought are more than brothers. In a hadith the Prophet declares: if a Muslim cannot share the state of a Muslim, his faith has not reached perfection, he declares. That is, if with a Muslim's states of pain, grief and joy, another Muslim cannot share that Muslim's states, if he cannot feel the same feelings, it means his faith has not reached perfection. Today if some good comes to a Muslim land, if today a Muslim land, in terms of strength, grows stronger against the other polytheists, I celebrate. Why do I celebrate?
I know that that Muslim state, with Allah's justice, will protect human rights. They will not oppress. When people on earth who do not know their Lord's commands torment people with oppression, those people will stop people's oppression. They will ease those people's pain. That is why, if Allah, the owner of people, is to let a festive air blow on earth for people, what does He say? Obey His command. And if those who obey His command grow strong and, to spread right and justice on earth, become the guardians of the earth, I (?). Yes.
So how beautifully this hadith describes this verse. So Allah's mercy is upon those who believe, who emigrate, who take their place beside their brothers fighting in the way of Allah. These people, as we explained above, even when they return alive from war, can hope for Allah's mercy, they can say: we are God-fearing. Allah is Forgiving and Merciful; towards His creatures Allah is very forgiving, pardoning and very merciful. Whoever turns to Allah and asks forgiveness for his sins, Allah forgives their sins and guides people. And whoever moves away from Allah, Allah moves away from him too, and that person can have neither a friend nor a helper.
