Translation

Those who have taken an oath not to approach their women have to wait for four months. If they return to their wives (within this period), verily Allah is Ghafoor (Forgiving) and Raheem (the One who very generously accepts repentance).

Tafsir

In the age of ignorance, people used to oppress their women by vowing not to approach them and never to go near them. Women were like toys in the hands of men.

With Islam, Allah protected the rights of women and gave them their individuality. In this case, Allah (swt) has indicated in this verse the limits of resentment between men and women. Sometimes people vow not to approach their women because of family discord. In this case, the duration of the vow is four months, so that men do not use women as a toy to do their bidding. If he returns to his wife within four months, he must pay an atonement. If this period expires, his wife is divorced from him. He must apply to his wife for remarriage, and if they agree, the marriage is renewed.

Allah is Forgiving and Merciful. If people turn to Allah and repent for the wrongs they have done against each other, rightly or wrongly, Allah is kind and merciful to His servants and forgives them and forgives them abundantly.

Allah (swt) guides people with His verses in order to enlighten the way for people whom He has created mentally incomplete. He brings people to life. Those who rule by the Verses of Allah (swt) win the life of this world and the life of the Hereafter and attain the mercy of Allah (swt).

What is said in the video

Surah Al-Baqarah, verse 226; these too are all our sharia rulings, that is, the laws our Lord has made known to us. Those who swear not to approach their wives wait four months. If within this period they return to their wives, indeed Allah is Most Forgiving, Most Merciful, it says. They will wait four months; they swore not to approach. Sir, they will wait four months. If they return within these months, Allah will forgive; he will repent, the person will return. If he does not approach, he will leave her (?).

In the age of ignorance, people, to pressure their wives, would swear not to approach them and intend never to go near them. Women were like toys in the hands of men. Yes. So, Allah Almighty, in the religion of Islam, grants women so many rights. Now, when they say of Islam "sharia is coming", that law of Islam they do not embrace, and to satisfy their eyes' pleasure, that old "reaction" they speak of; in the times when the Prophet (peace be upon him) had not yet come, when he had not yet graced this world, at a time when they used women like toys in their hands and threw them aside like rags, when, ashamed of a girl child, they buried her alive in the earth; at such a time the Prophet's coming to the world as a mercy, Allah Almighty giving life to mankind, and rescuing women from the hands of such men and raising them to a certain level; and since people, over time, adopting the way of those ancestors of theirs they call "reaction", again stripping women naked and intending to make them toys in their hands, they become enemies of the religion of Islam and in this situation raise an outcry that "sharia is coming"; because they cannot satisfy their carnal, lustful (?) and passions, they raise an outcry.

That is why they also call the Muslim "reactionary", and the blackness in their hearts, those dirty hands, onto the Muslim's white and spotless face they want to smear. Now you have learned. How good. Alhamdulillah.

They swear not to approach their wives. They wait four months. If within this period they return to their wives, indeed Allah is Most Forgiving and Most Merciful. In the age of ignorance, people, to pressure their wives, would swear not to approach them and intend never to go near them. Women were like toys in the hands of men. With Islam, Allah protected women's rights. and gave them their personhood, to women. Now women, women, in carnal feelings, inclining toward people who will make them toys in their hands and push them aside like rags, drag themselves to ruin, and they are unaware. Women in this state have neither personality, nor character, nor self-confidence.

So with this verse Allah Almighty makes known, between men and women, the limit of estrangements. What is this limit? If you swore, four months is its limit. Not more; you cannot go too far, it says. Yes, people sometimes, due to family discord, swear not to approach their wives. In this case, so that men do not make women a toy, an instrument of their own commands, the period for a man who swore not to approach his wife is four months. She is not your toy. After four months you either let her go or return to your wife. You, the woman; Allah did not give you the woman so that you crush her, establish dominion over her, act despotically and unjustly toward her.

He gave her to you as a spouse, a companion, for the tranquillity of the soul, as a trust. So the women that Allah has given to people, to men, as a trust: men must, in the best way, in fulfilment of Allah's command, relate to them. They must have a dialogue with them. A woman is not a man's toy, and she is not his servant. And she is not any maid of his, or a slave either. She is free. Every human is free. Look, every human. A woman is human too, she is free too. You cannot usurp her freedom. However, Allah says of that obedient woman, she is obedient toward her husband. Obedience is one thing.

A man wronging his wife, rightly or wrongly, is another. Yes, if within four months a person returns to his wife, he pays an expiation. That is, he pays the expiation for the oath. If this period runs out, his wife is divorced from him. If this period has run out, she counts as divorced. For a new marriage he must apply to his wife again. if they agree, the marriage is renewed. Yes.

That is, if the woman also wants to return to her husband, the marriage is renewed.

Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. For the mistakes people, rightly or wrongly, have made against one another, if people turn to Allah and repent, Allah is compassionate and merciful to His servants. He pardons them and forgives abundantly. So Allah Almighty, for the people He created (?) deficient, to light the way before them, guides people with His verses. He brings people to life. Those who live by Allah Almighty's verses gain both in the world, both the life of this world and the life of the Hereafter, and attain Allah's mercy. Yes.

Because Allah Almighty teaches people what they do not know through His verses. Whoever lives by Allah's verses, that person both finds peace and, since he carries out Allah's verses, counts as having worshipped, and this person, in Allah's sight, attains great ranks and rewards.
