These are Allah’s verses. We explain them to you with truth. Verily, you are among the Prophets that Allah has sent.
Tafsir
Allah is telling the people the events of the past in the truth, making them witnesses to the existence of Allah, so that they may take lessons from the past and be careful about what they do. Allah (swt), after proving His existence in every way, and then saying that you are one of the prophets sent by Allah, says that the prophets He sent in the past were also true, that they were sent by Allah Himself, and that you, like them, are a prophet sent by Allah, and that you are a prophet sent to mankind in the truth, a prophet who will end his prophethood as Khatemen Nabi. Allah (swt) also confirms all His Prophets with this verse.
By confirming that all prophets were sent by Allah to guide mankind, Allah also confirms the prophethood of the Prophet (PBUH) with this verse. In this verse, Allah says: "Verily, you are one of the prophets sent by Allah", which means that Allah (swt) says: O people! After introducing My Existence to you, just as you know Me as Allah, without a shadow of a doubt, so too, Muhammad (pbuh) is My servant and Messenger, sent by Me. He informs people that all prophets are true.
What is said in the video
We have come to the second verse. Allah Almighty, in His verse: these are the verses of Allah. Of course. Since He created the people He created deficient in reason, to hold a light before them: the verses of Allah, of course. We recount them to you truthfully, He says. Here a question like this may come to a person's mind. Its rendering comes out like this. We recount them truthfully. Are there things Allah recounts falsely? God forbid. The meaning of 'truthfully' here: 'truthfully', Allah, who is free of any deficient attribute, thus recounts to you the verses that will hold a light before you; He already says that at the start.
These are the verses of Allah. We recount them to you truthfully. That is, we recount them in a way that will hold a light before you, He says. We recount them so they will be a light, a proof. Yes. Otherwise (?) 'truthfully'. Never let it cross your mind whether there is a crooked version too. May Allah protect us. Surely you are among the prophets sent by Allah, He says. To whom? To the Prophet (peace be upon him). Yes. Some ignorant people, or enemies of religion, or those who deliberately want to confuse religion say: about the Prophet's prophethood, sir, is there anything at all? Or is his name mentioned?
Yet in many places Allah Almighty, in His verse, indicates that the Prophet (peace be upon him) is a prophet. Here is one of the verses. Someone may say: Hodja, his name isn't here. If his name isn't, look now. As far as I remember, it should be in Surah Al-Waqi'ah, I think. In Surah Al-Waqi'ah.
Pardon? Sir.
Muhammadun Rasulullah, it says. Muhammadun Rasulullah. Now
this to you
later I will read that verse. That is, in many places Allah Almighty, together with the name of the Prophet (peace be upon him), indicates that he is a prophet. Now, Allah Almighty recounts past events to people on the basis of truth, plainly and truly, making them witnesses to Allah's existence, making them witnesses, so that people take a lesson from the past and pay attention to the deeds they will do. That is what He meant by 'plainly and truly'. Sir, His recounting His verses in a way that holds a light before people, so they take a lesson from the past.
What do we say? Let us read it once more. So Allah recounts past events to people on the basis of truth, plainly and truly, that is, by holding a light before them, making them witnesses to Allah's existence with the words He recounts, so that people take a lesson from the past and pay attention to the deeds they will do. After Allah Almighty has proven the existence of His essence in every way, He then says: surely you are among the prophets of Allah, sent by Allah; after proving His existence in every way, by saying you are among the prophets sent in truth, He declares that the prophets He sent in the past are also true, that they were sent by Allah Himself, and that you too, like them, are a prophet sent by Allah, and as the Seal of the Prophets you are a prophet who ends prophethood, sent to people in truth; so He declares.
Yes. So in the religion of Islam, in order not to make a distinction between any of the prophets, it is to bear witness that all of them were sent by Allah. It is to testify. It is to testify.
According to the verse.
Moreover, Allah Almighty, with this verse, all His prophets confirms. What does He say? You are among the prophets sent by Allah. We recount them to you truthfully; they are surely the verses of Allah. We recount them to you truthfully. Surely you are among the prophets sent by Allah, He says. Among the prophets. He does not say 'you are a prophet'. 'You are among the prophets.' That is, He also confirms the prophets sent before him, Allah Almighty. By confirming that all the prophets were sent by His essence to guide people, He has also confirmed separately the prophethood of the Prophet (peace be upon him) with this verse.
Yes.
Yes. He is right, in Surah Al-Fath. Yes. It says Muhammadun Rasulullah, Surah Al-Fath. We said Surah (?), but yes, in the one before it, Surah Al-Fath it occurs.
Surah Al-Fath should be on page 512. Yes. 510, Surah Al-Fath.
Right here at the beginning, in the last verse, on the last page: Muhammadun Rasulullah, wallazina ma'ahu ashiddau, so the verse continues. Let us see which verse number this is. Here at the end, 29. At the beginning of the verse, there it occurs. In Surah Al-Fath, as Muhammadun Rasulullah, he is the Messenger of Allah, and his name, too, as we know, is Muhammad. In some verses Allah Almighty even mentions his name as Ahmad. Ahmad. It is in many places, you know. In many places, in a few places. But enemies of religion, as we said, these things, sir, to confuse people, to mislead them, they put forward before people as a mechanism of strife.
Yes, Emre.
by confirming that all the prophets were sent, to guide people, by His essence, He has also confirmed, separately, the prophethood of the Prophet (peace be upon him) with this verse. Allah Almighty, in His verse, Allah says thus: surely you are among the prophets sent by Allah. By saying this, accordingly, Allah Almighty says: O people, after making my existence known to you, in a way that leaves no doubt about my essence, just as you have known me as Allah, Muhammad (peace be upon him) is also my servant and my messenger, sent by me, He makes known to people. He even says whoever denies him has denied my existence and becomes a disbeliever.
He has denied my (?) and becomes a disbeliever. Yes. That is why, God forbid, Allah's existence, after all of us, every person of reason, have testified to it, disregard of His command means denial, denial of Allah Almighty.
