(Noah) said, “My Lord! Help me against their denial.”

Tafsir

Can a Prophet ask Allah for help and Allah does not help His Prophet? Hadrat Noah 'alaihis-salâm' was, in fact, a human being. He lived among his people for nine hundred and sixty years. Although he called his people to guidance, they disbelieved in Hadrat Noah. Thereupon he begged Allah (swt). O Allah, help me against the denial of my people. That is; O my Lord! You send the Prophets to declare and make known Your Essence. Now it grieves me that these people deny You, even though I have done my best against their denial of the truth. Falsity has drawn a veil over the truth and their speech has become like the truth. He said, "Separate me from them.

Allah is the Judge of Judges. Allah gives those who disbelieve in Allah a certain period of time. Then if they do not behave, He will destroy them on the earth. These are the people who are destined for destruction. When Allah (swt) destroys a people, it is a mercy for the people who come after them. So that the next generation may not follow these rebellious and rebellious people and become sinners themselves. Also, Allah does not hand over the earth to oppressors. He will replace them with people who will live the truth. Allah is omnipotent.

What is said in the video

Surah Al-Mu'minun, verse 26. Bismillahirrahmanirrahim. Kâle rabbinsurnî bimâ kezzebûn. Noah said, "My Lord, against their calling me a liar help me." Kezzebûn. Against their denial. Well, help me. Kâle, it says. I, my Lord. Help against their calling me a liar. A prophet would ask Allah for help. Would Allah not help His prophet? Allah Almighty knows too. So the time had come. Noah (peace be upon him) was, after all, a human being too. He lived among his people for 960 years. Although he invited his people to guidance, his people denied Noah (peace be upon him). Thereupon he implores Allah Almighty.

"O Allah, against his people's – my people's – calling me a liar, help me." That is: "O my Lord, You send prophets to make Your Self known and recognized. Now, although I do all I can against these people's denying the truth, their denying You weighs heavily on me. Falsehood has drawn a cover over the truth, and their talk has become like the truth. Separate between me and them," he said.

Yes. Allah Almighty is the judge of judges. To those who deny Allah Allah grants a certain time. Then, if they do not mend their ways, He destroys them on the earth. These people too are people who have come to deserve destruction. If Allah Almighty destroys a people, this is a mercy for the people who come after. The generation that comes after? So that they do not follow these rebellious and disobedient people and become sinners too. Moreover, Allah does not hand the earth over to the wrongdoers. In place of these wrongdoers, He also brings people who will live by the truth. Allah has power over all things.
