Al-Baqarah 87: Vow by My Jalaal (My Glory)! Verily, We gave Moses the Torah, and after Moses, we have sent one Prophet after another. We gave Jesus, son of Mary, clear miracles and We have strengthened him with Rooh al-Quds (Allah’s Entity). And whenever a Prophet came with orders that were against your desires, you became arrogant and stubborn; you have denied some of the Prophets and some of them, you have killed (such as Zachariah (Zakariyya), John the Baptist (Yahya), and Jethro (Shuayb)).

Explanation
The misinterpretation
We gave Moses the Book. After that, We sent Prophets one after another. We gave miracles to Jesus, son of Mary, and supported him with the Spirit of Jerusalem (Gabriel). (However) you were arrogant when a messenger came to say what your heart did not desire. You have denied some of the Prophets (who came to you). You killed some of them.
The right translation
Vow by My Jalaal (My Glory)!
Explanation
What is wrong with this verse: Gabriel as Allah. The truth is: I strengthened him with my Spiritual Jerusalem (my Essence).
Gabriel is an angel. Angels are created from light. Our Lord is the All-Soul. Gabriel is the one who brings the orders of Allah to the Prophet (s.a.w.) verbally. The Prophets themselves are supported by Allah.
Allah (swt) also says in His verse: "Let not Satan try to tempt Our servant while We are revealing to his heart. We make Our revelation firmly established in the heart of Our servant. Satan's temptation will hit him and he will be canceled).
Allah (swt) sent down the Holy Qur'an on the 27th night of Ramadan on Sidre-i Munteha in a place called Qadr. Whatever Verses our Lord revealed to the heart of the Prophet (PBUH), He would have Gabriel (Gabriel) take those Verses from the place called Qadr on Sidre-i Munteha and make the Prophet (PBUH) read them. In this case, it is not possible for anyone other than Allah (swt), the Holy Spirit, to support the Prophet. However, the commentators have not been able to distinguish between Gabriel and the Holy Spirit here and have taken Gabriel, who was created from light, as Allah (swt). They have opened verses in a way that contradicts and contradicts each other, saying that Allah supported the Prophet (PBUH) by putting him in the place of Allah.
However, Gabriel was also created by Allah. When Gabriel, who came to Sidre-i Münteha when the Prophet (PBUH) was ascending to Miraj, said that if I go further than an ant's length from here, I will be burnt, how is the Holy Spirit here Gabriel? This is where this verse is wrong.
What is said in the video
One must pay attention.
In verse 87, a verse translated wrongly, a wrongly translated verse. Indeed, We gave Moses the Book. After that We sent prophets one after another. And to Jesus, son of Mary, We gave miracles. And him, with Ruhu'l-Kudüs, Pay attention now. Ruhu'l-Kudüs. They opened a parenthesis. We supported him with Gabriel.
Well, which angel will be superior to man, and which angel will teach Allah's prophet, support him? This does not befit Allah's majesty. Now if Allah is His prophet's teacher, Gabriel comes to him only to convey Allah's commands to him. As an intermediary. Otherwise he can neither teach him nor raise him. What does it say here anyway? They do not even know what the Holy Spirit is. Some say the spirit is Gabriel. Some say it is the Quran. Some make things up. There are, I have four things here. And some say it is Allah.
They divided it into four. Now the one who says it is Allah has put his finger on it. Yes. The universal spirit is Allah Almighty.
Ruhu'l-Kudüs, the holy spirit, is Allah.
Since Allah Almighty gives a part of His spirit to the Prophet. From the Prophet, a part, He creates the spirits of the prophets. And from the spirits of the prophets He creates the spirits of their peoples. When He created the body of our father Adam from clay: when I breathe into it of My spirit, you will prostrate, He says. Well, although this spirit passes on like this all along, is the spirit here Gabriel? The angels created from the light of the Prophet are created from light. How do you mix light with spirit, and the holy spirit, Ruhu'l-Kudüs, call it Gabriel?
Do you have no knowledge of the Quran at all?
Yes. With this nonsense they translated the verses as contradicting one another.
Then, when the truth is written, they say: who is this man? This man has written it this way. Sir, because the people who wrote their own are after fame and glory, you know, so-and-so's book, I will not say the name, so-and-so's author, so-and-so's commentary, there is a name like that; along with that name, when their mistakes come to light, these, as captives of the feelings of the nafs, even though they see the truth, and they do see it, want to cast falsehood over the truth in Allah Almighty's verse and overshadow it. These too, becoming captives of their nafs feelings, of their nafs feelings, following the yoke that Satan has put around their necks, Allah's true word, against the feelings of the nafs, he considers himself superior.
He does not say: hey friend, come here, you wrote it like this, we wrote it like this, come and explain to us why you wrote it like this; since he was a scholar, why did you not call him; since you are the Religious Affairs, since you are a scholar, this man writes it this way, so why do you not call this man and say why do you write it like this, by what authority do you write about the religion of Islam; you do not say this. They do not have the strength to say it. They have no knowledge to answer him. And when we go and explain the truth, what do you want from us, let us give it to you, he says.
Yes, there are witnesses. Well, do not give me what I want.
I did not come to you to get what I want. I came to you to announce Allah's command to these people. Why do you not say to me: let us sit down; here there are those who know Arabic very well, and those who know the grammar too. Let us all write a book together for Allah. Why do you not say it?
But you have reached the highest office of Allah Almighty on earth. You are on duty there. Well, are you not responsible to Allah Almighty? If I am wrong, are you not obliged to correct my mistake?
Yes. Here you call Ruhu'l-Kudüs Gabriel.
Is your knowledge, your Arabic, tied to your own memory? Or is it tied to your own understanding?
If scholars are like you, these people are your mirror. The people of today who translate are your mirror.
Yes. If you had told the truth, if you had feared no one: if there is anyone to be feared, it is Me, says Allah Almighty. If there is anyone to be loved most, it is Me too; if, saying this, with the light of Allah in your hearts, you had tried to draw near to Allah in worship, people falling into this state, sir, in the face of their own covenants, would at least have been delayed a little.
What does it say here now? We supported him with Ruhu'l-Kudüs, Gabriel. Gabriel, with whom do you support? How do you support with Gabriel? Jesus revived the dead. The dead. Well, does Gabriel have the right, the knowledge, to revive the dead?
When he says 'Kum biiznillah', what does it mean? Rise by Allah's leave.
Does it say 'Kum bi Cebrail' here? Well, if you translate the verses so wrongly that you cannot even grasp these things, then in this case people will neither listen to you nor obey you. The honour with which Allah made a covenant with him lives in his heart and goes with him, but you are the one responsible. Because you could not make it heard, you are the one responsible. Ha, am I not responsible? I am responsible too. Look, I am responsible to the whole world. Not to one place with a television station like you. I broadcast to the world over the internet. To the world. I do my duty as best I can.
I fear no one but Allah. I explain Allah's verses to people exactly, as a sharia ruling. Sharia ruling. Allah's verses. What does 'sharia' mean? What does sharia mean? Come on, in Arabic it means law. In the Arabic language I explain Allah's law to people, without fearing people. Come on, I throw down the gauntlet. Come on, step up. If I have a mistake, if a Muslim is the brother of a Muslim, come and correct me. Then I will switch off these televisions. Let me apologise to Allah Almighty. Let me ask for His pardon and forgiveness. Let me apologise to people too. Let me say goodbye and go. Would I do this? By Allah, I would.
I am a person in love with Allah. I am charged with fulfilling the duty Allah has given me. I am obliged to carry it out.
No scholar fears any human being. Yes. Ha, they execute people. Was it Fethi Hodja they executed? A scholar, from Çorum, sir, Atıf Hodja, Akif Hodja, wasn't it? Yes. He was not afraid at all. Come on, they said, what does it matter, a hat, they said, get up and put it on, they said. Nothing will happen, that is, they will spare his life. They persuade him. All right, he says.
The next day, that night, the Prophet (peace be upon him) in his dream: O Akif, to come to us, he says, are you reluctant? When He says this, he goes back on his word. He goes to his execution. Yes.
So we want the Quran, with words that do not contradict one another, to be made known to people.
My heart is burning.
They have translated this Quran like this. Fine, we have faith. They print the same verses in English.
They print the same verses in German. My heart is burning, my heart.
We too have had it written in English. We will have that printed too. We have also had it written in German. We will have that printed this way too. This is how we do our duty.
Yes.
Fear Allah. Do not call Ruhu'l-Kudüs Gabriel. No, such-and-such scholar says so. No, so-and-so scholar says this. Well, so-and-so scholar too says: Allah, that is, the holy spirit is Allah, he says. Why do you not accept what he says, but accept what the others say?
In the time of the Prophet (peace be upon him), the noble Companions did not bring out that Allah has a hand. They passed through hardship.
Of course, some said Allah has no hand. And some kept silent.
The one who keeps silent knows that Allah Almighty has a hand, but does not say it.
And the one who says You have no hand gives a fatwa according to his mind.
Or they, the Successors, so that no breach would open, tried to close it that way. Like whom? For example, Imam Malik, His Eminence, for Hacı Resvet, they say Allah's hand. Allah has no hand, he says. And Imam Ghazali says this about him.
Imam Malik too knows, he says, that Allah Almighty has a hand. But, he says, what you say is too open, he says. So that no superstition would enter among people, he says, sir, he tried to close it this way, he says.
Well, why does Imam Ghazali say this? And why do we say Allah has a hand? Come on, it says it in the verse. About idols: do they have a tongue that speaks, a hand that holds, a foot that walks, an eye that sees? What do they have, it says? And Allah says it Himself. Our Lord says this Himself. Well, how do you deny this verse too and say Allah has no hand?
Astonishing. Astonishing. Yes. Well, does this not amount to denying the verse? Do you know what saves them? Their faith. Because they do not deny knowingly. Yes.
There is nothing we can do but say, may Allah set them right.
We read the mistake once more, though we have explained it anyway. Let us read the verse, the wrong verse. This is verse 87. Indeed, We gave Moses the Book. After that We sent prophets one after another. And to Jesus, son of Mary, We gave miracles. Who says this? Allah says it, right? Allah says it. We gave miracles. And We supported him with Ruhu'l-Kudüs, Gabriel, it says. It says Gabriel. We supported him with Ruhu'l-Kudüs. And we: Ruhu'l-Kudüs, our Lord, We supported him, it says. We supported him. But whenever a messenger came telling you what your hearts desired, of the prophets who came to you, some you called liars, and some you killed, it says.
Here we have skipped a line. But whenever a messenger came telling you what your hearts desired, towards him you behaved arrogantly. Here, not what they desired, but whenever a messenger came telling what they did not desire, towards him you behaved arrogantly. Of the prophets who came to you, some you called liars, and some you killed. Now I am reading the correct one here.
By My majesty, We gave Moses the Torah. And after Moses We sent prophets one after another. To Jesus, son of Mary, We gave clear miracles such as reviving the dead. And I strengthened him with Ruhu'l-Kudüs, with My Being. And whenever a prophet came to you with a command your nafs would not like, you grew arrogant and were stubborn. Some of the prophets you called liars, and some you killed. Like Zechariah, John, Şahit. In parentheses here. Does it look like the other one now? Does it look like the wrong translation? Here, what these people did against those whom Allah Almighty Himself sent, here too, Gabriel this, Gabriel that, mixing and mixing it up.
Yes.
