The misinterpretation

If we abrogate a provision of a verse or make one forget it (postpone it), we will definitely bring a better or similar one. Don't you know that Allah is omnipotent?

The right translation

We send verses for your benefit and raise them to a higher meaning (according to time) so that you can understand them. Don’t you know that Allah is Almighty!

Explanation

Because they have misunderstood this verse, they say that there is neshah in the Holy Qur'an. That is, Allah abrogates one verse and sends another verse in its place. If such a thing had happened, Allah (swt) would have been qualified.

Allah (swt) would have developed Himself according to the condition of the people, and we excuse our Lord from this situation because He is complete and perfect. According to the verse, "There is not a single living creature that will come until the Day of Resurrection that we do not know what it will do", our Lord knows what the people who will come from our ancestor Adam until the Day of Resurrection will do.

He has sent His Verses to people in such a way that people can understand them. A Verse has many meanings. He wanted the first meaning of the same Verse to be applied to the people in the early times. When the minds started to progress, He sent His Verses in a higher meaning through Prophets in a way that people could understand. In this situation, just when the minds came into play, the Prophet (PBUH), who came as a mercy to the worlds, sent the Holy Qur'an.

So why did He not send the Qur'an to our father Adam at that time but sent it to the Prophet (SAW)? In the situation I have described above, since human minds were not fully engaged, with limited means, our Lord did not burden people with a burden they could not bear, so He sent His Verses in a way they could understand. As their intellects came into play, He sent Moses and the Torah to help them understand Allah's commands better. When people became a little more intelligent, He sent the Psalms, followed by the Bible, and finally, when their minds were fully engaged, He sent the Holy Prophet (PBUH), whom He sent as a Prophet, to gather the originals of the three books in the Qur'an and sent the Holy Qur'an to the people who will come until the Day of Judgment, since no Prophet will come again. This shows us that there is no prohibition in the Holy Quran. If the three books are in the Qur'an and He addressed the previous people with the lower meanings of these books, since those books are also in the Qur'an, our Lord sent His verses according to the higher meaning according to the situation of the people, in which case there is no prohibition in the Qur'an. Our Lord even says in His Verse: "What I said in the past is what I said in eternity".

As I have said above, if Allah (swt) had sent different Verses to the first people and different Verses to the later people, people would have been in doubt, and our Lord would have sent us Verses according to people's situations, unaware of what people would do. However, the Qur'an is enshrined in the Levh-i Mahfuz, written by the pure and clean hands of angels at a time when humans were not born. When the minds were fully engaged, Allah (swt) sent the Prophet (pbuh) to the world and the world was enlightened with the Prophet (pbuh). He sent down the Holy Qur'an on the 27th night of Ramadan on Sidre-i Munteha in the place called Qadr, as a light and a light as a mercy to the worlds. In this case, the Qur'an will now address people until the Day of Judgment.

What is said in the video

it apparently doesn't present. They're saying again, Hodja, could you correct these? Let's correct it. What does it say? Verse 106 of Surah Al-Baqarah. "If We abolish the ruling of a verse or cause it to be forgotten, postpone it" — this is where it ascribes attributes to Allah Almighty. What is Allah Almighty doing? He created people. He didn't know what they would do. And He sent them verses. Then He developed Himself. He realised His mistake and corrected it. You see, if a person fits Allah into his own mind and interprets the verse like this, then like this he says there is abrogation (naskh) in the Quran.

There is no naskh in the Quran. There isn't. I'm saying it once more: there isn't. Why isn't there? I'll tell you with knowledge. I'll tell you with Allah's verse. It says you may marry the People of the Book, you may not marry a polytheist, he says. When it says you may marry the People of the Book, you may not marry a polytheist, this verse was abrogated by this verse, he says. And Allah's good servant — the polytheist is an idolater; the People of the Book believe in Allah's prophets. The polytheists call you to the Fire, it says. Do not marry them, says Allah Almighty. But you may marry from the People of the Book, it says.

They know Allah and His messengers. If you confuse the polytheist with the People of the Book, of course you'll ascribe attributes to Allah like this. If with that half-baked mind, that half-baked mind of yours, you understand Allah's verses like this, of course you'll ascribe attributes to Allah like this. Yes. What does it say? "If We abolish the ruling of a verse and cause it to be forgotten." Well, when writing this like this, didn't you think of this verse at all? Doesn't this contradict the verse "Whatever We said in pre-eternity, so it is in eternity"? Huh? No... you had no knowledge, and so you interpret this like this, and here you write it as the translation, and you ascribe attributes to Allah Almighty too.

It burns one's heart, the heart, the heart burns. Yes. "Surely We bring a better one or a similar one", it says. Look, "surely a better one". Allah too develops Himself here. "Do you not know that Allah has power over all things?" Look, this time too: "Do you not know?" Has power over all things.

That is, He is free of deficient attributes. Look how beautiful. Free of deficient attributes. Well, what have you done to it here now?

Whereas: "According to the time, We change the verses into a higher meaning, in a way you will understand, and send them for your good", it says. Look, "into a higher meaning". Because what He said to people at a time when technology had not advanced, when minds had not come into play, is one thing. Saying the same things, at the time when technology or people's minds have come into play, in a way they will understand, opening them up and saying them more beautifully, is another. What does this correspond to? The meaning of which verse does it fall under? We do not load onto your backs a burden you cannot carry, it says.

So Allah Almighty explains the same verses according to each person's situation. And according to the development of the human mind, He explains the same verses to people by opening them up. Where here, where? Where here have I ascribed attributes to Allah, you scoundrel? Yes. It truly burns one's heart.

We say it again, we read the verse. "According to the time, We change the verses into a higher meaning, in a way you will understand, and send them for your good. Do you not know that Allah has power over all things?" We know what We will do. There is not a single living being to come until the Last Day whose deeds He wouldn't know. What are you saying? We've already written this below. According to this verse, they made this verse abrogate that verse. Whereas we've said there is no naskh in the Holy Quran.
