Al-Baqarah 272: It is not your responsibility to give them guidance, but guidance is given to whoever wishes to be guided from Allah. Whatever you spend (on the path) of good, you spend for yourselves. But (already) you spend only for Allah’s contentedness. Whatever you give (on the path) of good things, a full reward will be given to you and you will not be wronged.

The misinterpretation
It is not your duty to guide them, but Allah guides whom He wills to the straight path. Whatever charity you give out of charity, you give for your own soul. You already give for the sake of Allah. Whatever you give as charity will be given to you in full and you will not be persecuted.
The right translation
It is not your responsibility to give them guidance, but guidance is given to whoever wishes to be guided from Allah. Whatever you spend (on the path) of good, you spend for yourselves. But (already) you spend only for Allah’s contentedness. Whatever you give (on the path) of good things, a full reward will be given to you and you will not be wronged.
Explanation
In Verse 269, the footnote of wishing has been opened. Since the same mistake was made in this verse, the footnote of verse 269 has been added.
Here is the verse that has been opened incorrectly: But Allah guides whom He wills. When our Lord created our souls in the realm of Lahut and told them that I am your Lord, our souls were divided into three groups. Rightists, leftists and the mukarrebun class.
Our Lord made a covenant with people without interfering with their will. Our Lord has written the desires and wishes of each person as their destiny. In that case, if our Lord gives wisdom to whomever He wills, He would be discriminating between people and our Lord's justice would be nullified.
In the Elestu bi Rabbikum address, according to their closeness to our Lord and their love and affection for our Lord, our Lord graded people and according to their situation, according to their closeness to our Lord, He gave wisdom to those with a high degree of faith. Or else our Lord did not give wisdom to whomever He willed.
Because these Verses were misinterpreted in this way, people would not be irresponsible in their duties towards the commands of our Lord. People would not be relieved of their responsibilities towards our Lord. If people knew their responsibility towards Allah (swt) and knew that they would be held accountable for everything they did, for what they did to our Lord, then people would be held accountable towards our Lord, the Creator of the worlds, and today's immorality would not have arisen due to people's irresponsible behavior towards our Lord.
What is said in the video
we say. Guiding them is not your obligation, says Allah Almighty. Yes. But I'm reading the verse that is wrong. I will read the verse that is wrong.
Then I'll explain it to you. I'll tell you where its mistake is.
Guiding them is not your obligation. But when it says 'Allah guides whom He wills to the right path', here 'whom He wills' — over the people Allah wills, sir, removing the will, He Himself does not use will over man again. Why doesn't Allah Almighty use it? Because He made a covenant with people at the address 'Elestü bi-Rabbiküm'. He wrote their wishes and desires for them as destiny. So, to prove what kind of people they are, He clothed people in the world in flesh and bone. Outwardly He gave them appearance with a body. So with all the wishes and desires we have in this world, with the judgments we make within our own will, we earn reward and sin.
So there is no willing of Allah Almighty over us. If there had been, Allah Almighty would be ascribed attributes; He would have created some as disbelievers, some as Muslims. Yes, whatever good you give in charity, you give it for your own selves; this too is right. Let's explain one more sentence at the beginning. Page 45, verse 272. Let's go through these openly. Guiding them is not your obligation. Why? It is not an obligation. Because every person — in the divine realm, when Allah Almighty created our souls, separately with them, in Surah Al-A'raf, verse 172, He made a covenant with us. The scenario of the covenant each of us gave to Allah Almighty He wrote for us as destiny. Since no one can ever change those destinies again, since no one, even a prophet, can change anyone else's destiny, sir, guiding them is not a duty for anyone.
Allah Almighty also says: guiding them is not your obligation. But Allah guides whom He wills to the right path, it says. This is wrong. If Allah Almighty had guided whom He wills to the right path, Allah Almighty He would be given attributes. Why then non-Muslims today in that way. sir, He would have created them as non-Muslims. Why the Muslim? He would have created him as a Muslim. Yet here: but guidance is granted from Allah to whoever wills it, here. Let's read this wrong version once. Then, reading the correct one, let's explain it based on the correct one. Guiding them is not your obligation.
But Allah guides whom He wills to the right path. Whatever good you give in charity, you give it for your own selves. You give only for Allah's pleasure anyway. Whatever you give as good will be repaid to you in full, and you will not be wronged, says Allah Almighty. Yes. Now we are reading the correct version here. Guiding them is not your obligation. We explained this part to you a little while ago. When we made the covenant with Allah Almighty at the call 'Am I not your Lord', each of our covenants He Himself wrote there for us as a scenario, and it was laid down for us as destiny. But guidance is granted from Allah to whoever wills it.
Whatever good you give in charity, you give it for your own selves. Of course. 'Whatever good', it says. What do we do good for? We do it to win the pleasure of Allah Almighty. Sir, what happens then? Whoever does a good deed for Allah — we will have done good for our own selves. What does this mean? In the hereafter, in a way pleasing to Allah Almighty, we have had reward written for ourselves, and our Lord, in return for these rewards, will there raise our rank. You give only for Allah's pleasure anyway. It says so here as well. Whatever you give as good will be repaid to you in full. Where? In the hereafter.
And you will not be wronged, it says. Yes. How beautifully Allah Almighty puts it. If a Muslim does good deeds in the world for Allah, Allah Almighty will receive him in the hereafter with a smiling face. Because his rewards outweigh his sins, according to his rank He has him placed in his place in the highest Paradise.
