The right translation

“Our Lord! After we have found guidance, make our hearts firm, do not bend them. Give us mercy from You. Verily, You are Wahhab (Bestowing).

Explanation

This is where the mistake is made: (After He has guided us to the right path). Allah (swt) does not interfere in anything that people do in this world. Because He made a covenant with people at Kalu Bela. He has written the desires and wishes of people as their destiny.

The reason why Allah sent us into the world is to make Allah's attribute of being Allah manifest so that people will be cut off from questions to Allah (swt). In this case, our Lord says, did you think that you would die without proving what kind of a person you are? According to this situation, Our Lord does not guide anyone to the right path. But because He is merciful to mankind, He sends them Books and Prophets so that they may find the right path.

So the truth of this verse is: It will be after we are guided. It is our prayer to our Lord, saying, 'Have mercy on us and strengthen our hearts.

What is said in the video

Verse 8 — let's read it. They implore like this: Our Lord, after You have guided us to the right path, do not let our hearts swerve. This wrong version — grant us mercy from Your side. You are the one whose grace is most abundant. Now I'm telling you the wrong part. Here they implore like this: Our Lord, after we have attained guidance. Look: the person, by his own wish and desire. Not, as they translated it, 'after You guided us to the right path' — if He guided Öbben to the right path, if He guided Ahmet and Mehmet to the right path, let Him guide the disbeliever too. Why doesn't He guide him? Why do you ascribe attributes to Allah Almighty, then?

Why do you translate this verse in a way that ascribes attributes to Allah Almighty, and not in a way that frees Him from this ascribing? Yes. So did you squeeze Allah Almighty into your head and, as a result of your own knowledge, slander Allah to people, saying 'Allah said so'?

After we have attained guidance, our hearts — strengthen them, do not let them swerve. Look, we are praying: strengthen our hearts.

This is not the Battle of the Trench, nor Tabuk either, no —

in a battle; the Battle of the Trench, probably. At Uhud, at Uhud, at Uhud, at Mount Uhud, when they were defeated while winning. Because they didn't listen to the word of the Prophet (peace be upon him), the horsemen under the command of Khalid ibn al-Walid, sir — at that time Khalid ibn al-Walid was on the side of the polytheists — under his command; and when victory was achieved, the people whom the Messenger of Allah told 'watch these, don't leave their side, their front' also, in the intoxication of that victory, went after the enemy, after the polytheists, and then Khalid ibn al-Walid this time wins the battle that had gone so far; then they scatter. In the Battle of Uhud even the Prophet's (peace be upon him) tooth was broken. And they shouted that he was dead.

Yet the Messenger of Allah says: I am alive. Come, he says, come, he says, and gathers them, his companions. They were all in despair, beside themselves. We, He says, rained a mercy upon you. Sir, We gave you sleep, He says. We strengthened your hearts, He says. Yes. How beautiful; here too we are praying we pray anyway; what do we say: after we are guided, strengthen our hearts do not let them swerve, grant us mercy from Your side. Surely You are the Bestower, we say. Yes, this is life's counterpart.
