What is said in the video
the Creator. In verse seventy-four, too, there is a wrong translation. He gives His mercy to whom He wills. Allah is the Possessor of great bounty, it says. He gives His mercy to whoever wills it. Not to whom He wills. If it is to whom He wills, an attribute is ascribed to Allah Almighty. Because all His creatures are Allah's servants. He would be discriminating among His servants, which what does it resemble? Let's give an example along with a hadith. Let a father have a thousand, fifteen hundred children. Or let's make it smaller, there aren't that many, but there are those with twenty, those with twenty-five children.
Now they say to the Prophet (peace be upon him): Whom do they call unjust? Unjust. Whom do they call that? he says. The Prophet (peace be upon him) says: A father who discriminates between his children is also unjust. So if all this humanity and the created universe were created by Allah, if Allah discriminates between His creatures, wouldn't He be unjust? Yes. Yet Allah, look what His verse says, does not intend wrong for people. Listen well. Allah does not wrong any soul; you wrong your own souls, says Allah Almighty. In this case, doesn't the hadith I mentioned prove this? Allah Almighty treats His creatures equally. But whoever is close to Allah, Him He rewards.
