The right translation

Whatever there is in the heavens and the earth, it belongs to Allah. Allah forgives those who wish to be forgiven and punishes those who desire to be punished. Allah is Ghafoor (Forgiving) and Raheem (the One who very generously accepts repentance).

Explanation

In these Verses, in many places, there will be Verses that are misinterpreted as Our Lord forgives whom He wills and torments whom He wills. As we have explained the meanings of these Verses in other Verses, we will repeat them.

The place where this verse is wrong is when they say: (Allah forgives whom He wills). Our Lord does not discriminate between people. If we elaborate on this point, it will be better understood.

Allah (swt) created man as a particle of His Spirit. He gave man a mind to govern himself and to judge himself with his own will. In this case, He made a covenant with human beings. Our Lord says in the 172nd verse of Surah A'râf: (172- He made the descendants of the children of Adam to bear witness against themselves, that you may not say on the Day of Resurrection that we were unaware of this, and said: I am your Lord. (They said) yes, we bear witness (to that).

So after man was created in the realm of Lahut, when he made a covenant with Allah (swt), what did he ask of our Lord, and Allah (swt) gave man what he wanted and wrote his destiny, what does Allah (swt) want from man if Allah (swt) removes His will from man and our Lord exercises His will on man? If Allah, who has the power and might, puts whom He wills in Paradise and whom He wills in Hell, if He creates whoever He wills as a disbeliever and whoever He wills as a Muslim, if He bestows His mercy on whomever He wills and withholds His mercy from whomever He wills, are we not characterizing our Lord by making Allah (swt) unjust among His servants?

This world is the shadow of the Hereafter. In this world, if people disobey the laws of the state, cheat people, kill people, etc., and commit crimes outside the laws of the state, and are caught and sent to prison for their crimes, did the judge send these people to prison, or did they punish themselves for their crimes? Of course, they are punishing themselves for their crimes.

So when people make a covenant with Allah (swt) in Elestu bi Rabbikum with our Lord, if their own desires and wishes have become their destiny, and if people are punished or rewarded for the actual deeds they have done with their desires and wishes within this destiny, they will be rewarded for the deeds they have done. In this case, Allah (swt) does not have any will over people in the worldly realm because of the decisions they make of their own will while they are living. Those who ask Allah will go to heaven and those who ask Allah will go to hell.

This is entirely the result of the actual actions of human beings based on the decisions they make within their own will. Those who ask Allah for guidance will be guided. Those who turn their backs on Allah and do not embrace the religion of Islam, those who rebel against the commands of our Lord, those who disregard the laws of Allah, those who associate partners with Allah, or those who obey the verses of Allah's revelations that suit them and deny the others, will surely be punished accordingly and they will be included in Hell, the place of torment.

What is said in the video

We've come to verse 129. Whatever is in the heavens and on earth belongs to Allah. He forgives whom He wills and punishes whom He wills. Oh, how fine, how fine a country! He takes our will away from us. Well, if Allah Almighty, after taking our will away from me, punishes me, how how? Fa-man ya'mal mithqala dharratin khayran yarah: I will record an atom's weight of good. How is this? Fa-man ya'mal mithqala dharratin sharran yarah: I will record an atom's weight of evil. And look, Allah, look what else it says. This is very interesting. He forgives whom He wills, He punishes whom He wills. He did this. Allah will forgive a lot.

Well, why will He forgive a lot? and punish whom He wills?

As in, for some, the excuse is bigger than the fault.

Let's read the verse once more. Whatever is in the heavens and on earth belongs to Allah. He forgives whom He wills, He punishes whom He wills. It says Allah will forgive a lot and is very merciful. How is that? If He punishes whom He wills, how is that mercy? But look now. Look at Allah's justice. Allah is the owner of justice. Whatever is in the heavens and on earth belongs to Allah. He forgives whoever among you asks. Whoever asks Allah for forgiveness. He forgives the one who asks. And He punishes the one who wills it. Yes. Allah is Most Forgiving and Most Merciful. That is, however deep in kufr you are, if, when you return to Allah Almighty, my dear, and say "forgive me", there is no sin that Allah Almighty will not forgive.

Yes.
