Ali 'Imran 140: If you have suffered harm (in the battle of Uhud), this group (who were your enemies during the battle of Badr) also suffered similar harm. We alternate those days among mankind so that Allah will reveal those who have believed and take martyrs from among you. Allah does not like those who (continue to) commit oppression.

The misinterpretation

If you (in Uhud) suffered a pain, that nation (who was your enemy in Badr) suffered a similar pain. We rotate those days among us people. That Allah will reveal the believers and take martyrs from among you. Allah does not love the oppressors.

The right translation

If you have suffered harm (in the battle of Uhud), this group (who were your enemies during the battle of Badr) also suffered similar harm. We alternate those days among mankind so that Allah will reveal those who have believed and take martyrs from among you. Allah does not like those who (continue to) commit oppression.

Explanation

This is where the verse is wrong: They say: Allah does not love wrongdoers. The truth is: Allah does not love those who continue to be wrongdoers. We human beings are not created free from mistakes. We are bound to make mistakes and commit sins. We may knowingly or unknowingly usurp people's rights and laws or oppress people. In this case, if we repent and turn to our Lord, our Lord will forgive us, for there is no other god but Allah. If our Lord did not love the wrongdoers, He would not have waited for the wrongdoer until his last breath to turn back from his wrongdoing. Our Lord does not love those who pass on to the Hereafter as oppressors outside Islam.

What is said in the video

Surah Al Imran, page 66, verse 140. Yes. If you suffered a wound at Uhud, the people who were your enemy at Badr also suffered a similar wound. Those days We rotate among people, so that Allah may bring out those who believe and take martyrs from among you. Allah does not love the wrongdoers, it says. It's right up to the end, but there is a word; it ascribes an attribute to Allah Almighty. And how does it ascribe it? With injustice. Look now, I'm reading to the end. At the end, one word. If you suffered a wound at Uhud, the people who were your enemy at Badr also suffered a similar wound. Those days We rotate among people.

So that Allah may bring out those who believe and take martyrs from among you. Allah does not love those who persist in wrongdoing. Not "does not love the wrongdoers". Well, are there no wrongdoers among Muslims? There are. Then he turns back. "My Allah, forgive me," he says. He becomes a servant whom Allah loves. Well now, Allah here — you loved him, er, didn't love him. Here He loved him too. It brings Allah down to the way a person thinks in his head. Well, if you do wrong, you say "you're no good, go away". Then when you do good, you say "come". "You're a good person," you say. You can't expect such a thing from Allah.

If Allah says wrongdoer, he is a wrongdoer. He is a wrongdoer. All of them are (?) hell, because He knows. How does He know? He knows from when we made the covenant at the address of Elestü bi Rabbiküm. And why, He says? In Surah Ta-Ha too: so that you prove what kind of person you are We sent you here, it says. Allah Almighty has the attribute of being God. No one will be able to question Him. In this case, He brought us into this world solely for the manifestation of His attribute of being God. So that we prove what kind of person we are, He creates causes for us, and through our actual deeds in those causes we earn reward and sin.

Yes. So Allah does not love those who persist in wrongdoing. Why? When it says "does not love the wrongdoers", it also contradicts this verse. We did not create man free of error, it says. Well, if we are at fault, if I did wrong knowingly or unknowingly, well, You created me that way, and I did it. Then He says "ask forgiveness from Me", "repent", "I will forgive you", He says. I repented, forgave, He forgave me. Well now, when it says "does not love the wrongdoer", is this really in line with the verses? These people have rendered the verses after their own minds.
