Ali 'Imran 154: After that sorrow, Allah has sent down security upon you so that some of you were overcome by light sleep. And another group which was overcome by fear for their lives was having unlawful thoughts - from the time of ignorance - towards Allah, saying “is this our concern?” Say “the matter (victory, help and all decisions and orders) belong to Allah”. They hide in them what they cannot reveal to you. They say, “if there were anything concerning us, we would not be killed here”. Say “even if you stayed at your homes, for those for whom death was determined, they would go to the place of their death by themselves”. Since Allah knows what is in your hearts, (Allah did this) to purify you from what you have in your hearts. Allah truthfully knows that which is inside you.

The misinterpretation
Then, after that grief, Allah sent down a trust for you that the state of drowsiness (caused by this trust) covered some of you. A group of people who are worried about their own selves are unjustly inclined towards Allah with thoughts similar to those in the Age of Ignorance. What did they call us about this business? Say it! The work (victory and help, the decision and command of everything) belongs entirely to Allah. What they cannot reveal to you, they hide inside. They say, if anything had happened to us, we wouldn't have been killed here. Say it like this; Even if you had stayed in your homes, those who were ordained to be killed would have left of their own accord to the places where they were killed. Allah knows all that is in you (he did so) in order to feel what is in your hearts and to purify your hearts.
The right translation

Explanation
There is a misunderstanding in this verse and it is this: Allah has done this to test what is in you and to purify what is in your hearts. The correct meaning of the verse is: Allah knows what is in you, so He has done this to purify what is in your hearts. When it is said that he searched their hearts for our Lord, it contradicts the next verse. Allah says that He knows all that is in you. Our Lord does not need to search people's hearts. Our Lord knows the secrets of our hearts. He knows what our hearts conceal and what they will reveal in many verses. He says in the 74th verse of Surah al-Naml: Surely your Lord knows what their hearts conceal and what they reveal.
What is said in the video
Alasan asked this, Çağlasan. Mashallah. Yes.
Surah Al Imran, verse 154. Here much is correct; in one place a mistake has been made. That's why we marked it in red. First let's read the wrong one. Then, after that grief, Allah sent down upon you a security, such that the drowsiness the drowsiness it brought on was overcoming some of you. And a group, anxious about their own lives, their own lives, unjustly fell into thoughts about Allah like those of the age of ignorance. This, my dear, at Medina the Radiant, the rout suffered at Uhud, turned the victory that had been won into defeat. Because they didn't heed the order. How did they not heed the order of the Prophet (peace be upon him)?
In the intoxication of that victory, when they too went after it — the Messenger of Allah says, "Don't take your eyes off those horses, and unless they move, don't you dare move from your places."
When they went against this order of the Messenger of Allah, they, from behind, Khalid bin Walid, who later becomes Muslim too — The war that had been won — they turn it in their favor. That is, the disbelievers; they were idolaters back then. They turn it in their favor. Now what does Allah Almighty say? They fall into thoughts like those of the age of ignorance. "What is there for us in this matter?" they were saying. Say: the matter, victory, help, the decision and command of everything belong entirely to Allah. These parts have all come out correct anyway. They hide within them what they cannot disclose to you.
"If we had had any say in this matter, we would not have been killed here," they say.
Say this: even if you had stayed in your homes, those for whom being killed was decreed would have gone out on their own to the places where they would fall killed. Allah, to probe what is within you, to cleanse what is in your hearts, what is in your hearts, did this. Allah knows all that is within you. This last sentence ascribes attributes to Allah Almighty, and there is a self-contradicting statement here. That is, in one place it says white, in another black. Now let's open this up. Where does it say white, where does it say black?
Allah to probe what is within us. Now Allah doesn't know what they are; He tests the person. What will he do? Pay attention here now. He probes him. That is, what will he do? Will he act well or will he act badly? He probes him. To probe. To cleanse what is in your hearts. To cleanse the hearts. Let's say, fine, He probed, and the man was good, and, let me tell you, He'll cleanse his heart. Now the word after it, look, it says He did this. Allah knows all that is within you. Then why did He probe? That is, contradictory (?) words — Allah's word, like this (?) — Allah, on the straight path (?) leads astray? Oh, you render this after your own mind.
How will you render that part? Because Allah knows what is within you, He did this to cleanse what is in your hearts. Look. Because He knows what is within you, to cleanse what is in your hearts He did this. Allah knows all that is within you. Fine, He already knows what is within you. He does it to cleanse that. But where does "probe" come from?
Yes. That is, make it up and say it. Oh, when a person renders it, a little — I mean, this is Allah's word. This is Allah's word.
You can't render it after your own mind.
Yes.
