An-Nisa 84: Fight in the way of Allah. You are only responsible for yourself. And encourage the believers, too. Thus, Allah will break the power of the disbelievers. (Allah will prevent the deniers from hurting you with their power). Allah has more power and Allah’s punishment is more severe.

The misinterpretation

Now fight in the way of Allah. You are not held responsible for anyone but yourself. Encourage believers too. It is hoped that Allah will break the power of the unbelievers (prevent them from harming you with their power) Allah's power is more severe and the punishment is more severe.

The right translation

Fight in the way of Allah. You are only responsible for yourself. And encourage the believers, too. Thus, Allah will break the power of the disbelievers. (Allah will prevent the deniers from hurting you with their power). Allah has more power and Allah’s punishment is more severe.

Explanation

This is where this verse goes wrong: They have used the word "hopefully". However, Allah (swt) does not leave anything in limbo, He says everything with certainty and clarity. Here the word "hopefully" is absent. The truth is: In this case Allah will break the power of the disbelievers. It is hoped that if we remove the word "hopefully", the meaning of the verse will be fulfilled.

In fact, in the continuation of the verse our Lord says that Allah breaks the power of the disbelievers, that is, He prevents them from harming you with their power. Here it is as if our Lord has taken sides. This means that when our Lord made a covenant with the people, our Lord, who knows the secrets of their hearts, engraved the desires and wishes of the people as characters for them. If the meanings of many verses here are known, our Lord will inform us how the power of non-Muslims was broken with justice.

In this case, He informs us of the breaking of the power of non-Muslims with the following Verses: For example, Our Lord says in His Verse: "Their hearts are scattered and restless. Surah Al-Imran 11: If they try to fight, they will turn their backs on you and flee. In the 22nd Verse of Surat al-Fatih: If those who disbelieve were to fight you, they would turn their backs and flee, then they would find neither a friend nor a helper. Our Lord, who informs us in many verses about the non-Muslims turning their backs and running away, informs us about the character of the non-Muslims when He made a covenant with them. Otherwise, our Lord does not interfere in what people do on earth.

What is said in the video

There's verse eighty-four.

This one too – one word attributes something to Allah Almighty here. We'll say just one word about it. Now fight in the way of Allah. You are not held responsible on account of anyone but yourself. How well it says it. Allah Almighty: everyone is responsible for himself. No one is responsible for anyone else. And urge the believers on. It is hoped that Allah will break the strength of the disbelievers. If the phrase ‘it is hoped that’ is here, it attributes that to Allah Almighty. He will prevent them from harming you with their strength. Allah's power is more severe and His punishment more intense.

Whereas here this word 'it is hoped that' is certainly the word la'alla. Verse 84. Let's see here. 83. Yes. Fî sebîlillâh, lâ tükellefü illâ nefseke ve harridı'l-mü'minîn. Asallâhu en yekuffe be'sellezîne keferû, vallâhu eşeddü be'sen ve eşeddü tenkîlâ. 84. verse. Lâ tükellefü illâ nefseke ve harridı müminin. Urge on the believers. Asa Allahu an yakuffa ba'sa alladhina kafaru. Sir, wallahu ashaddu ba'san wa ashaddu tankila. Yes. What do we say here? Allah – now fight in the way of Allah. You are not held responsible on account of anyone but yourself. And urge the believers on. In that case Allah will break the strength of the disbelievers.

He will prevent them from harming you with their strength. Allah's power is more severe and His punishment more intense. Here the word la'alla mostly uses the word 'until'. But the word la'alla also has this meaning: it can be like this, it can be like that, it can also mean 'until'. Here the word la'alla does not appear anyway. And here, what does it say here? Urge the believers on. In that case Allah will break the strength of the disbelievers, and prevent them from harming you with their strength. Allah's power is more severe and His punishment more intense. This verse – do you know where we'll bring it?

We'll bring it to what is happening in our time. Israel keeps striking Islam, a cursed people keeps beating Islam, striking, smashing, sparing neither women nor children – the cowards that are a terror state. Here the Islamic world, with Palestinian flags in their hands – don't, stop, don't strike, don't smash – they're in a begging state. Whereas look what Allah Almighty says here now. Now fight in the way of Allah. Come on, go in now, I mean, go in. This isn't about protecting some Ahmet or Mehmet.

This is our first qibla. At first, the Prophet (peace be upon him), when the command of prayer came, towards Al-Aqsa Mosque turned. Our first qibla, the qibla of the Christians, the first qibla of the religions, a qibla towards which Allah Almighty's first qibla on earth, directed to His own being this place: the duty that falls on every Muslim to protect it. Well, in that case this man may commit treachery here as he pleases. May kill without sparing women and children. And you beg America. Beg the United Nations security forces. Beg the United Nations so that he stops. What does Allah Almighty say?

Now fight in the way of Allah. Come on, plant your flag now, whatever comes. Allah is with you. What does He say? You are not held responsible for anyone other than yourself Fine – and urge the believers on, He says. Today, friend, this state – forget the state. Jerusalem is ours, our Jerusalem, our qibla. Entrusted to us by Allah, there are 3 holy places on earth. Al-Aqsa Mosque, the Prophet's Mosque and the Haram Sharif. Whoever reaches out a hand to these, those hands will be broken by Islam. And what does Allah Almighty say? Look now, what does it say here? In that case Allah will break the strength of the disbelievers.

Once you are with Allah, whom will you fear? Well, we have already sacrificed our lives. This isn't with words. With faith. In that case He will prevent them from harming you with their strength. They are cowards anyway. Cowards. They only fight, He says, behind strong fortresses, He says.

Allah's power is more severe and His punishment more intense, it says. Just you go into action, let's see. Keep your deeds and your intention good. Take Allah as your backing. Set out for Allah's sake, let's see. What will Allah do for you?

Yes. Now let's agree on this. Let's unite here. Let's do it like this. It's past arguing now. This man is the sedition of the earth. Sedition – a cursed people. You can't just tell him to stop. If he stops here, he'll blow things up there. He'll stir up his sedition somewhere else. Sedition is worse than killing, says Allah Almighty.

In this situation the Islamic countries are guilty.

All of them are guilty.

Is the Republic of Turkey guilty too?

Unless it steps in in a way that seriously puts an end to this, it is guilty too.

What are we basing this on? Why, those at the top say it themselves. The arrow has left the bow, they say. Don't they say that? This business has now gone beyond its limits, they say. So? Well, we've taken it upon ourselves to protect the oppressed, we're protecting the oppressed. We're helping them. Well, now we helped the Red Crescent, so they would help our brothers.

Its hospital is finished. Sir, its ambulances are finished. Finished, I mean. Well now, in this situation, the man strikes. We try to replace what they strike. We pay the non-Muslim for ambulances, for this and that. They profit from both sides. Will this man stop?

Yes.

By Allah, we are all guilty. The one who stays silent is guilty too. The one who stays silent is a mute devil.

Say as much as you like. Look. As long as you don't put it into action. Yes.
