The misinterpretation

It is hoped that Allah will forgive them. Allah is very forgiving, very forgiving.

The right translation

Allah will forgive them. Allah is Pardons the Most (Afuww) and Oft-Forgiving (Ghafoor).

Explanation

This is where this verse goes wrong: It is hoped that they have used the word "hopefully". However, Allah (swt) does not leave anything in limbo, He says everything with certainty and clarity. Here the word "hopefully" is absent. It is the truth: The word until. The meaning of "until" is: This is a demonstrative pronoun. Our Lord has used the word "until" because He knows that those who live in disbelief among a people will eventually become Muslims. That is, except for these people who will ask forgiveness from our Lord and convert to Islam.

What is said in the video

There is verse ninety-nine; this one too has been explained wrongly. Where has it been explained wrongly? "These, it is hoped that Allah forgives." Now, Allah doesn't know who will be forgiven; "you come," it says, "repent to Allah, it is hoped that Allah forgives you." Now, how many verses does this statement contradict? Look, now I'll tell you. Hodja, if you say you should open that up, I'll tell you that here. "These, it is hoped that Allah forgives." Let's read this from a bit further up. "Except the men, women and children who are truly helpless, unable to find any means and unable to find any way," it says.

Then what does it say? "These, it is hoped that Allah forgives." That is, you just come to Allah, turn back to Allah, perhaps Allah will forgive you. Whereas for one who turns to Allah, since there is no god other than Allah, there is no sin He would not forgive. All people, as long as they turn back to Allah from the heart with longing, however sinful they may be. That's one. Second, Allah Almighty "accepts your prayers," it says. Well, the person has prayed to Allah Almighty for pardon and forgiveness of his past. Well, it also goes against this verse. Third, is there some god other than Allah, that he should go to his door and take refuge there? After repenting, or when he is about to repent, he will take refuge in Allah. That is why the phrase "it is hoped that" is wrong here.

these too, those too, so that those among them who are sincere in their deeds Look, this is in parentheses; this part has to be explained now. Because for the Arabic word there is no word in Turkish to match it, no word that fits it exactly. It only works by explaining. Through this explanation we find the meaning of that word. So: "these too, so that," that is, those among them who are sincere, according to their intentions, Allah forgives. Allah is Most Pardoning, Most Forgiving. Yes.
