Al-Ma'idah 16: For those who seek Allah’s contentedness, Allah shows the paths of salvation with it (Qur’an). And they (people) leave darkness, attain enlightenment by their own will, and enter a straight path.

Explanation
The misinterpretation
Allah takes those who seek His consent to the path of salvation with him and brings them out of the darkness to the light with his will, and guides them to a straight path.
The right translation
For those who seek Allah’s contentedness, Allah shows the paths of salvation with it (Qur’an). And they (people) leave darkness, attain enlightenment by their own will, and enter a straight path.
Explanation
This is where this verse goes wrong: He guides to a straight path. Here, people will receive rewards and sins for their actions of their own will. Since Allah does not interfere with anyone in the worldly realm, those who use their intellect through their own actions can choose the right path and follow it, or they can follow their egoistic feelings and lead themselves into darkness and torment in the Hereafter. In this case, our Lord will neither guide people to the right path nor bring them out of darkness into the light. Each person chooses his own path within his own destiny. They have always characterized Allah (swt) as the decider over people, and they have always characterized Our Lord (swt) as unjust among His servants by discriminating between people. However, in return for what people do of their own free will, our Lord will judge between them with justice, Alaysallahu bi ahkamil hakimin, i.e. Allah is the Judge of Judges, and no one will be wronged.
What is said in the video
We will learn that. And we will also answer your questions.
Verse 16 of Surah Al-Ma'idah has also been rendered wrongly. Whoever seeks, seeks His pleasure, Allah leads by it to the paths of salvation and by His will brings them out of the darkness into the light and guides them to a straight path, it says. Here. Now, Allah does not guide anyone, anyone, to anything. Nor does He guide them to any path. Because at the address 'Elestü bi-Rabbiküm' He made a covenant with people. He wrote their wishes and desires, their aims, for them as their destiny. And when these people come into the world according to that covenant, everyone writes their own script in return for the covenant they gave, and the role in the script they had written, in the world, sir, actually creating, carrying it out, they prove what kind of person they are.
Now what does it say here? To whoever seeks His pleasure, Allah shows by it, that is, by the Quran, the paths of salvation. This one is also roughly the same. Whoever seeks His pleasure, Allah shows by it the paths of salvation. Right. 'Leads to the paths of salvation.' Here: shows the paths of salvation. Does not lead to the paths of salvation. Now, leading is one thing, showing is another. Leading takes away your very own will. You follow it and it takes you along. That's leading. For example, a guide. You've come to a city. You're going to tour a city. What will you do? You need a guide. You don't know the city. You follow that guide.
Wherever the guide goes, takes you, you go. That is what leading is. Showing: it shows you the paths. Within your own will, do whatever you do. So what shows is the Holy Quran. What shows. One must pay great attention to words. Words. Here it ascribes attributes to Allah Almighty. What does it say? 'Whoever seeks His pleasure, Allah by it to the paths of salvation leads,' it says. Whereas what do we say? We don't say it. Allah Almighty says this. To whoever seeks His pleasure, Allah, by it, by the Quran, that is, shows the paths of salvation. What does it say next? 'And by their will out of the darkness into the light He brings them.' Look how nicely it puts it now.
'By His will.' Now, 'by His will' is one thing, his will.
His leading is one thing, the will within a person, His showing, is another. One must pay great attention to these points.
Here too: 'by His will brings them out of the darkness into the light and guides them to a straight path,' it says. He does not guide. He shows a straight path. Now we read the correct form of it. To whoever seeks His pleasure, Allah shows by it, that is, by the Quran, the paths of salvation. And they, that is, people, by their own will, out of the darkness into the light come out, and enter a straight path. How beautiful. So will a person not be called to account for what he does? Will Allah Almighty, not interfering with what we do, by our own actual deeds not call us to account? There, by what we do. How beautiful.
We do everything. Now here there is Allah's making one do, and there is a person's doing. Now, without explaining this further, having explained this much to you, first read the wrong one, the wrong one, then read the right one. Look how clearly you will understand this. 'Whoever seeks His pleasure, Allah leads by it to the paths of salvation and by His will brings them out of the darkness into the light, and guides them to a straight path.' A person will enter the straight path by his own will. Then Allah Almighty will guide him. Whereas: to whoever seeks His pleasure, Allah, by it, by the Quran, the paths of salvation shows. And they, that is, people, by their own will, out of the darkness into the light come out. They enter a straight path.
Yes.
