Al-Ma'idah 41: Oh My Messenger! Those who talk (and say; “we believe”) while their hearts don’t believe, and the ones among the Jews who compete in denial should not sadden you. They continuously listen to lies, listen to people who don’t come to you and change and swap the words from their places. They say, “if this is given to you, take it immediately, but if it is not given, abstain”. If someone desires to be ignorant about Allah, you will not be able to do anything in favor of this person against Allah. Those are the ones who do not desire their hearts to be purified by Allah. On this earth, there is disgrace for them and in the hereafter, there is great punishment for them.

The misinterpretation

O Messenger! Do not be upset by those who say (we believe) with their mouths while their hearts do not believe, and those of the Jews who run in disbelief. They constantly listen to lies and listen to (some) people who do not come to you, they shift words from their places. If you are given this, they say, take it immediately, if it is not given, beware. If Allah wants to mislead someone (fitna), you cannot do anything against Allah in his favor. They are people whose hearts Allah does not want to purify. For them there is disgrace in this world, and in the Hereafter there is a great punishment for them.

The right translation

Oh My Messenger!

Explanation

This is where this verse is wrong: They are those whose hearts Allah does not wish to purify. The truth is: They are those whose hearts Allah does not want to purify.

Allah wants His servants to return to Him. When people make a covenant with Allah (swt) in the address Elestu bi Rabbikum, the people who deny our Lord are the ones who are waiting for the Lord of their own dreams. When those who write their covenants as deniers of our Lord come to the worldly realm, they play the scripts they have written in the Hereafter as an artist in the world. In this case, since such people will live their destiny in the worldly realm, people who deny our Lord will of course not want to have their hearts cleansed because they will live their destiny in this realm.

So, when people make a covenant with Allah (swt) in the Elestu bi Rabbikum address, their own desires and wishes become their destiny. Within this destiny, people are either punished or rewarded for the actual deeds they have done with their desires and wishes. They will be rewarded for their own actions. In this case, the Truth of the Verse: They are the ones who do not want Allah to purify their hearts.

What is said in the video

over people is complete, it says. It never fails. Yes.

In verse 41: O Messenger! The state of those who say 'we believe' with their mouths while their hearts do not believe, and of those among the Jews who speak in disbelief, let it not grieve you, it says. These parts are right. I'm reading the wrong one here. What's wrong in it? But it's right; of course it has right parts. At one point they make it go astray. Yes. They constantly listen to lies, and they listen to certain people who have not come to you. They shift words from their places and change them. If you are given this, take it right away. If you are not given it, beware, they say. If Allah wants to throw someone into confusion, into fitnah, here this part went astray. The person, Allah, especially the person went astray here.

What does it say? 'If Allah wants to throw someone into confusion, into fitnah,' it says, while Allah Almighty throws no one into either fitnah or confusion.

Let's read it, then we'll correct those parts. Against Allah, you could not do anything in his favour, you cannot. They are those whose hearts Allah does not want to purify. Now look at the mistakes. Which mistake is this now? Allah supposedly does not want to purify anyone's heart. Whereas: you repent. You, it says, ask forgiveness for your sins. There is no sin that Allah will not forgive. Doesn't it contradict that verse?

This is how they keep making Allah's verses contradict each other. For them there is disgrace in this world, and in the Hereafter a great punishment reserved for them, it says. Those are right. Now we read the correct one. O Messenger! The state of those who say 'we believe' with their mouths while their hearts do not believe, and of those among the Jews who speak in disbelief, let it not grieve you. These parts were right anyway. They constantly listen to lies, and they listen to certain people who have not come to you. You know, when those who were hostile to the Prophet and did not go to him speak against the Prophet, they do what those ones say.

But to those who come to the Prophet and speak the truth, they pay no heed. They shift words from their places and change them. If you are given this, take it right away; if you are not given it, beware, they say. If a person wants from Allah to fall into confusion and fitnah, if he wants from Allah to fall into confusion and fitnah, because within his own will, you can do nothing for him against Allah. Why? He will live out his own destiny. Because that is how he made his covenant with Allah Almighty. And he has been programmed this way. They, they are those who did not want Allah to purify their hearts.

It does not say that Allah does not want to purify their hearts. Who did not want their hearts purified: that is, in that hatred, in that state, people who turn their backs on Allah Almighty. For them there is disgrace in this world, and in the Hereafter a great punishment reserved for them, it says. Yes.
