Al-Ma'idah 54: Oh you believers! Those from you who turn away from their religion (should know that), Allah will bring a people who are loved by Allah and who love Allah, who are humble towards the mu’min and proud towards the infidels, who fight/struggle on the path of Allah and do not fear the blame of the blamers. This is a blessing that Allah gives to those who desire. Verily, Allah is Wasi (generous in Allah’s grace) and Aleem (All-Knowing).

The misinterpretation

O you who believe! Whoever among you turns away from his religion (know that) Allah will bring a society that is honorable and tough against the disbelievers who are humble (compassionate) towards the believers who love and love him. (They) strive in the way of Allah and do not fear the condemnation of any blamer. This is the grace of Allah to whom He wills. God's grace and knowledge is vast.

The right translation

Oh you believers!

Explanation

This is where this verse goes wrong: This is Allah's favor to whom He wills. The truth is: This is a favor from Allah to whom He wills. As we have explained in the previous Verses, our Lord created human beings in the realm of Lahut, made a covenant with us at Kalu Bela and wrote our desires and wishes as our destiny. He sent us into the world. In this case, our Lord no longer has a wish over human beings. We have explained the opening of this wishing in the 105th verse of Surah Al-Baqarah. We are putting a duplicate of it here.

Allah (swt) created man as a particle of His Spirit. He gave man a mind to govern himself and to judge himself with his own will. In this case, He made a covenant with human beings. Our Lord says in the 172nd verse of Surah A'râf: (172- He made the descendants of the children of Adam to bear witness against themselves, so that on the Day of Resurrection you may not say, "We were ignorant of this," and said, "I am your Lord: I am your Lord. (They said) yes, we bear witness (to that).

So after man was created in the realm of Lahut, when he made a covenant with Allah (swt), whatever he wanted from our Lord, Allah (swt) gave him what he wanted and wrote his destiny. After that, if Allah (swt) removes His will from man and our Lord exercises His will on man, what does He want from man? If Allah, who has the power and might, puts whom He wills in Paradise and whom He wills in Hell, if He creates whoever He wills as a disbeliever and whoever He wills as a Muslim, if He bestows His mercy on whomever He wills and withholds His mercy from whomever He wills, are we not characterizing our Lord by making Allah (swt) unjust among His servants?

This realm is a shadow and a counterpart of the Hereafter. In the worldly realm, if people disobey the laws of the state, cheat people, kill people, etc., and commit crimes outside the laws of the state, and are caught for their crimes and sent to prison after being sentenced by a judge, did the judge send these people to prison or did they send themselves to prison for their crimes? Of course, they are punishing themselves for their crimes.

So, when people make a covenant with Allah (swt) in the address Elestu bi Rabbikum, their own desires and wishes become their destiny. Within this destiny, people are either punished or rewarded for the deeds they have done with their desires and wishes. They will be rewarded for their actions. In this case, Allah (swt) does not have any will over people with the decisions they make with their own will while living in the world. Those who ask Allah will go to Paradise and those who ask Allah will go to Hell.

This is entirely the result of the actual actions of human beings based on the decisions they make within their own will. Those who ask Allah for guidance will be guided. Those who turn their backs on Allah and do not embrace the religion of Islam, those who rebel against the commands of our Lord, those who disregard the laws of Allah, those who associate partners with Allah, or those who obey the verses of Allah's revelations that suit them and deny the others, will surely be punished with the punishment they deserve, and they will be included in Hell, the place of torment.

What is said in the video

Verse 54. O you who believe! Whoever of you turns back from his religion, let him know that Allah will bring a people whom He loves and who love Him, humble and compassionate towards the believers, honourable and tough towards the unbelievers, it says. They strive in the way of Allah and do not fear the blame of any blamer.

This is the grace of Allah, which He gives to whom He wills. Allah's grace and knowledge are vast. Here it says "whom He wills".

Allah's willing over people is in only one place. In only one place. Where is it? "I will create a human being": this is His intention. He intended it and created it. He created man. This is His willing. Anything else? Otherwise He left all people free in their own will, and wrote people's destinies by people's own wishes. In this case what does it say? O you who believe, whoever of you turns back from his religion, let him know that Allah will bring, whom He loves and who love Him, humble and compassionate towards the believers, honourable and tough towards the unbelievers, a people. Right. They strive in the way of Allah and do not fear the blame of any blamer.

Yes. This is the grace of Allah, which He gives to whom He wills. Well, now I too would like to attain such a grace. If Allah Almighty had granted me such a grace too, what would it matter, he would say. What would you say? Everyone says it. So what is this? This puts Allah Almighty in the position of discriminating between His servants. Whereas what does it say? This is the grace of Allah, which He gives to whom He wills. Allah's grace and knowledge are vast, it says. Now, it is right up to the end, but when it says "the grace He gives to whom He wills", look there how we explain it. O you who believe, whoever of you turns back from his religion, let him know that Allah will bring a people whom He loves and who love Him, humble and compassionate towards the believers, honourable and tough towards the unbelievers.

Right. How does He know? According to our covenant. What will happen in the world? What will the unbelievers do to Islam? And against that, Allah Almighty, a community of believers who will not fear the unbelievers, He is still waiting for that. Waiting. I will bring that against him, He says. That. But because He programmed the worlds according to the covenant those persons gave, for the sake of keeping the balance, everyone according to the time he himself wished, Allah Almighty programmed the worlds and set up their order and harmony, and will keep these worlds going within His program until the Day of Judgement.

So He will bring a people. They strive in the way of Allah and do not fear the blame of any blamer. This is the grace given to whoever asks it of Allah, it says. To whoever asks. There is such a people. Against that people. Here, let me go myself. Let me stand up against them, he says. These are the mujahids. These communities, people like these, within that people, Allah Almighty brings them out against them. Allah's grace and knowledge are vast, it says. Amen.
