Al-Ma'idah 95: Oh you believers! Do not kill prey while being on ihraam. If someone among you kills it intentionally, the penalty is an equivalent animal that was killed. Two individuals of justice from among you will judge over this as a sacrifice that will go to the Kaaba. Or as atonement, (the penalty consists of) the feeding of the needy or fasting the equivalent thereof. Thus, the one (who has hunted illegally) shall taste the penalty for what he has done. Allah has forgiven what has passed. Whoever repeats this offence, Allah will take recompense from him. Allah is Azeez (Exalted) and Zuntiqam (taking recompense).

Explanation
The misinterpretation
O you who believe! Do not kill the prey while in ihram. Whoever kills him deliberately among you, the equivalent of the animal he killed is his punishment. (This) will be judged by two just people among you, a sacrifice that will reach the Kaaba. (He appreciates the equivalent of the killed hunt) Or (the punishment for hunting) is a penance consisting of feeding the poor, or its equivalent is fasting. Until he (the one who hunts illegally) tastes the punishment for his work. God has forgiven the past. Whoever commits this crime again, Allah will take his reward from him. God is always victorious, avenger.
The right translation

Explanation
This is where this verse goes wrong: Avenger. The correct one is: He is the Recompenser of offenses. Our Lord does not take revenge on anyone. Allah (swt) is not incapable of taking revenge on people when He has the opportunity to do so. Our Lord's mercy and compassion covers the universe. In His verse: My mercy has exceeded My wrath. In this case, whoever disobeys the command of our Lord and takes it lightly will be repaid by our Lord. The meaning of the recompense here is that our Lord, being the Judge of Judges, will punish people for their transgressions against the laws of our Lord. People take revenge on their own selves.
People open the Verses of Allah (swt) by interpreting them according to their own minds. By mortgaging their minds to the minds of others, they give meaning to the Verses by judging with what they have heard from them. Had people based their judgment on the verses of our Lord instead of basing their judgment on people's minds, Islam would not have become like this and superstitions would not have invaded the religion.
What is said in the video
Verse 95. A wrongly translated verse. O you who believe! Do not kill game while in ihram. Right. You cannot even pluck a hair from it. A hair. Whoever among you kills it deliberately, the equivalent of the animal he killed is his penalty. What did I kill? A sheep. As a penalty, sir, I will sacrifice a sheep. I killed a gazelle. What is its equivalent? Let's say it is a camel. The gazelle is twenty-five thousand lira. It is a camel. I will slaughter a camel.
Its equivalent is his penalty. That is right. As a sacrifice to reach the Kaaba, two just persons among you judge it. That is, saying: its equivalent is this. They make that decision. They assess the equivalent of the game killed, yes, those two persons; or the hunting penalty is an expiation consisting of feeding the poor, an expiation consisting of it, he gives to them, to the poor, an expiation, it makes expiation; or its equivalent is fasting. That is, three days, five days, seven days, however much it is. Sir, "so that the forbidden hunt", look, here it has come to its senses, in its prohibition it says it now. It uses "so that".
So that the one who hunts what is forbidden tastes the penalty of his deed. Allah has forgiven what is past. Whoever commits this offence again, Allah Almighty takes recompense from him. Allah is ever Mighty, the Avenger, it says. The Avenger. Now what did he do here? He said it all very nicely. He brought in Allah. He equipped Him with human, carnal feelings. He will have Him take revenge on the one opposite. Astonishing. Does Allah ever take revenge? Allah, the judge, does a judge ever take revenge? Now, I killed a man. It caught me. The law brought me before the judge. And the judge punished me.
According to the way I killed the man, either life imprisonment, or twenty years, or five years, whatever, he punished me. Did the judge take revenge on me? Astonishing. For Allah to take revenge on anyone, revenge such a thing is not possible. Pardon?
What do we say here? Let us explain our right ones. O you who believe! Do not kill game while in ihram. Right. Whoever among you kills it deliberately, the equivalent of the animal he killed, its equivalent is his penalty. This too is right. Two just persons among you judge it, as a sacrifice to reach the Kaaba, the Kaaba. That is, by "just" here it says: consult a person who understands these matters, a person of knowledge.
He assesses the equivalent of the game killed. What does he do? Friend, the equivalent of this game is ten thousand lira, five thousand, seven thousand, fifteen thousand lira. He assesses it. Or the hunting penalty is an expiation consisting of feeding the poor. You give that money to those poor, to those poor, it says. You do not necessarily have to slaughter an animal. It is an expiation. Or, or else, it says. Or its equivalent is fasting. If you have no money, it says. Its equivalent is fasting. For example, is it a sheep, sir, while you were, er, in ihram, if its equivalent is 3 days, 3 days, you calculate accordingly.
Up to the equivalent of 10 thousand lira, 15 thousand lira, sir, 3, 6, 9, 12, 5 days. 3, 5, 15 days. You fast 15 days. So that the person who hunts what is forbidden tastes his penalty. It says it rightly. Allah has forgiven what is past. Whoever, whoever commits this offence again, Allah too takes recompense from him. Right. Allah is ever Mighty. He is the One who repays the guilty. Not "the Avenger". He is the One who repays the guilty.
"The Avenger." Look. Look, if you... Yes. Actually, look what it says here: Vallahu azîzün zü'ntikâm. This zü'ntikam actually means revenge, the one who takes retribution this part is like this: by Allah, it says, they took revenge on their own selves, it says, revenge. They took revenge, they took vengeance. They suffered the penalty in return for what they did, it says. The verses are very clear, but they twist them to suit themselves. And ascribe attributes to Allah Almighty. Yes.
