Translation

And the nations of Abraham and Lot (also denied their Prophets).

Tafsir

Allah (swt) continues to explain how those who disbelieve in Him and His Prophets end up in a terrible destruction. Although the people of Hazrat Ibrahim 'alaihis-salâm' threw Hazrat Ibrahim 'alaihis-salâm' into the Fire, Allah (swt) saved Hazrat Ibrahim from the Fire. He destroyed Nemrud's army with an army of mosquitoes. The fact that Nemrud was bitten by a mosquito that went from his nostril to his brain, biting his brain and making him kill himself by beating his head in this itch, showed the people how those who disbelieve in the Prophets of Allah end up dying with a terrible torment. Finally, it describes their eternal torment in the Hereafter.

Hadrat Lut's people also disbelieved in Hadrat Lut 'alaihis-salâm'. These people used to sleep with their same sex. They had no interest in their women. At the end of such a homosexual tribe's rampage and their opposition to Hadrat Lot (peace be upon him), who was the bearer of the truth, and their denial of him, and their continuing their filth, Allah (swt) saved Hadrat Lot (peace be upon him) and those who believed in him. Only his wife was not one of the believers, and when she looked back, she too suffered the fate of Hadrat Lot's people. When their towns were turned upside down, they bought destruction in this world as a punishment for their evil deeds and eternal torment in Hell in the Hereafter. Thus, Allah commands people to obey Him and not to be driven to torment and to obey Him, citing examples from the people of the past, so that they may find salvation.

What is said in the video

The 43rd verse of Surah Al-Hajj: "And the people of Abraham and the people of Lot also denied." Who are Abraham's people? Abraham's father, Azar. Well, he pressed Abraham hard to become an unbeliever, to worship idols. But Abraham (peace be upon him) from birth on believed in none but the one Allah. That is why he was a hanif, it says. That is, he never in any way turned his face to anyone other than Allah. Yes, we can say, we can say that all Muslims too are hanif. From birth on they, without falling into any shirk, without turning to any god other than Allah, that is, without turning to the idols they call gods, go straight on. On the fitra of Islam.

So, even though they may have fallen short in worship, still, since these do not worship other idols, since to a god other than Allah they do not turn, they are hanif. Yes. "And the people of Abraham and the people of Lot also denied." That is, Lot's people were homosexual people. It was a wanton people who left women and had relations with men. They too denied Lot. So that the Prophet (peace be upon him) would not grieve, Allah Almighty there shows some things as examples and calms him. Yes. Allah Almighty continues to tell by what an evil destruction those who deny Him and His prophets came to their end.

Although the people of Abraham (peace be upon him) threw Abraham (peace be upon him) into the fire, Allah Almighty saved Abraham from the fire. He destroyed Nimrod's army with an army of mosquitoes. As for Nimrod, a fly that went from his nostril up to his brain biting his brain, and in that itching his having his head pounded and pounded until he was killed — it put on display how those who deny Allah's prophets meet their end in death with a terrible punishment, for people to see. And in the end, their being subject to eternal punishment in the hereafter — that is what it tells. The people of Lot also denied Lot (peace be upon him).

These people slept with their own sex. They felt no interest in their women. With the wantonness of such a homosexual people, their opposing Lot (peace be upon him), who conveyed the truth, and continuing their filth by denying him — in the end Allah Almighty saved Lot (peace be upon him) and those who believed in him.

Only his wife, since she was not among the believers, by looking back, she too suffered the fate of Lot's people. With their town being turned upside down, as the penalty for the evil they did, they bought their destruction in the world with a painful punishment, and in the hereafter eternal punishment in Hell.

So, to Allah — and Allah, so that people may find salvation, giving examples from past peoples, people's being (?) into punishment and their obeying Him — He commands. Lot's people, Allah Almighty says, We destroyed with baked stones, with mud.

What is this baked mud? What is destruction? We destroyed them with baked mud, He says.

With the Ababil birds, too, the army of (?) that surrounded this Mecca He also destroyed. Some of them with stones called sijjil. Some say it's hellfire. And Allah Almighty says of the jinn, min mâricin min nâr. We created the jinn from a pure fire, He says. Now these are all frequencies.

Those stones called sijjil in the mouths of the Ababil birds, and when He says We created the jinn from a pure fire, His creating them too within frequencies, and when He says baked, baked mud, His creating that within frequencies too. What if He created them with frequencies? I have this phone of mine. When I call your phone, that frequency finds it. Likewise, people's bodies too are an engine, and there is a signal, an electromagnetic field, that this engine gives off. The signal of this electromagnetic field is a frequency. When you release this frequency with that baked mud's frequency, just as two phones find each other, it comes and finds you and hits you, kills you.

So we said: if we could find this human frequency, the one the body gives off — that frequency — as the strongest weapon in the world no other weapon would be needed. You'd hit whomever you want wherever you want and kill them. This belongs to Allah alone. So with these frequencies Allah speaks to the heart of every person, or of whomever He wills, by way of inspiration. So the verse where He says most people don't know inspiration has many meanings, of course. Likewise His revealing to the heart of His prophets.

For example, when I talk on this phone with this phone, we're only talking between two people. Well, can't what's said be listened in on? It can. Then hasn't someone else entered your frequency? Now look, in the verse Allah Almighty says this: When We reveal to the heart of a prophet, by all means, He says, let the accursed one not try to tempt him. So he too tempts. Now he has entered that, that frequency. Because that accursed one circulates in people's bloodstream.

In this case, He says, We reveal the revelation to the prophet's heart forcefully. Satan's temptation hits it and is cancelled, He says. But those who cannot grasp this subtlety of this verse, those who claim to be scholars, those who write the Quran, you know — that too: Allah supposedly cancels Satan's temptation and it was supposedly placed in the prophet's heart. Of course, one without knowledge will say it like this, by his own head. Yes.

These are all sciences. These are spiritual sciences.

Lot's people too denied Lot (peace be upon him). We are reading again what we read. These people slept with their own sex; they felt no interest in their women. With the wantonness of such a homosexual people, their opposing Lot (peace be upon him), who conveyed the truth, and continuing their filth by denying him — in the end Allah Almighty saved Lot (peace be upon him) and those who believed in him. He brought them out of that town. Only, He says, his wife was among those who stayed behind. Even though she got out, his wife, who was by that prophet's side — her too, that baked stone, that clay comes and finds, hits her, and kills her there.

Yes, Allah Almighty saved Lot (peace be upon him) and those who believed in him. Only his wife, since she was not among the believers, by looking back, she too suffered the fate of Lot's people. With their town being turned upside down, as the penalty for the evil they did, they bought, in the world, destruction with a painful punishment, and in the hereafter eternal punishment in Hell for themselves. So Allah, so that people may find salvation, giving examples from past peoples, that people not be dragged into punishment and that they obey Him He commands.
