Then, We’ve emerged another generation after them.
Tafsir
After the flood of Hazrat Noah, Allah (swt) destroyed all the living creatures on earth except the ark of Hazrat Noah. The generations on earth were derived for the second time after our ancestor Adam, after Hazrat Noah (peace be upon him).
Allah (swt) has created other generations in place of those whom He destroyed. Since Allah (swt) created these worlds with a program, He either destroys the people who do not want to remember Him in this world, or He encompasses them little by little from unknown places. For Allah will complete His light until the Day of Resurrection. In this respect, there is no obstacle that can prevent the light of Allah. In one of the verses (Do they think that they can extinguish the light of Allah with their mouths), Allah says that He will eliminate those who turn the earth into a place of oppression and torture, and according to the verse (spread truth and justice in the earth), He will bring new generations in their place, generations who say Allah and know Allah.
What is said in the video
In verse 31 of Surah Al-Mu'minun: then after them We brought into being another generation, He says. Now,
Allah Almighty started the propagation of mankind, after Adam, with Noah (peace be upon him). Because when Adam came into the world, our father Adam and our mother Eve were there. There was no one else. They descended from them. With Noah (peace be upon him), too: Noah and his wife and a few people who believed in him, a few. From them they descended again. Among them, to them: worship Allah. I mean, what does it say?
Then after them We brought into being another generation, He says. Let's read that part. Verse 31. After the flood of Noah, Allah Almighty destroyed all living beings in the world except those on the ship of Noah (peace be upon him). The generations on earth, after our forefather Adam, for a second time propagated after Noah (peace be upon him).
In place of these people He destroyed, Allah Almighty, to bring forth other generations — peoples who do not want, He either destroys or, from places they do not know, He besieges them little by little. I think we skipped a line here. Let's take it again. In place of these people He destroyed, Allah Almighty brought other generations into being. Since Allah Almighty created these worlds with a program, in the world peoples who do not want to remember Him, He either destroys or besieges them little by little from unknown places.
For Allah will complete His light until the Day of Judgment. If Allah, since He would no longer send a prophet, had left these worlds to themselves, people would lose their humanity; there is no oppression in the world they would leave undone. Up to the Prophet (peace be upon him), roughly every 100 years He sent a prophet. Every 50–60 years He sent a prophet. Sometimes He sent two prophets together. Like John and Jesus. Like Zechariah, the father of John. Like Moses and Aaron. Yes.
Only between Jesus and the Prophet is there a gap of 400 years. After that, the Prophet (peace be upon him) comes into the world. Since, after he spread Islam, no prophet will come again until the Day of Judgment, Allah Almighty sends scholars. Scholars. These scholars Allah Almighty raises Himself. And these, every 100 years as a kutbu'l-azam, every 200 years as a kutbu'l-aktab, are sent to the earth with the duty of removing falsehoods from religion. Regarding the verses according to the time, and to remove superstitions from religion, they struggle. So the program continues until the Day of Judgment.
In Islam its program continues until the Day of Judgment. Yes.
For Allah will complete His light until the Day of Judgment. Therefore there is no obstacle that can block Allah's light.
If Allah Almighty had not sent these people, people would act according to their own reason. However much one's reason may know what is right, surely a light, a leader before it is necessary. Therefore, because Allah has compassion on people, He sent them prophets, books and scholars. If there were no such scholars, books and prophets, people would go astray and finally say: so-and-so goes like this, he does that, let me do the same. They would forget the truth, and the earth would suffer oppression. Look at those committing oppression today. Who are they? Non-Muslims. Non-Muslims, their own books, as long as they believed in them —
Non-Muslims, as long as they believed in their own books, found the truth. They lived what is right. After Islam too, through the influence of their own books, a good way on a straight path they went. A somewhat crooked path, of course, but still they were at least somewhat upright, I mean. After 1400 years passed, the popes at their head have come to a state where they can no longer make them listen. Anyway, the path the pope follows is also wrong. Because Allah Almighty — religion is Islam. Islam (?) Allah's religion. Religion is Islam. Their Torah, Psalms and Gospel are in the Quran. Their popes, priests, rabbis, if they know Allah, if they say Allah, must abide by Allah's command.
Abiding by Allah's command does not happen with the feelings of the nafs. Since the Torah, Psalms and Gospel are in the Quran, while they ought to be bound by the Quran, running after worldly interests, for fame and glory turning their backs on Allah and (?) saying Allah — the eternal place where such people will go is hell. Yes. Their religions have been abolished. There is no religion. Religion — there is a single religion. The religion of Islam. İnne'd-dîne inda'llâhi'l-islâm.
Their religions were valid from one prophet until the next prophet. For instance, the Torah until David, that is, valid until the Psalms that David brought. For that people. The parts from the Psalms to the Gospel, now, those bound by the Psalms are, by this, upon the fitra of Islam. Those bound by the Gospel — until the Quran that Muhammad (peace be upon him) brought, that is, until the Quran sent by Allah Almighty, those bound by it are upon the fitra of Islam.
Why did We not send the Quran from the beginning? Because the Quran will shed light on the whole future, and since people, given their civilizational states, cultures or ways of life, the work they would do, in proportion to their reason, could not understand it — in a way they would understand; since He would not put a load they cannot bear on a person's back, He sent verses in a way they would understand. He did not overburden them. For instance, the Torah: ten commandments. Then the Psalms a little more, then the Gospel more still, then the Quran, Allah's word, all gathered in the Quran until the Day of Judgment.
He gathered the ruling of their validity in the Quran. Most of the people living outside this, when we say non-Muslims, are unbelievers by Allah's word. Allah calls them unbelievers. Yes. The meaning of unbeliever: people who are outside the religion of Islam, who do not believe in Muhammad (peace be upon him), who deliberately deny a verse of the Quran, who associate partners with Allah, who say Allah is three — these people, since they are outside Islam, are unbelievers. Their eternal abode in the hereafter is hell.
Yes.
