The misinterpretation
He has all kinds of savings over his servants. He is wise and wise. He is aware of everything.
The right translation
Allah is knowledgeable about all actions of Allah’s servants. Allah is Hakeem (All-Wise) and Khabeer (All-Aware).
Explanation
This is where this verse goes wrong: He has all sovereignty over His servants. The truth is: He has control over His servants in all their affairs. If we pay attention to the continuation of the verse, our Lord says: He is the Owner of judgment and wisdom. He is aware of everything. Our Lord, who is aware of everything, is aware of every situation of His servants among His servants.
In this case, the verse that opens wrongly: "He has all kinds of power among His servants" contradicts many verses. First of all, it contradicts Verse 172 of Surah A'râf. Because Our Lord made a covenant with the people at Kalu Bela and wrote their desires and wishes as their destiny. If our Lord has all kinds of power over His servants, then if when our Lord made a covenant with the people at Kalu Bela, He wrote their desires and wishes as their destiny, what did He make a covenant with us for? If He has all kinds of power over His servants, He could have done whatever He wanted with us and thrown whoever He wanted into Paradise and whoever He wanted into Hell. It is with this understanding that they have translated the Holy Qur'an and characterized our Lord. Allah (swt) has no control over human beings, He is only aware of their every state in relation to what they do.
What is said in the video
We are reading the wrong one: He has every kind of control over His servants.
How nice. Now, come on, a verse can't be translated this absurdly. They've turned the religion into superstition, superstition. Look, a single sentence, look what it says. Now look, I'm going to unpack this single sentence.
He has every kind of control over His servants.
If He has every kind of control over me, He makes me kill someone, He makes me pray, Allah Almighty will have done everything. He will have made me do it. Then why would He call me to account at the Great Court here? Is He taking my will away from me? When my will is lifted from me, then Allah Almighty Himself is steering me. So I become Allah's satellite. Allah makes me do whatever He wants. Then He says: come here, why did you do this? Come on, sir, does it befit sound reason to translate it this way? On the one hand Allah will steer His servant, sir, as He wishes. Control. In command of control.
He will steer him. Then He'll say: why did you do this? He's squeezed Allah into his own head. He's attributing his own foolishness to Allah here.
Good grief. Of course, look what its meaning is. He is aware of every state of His servants. All right. He's aware of our every state. What we did, what we committed. None of us will be able to say we couldn't do that. If this image of mine is reflected onto a card in a camera, and on that card my image appears, and this image of mine is reflected digitally across the whole world and watched in videos, and stays fixed in these videos, on tapes, can't Allah take my image, from my childhood, from coming of age until I die, and play it back before me like a video? He is the Possessor of knowledge. Yes.
He's aware of my every state. We'll have no way of escape left. He'll lay it all out before us like this. Now, this here is one thing, look at what they wrote, that's another. What does it say? He has every kind of control over His servants. Oh, how nice. But: He is aware of every state of His servants. Different. He is the whole and, He is Allah, the Possessor of judgement and wisdom. Judgement. Is not Allah the most just of judges? The Judge of judges. He, the Possessor of judgement, to everything, is aware of everything. Look, what does its counterpart say? He is aware of every state of His servants.
He is the Possessor of judgement and wisdom. He is aware of everything. Look how beautifully the verse flows. What does it say here? He has every kind of control over His servants. He is the Possessor of judgement and wisdom. He is aware of everything. Yes. Over those people Allah Almighty has no rule. I repeat. Over us Allah Almighty has no rule. Why not? If He held rule over us, He would not have given us will. With our own wills we asked Allah Almighty for our wishes and desires. And He wrote our scenario according to our wishes and desires there. He inscribed our intent onto us as destiny, and there is no one to change it again. Because the worlds were programmed according to our destinies, and we too were programmed. Until the Day of Judgement, people's futures, what they will do, what they will commit, are known second by second before Allah. In this case the worlds are programmed, and they will go on according to that program. Allah Almighty brings these verses for what I'm saying.
What does it say? They plot, and We plot, but We are the best of plotters, it says. What does this mean? We programmed these worlds. People make a plot, and within that plot they step outside My program of these worlds, or else step outside their own destinies. In this case, with the plans We have prepared, We put them back into their own destinies. Why? Did you think you would die without proving what kind of person you are? According to the verse. If Allah Almighty, setting a trap, had allowed the person to step outside his own destiny, the person would say: I didn't ask You for such a thing.
In the worldly life I got carried away by such a feeling. I did this. You should have put me back into my state, he'd say. Right? Right. Yes. Now what is this like? What is this like? A ship is sailing on the ocean. The ship's compass went haywire. Its course changed. What did he do? The man has a phone in his hand. With the phone, sir, from the satellite he pulled up the route map to where he's going. He put himself back on course. Yes. That is how Allah Almighty puts those whose compass has gone astray back on course.
