Al-An'am 61: Allah is Supreme over Allah’s servants and sends guardian angels to you who write your deeds and guard you. Until the time (of death) comes. Then We send Our angels (angel of Death and the helper angels) to take your soul and they are flawless in their duty.

The misinterpretation

He has the sole power and authority over his servants. He sends you guardians. Finally, when death comes to one of you, our envoys (the angels in charge) take his life and they do not fail in their duty.

The right translation

Allah is Supreme over Allah’s servants and sends guardian angels to you who write your deeds and guard you. Until the time (of death) comes. Then We send Our angels (angel of Death and the helper angels) to take your soul and they are flawless in their duty.

Explanation

This is where this verse goes wrong: He has sole power and control over His servants. He sends you protectors. The truth is: He is the Victor over the servants, and He sends over you angels to record your deeds.

They say that He has power over His servants, which is wrong in the verse. If our Lord had control over people, He would not have made a covenant with us at Kalu Bela. Every human being made a covenant with our Lord at Kalu Bela with his own free will. He dictated their desires and wishes to them as their destiny. When people come to this world, they act out the scripts of their destiny as an artist to prove what kind of a person they are. In this case, Allah (swt) has no control over the people He sends into the world. Allah has mercy, His mercy is abundant. He does not discriminate between people. In that case, if Allah (swt) had control over people, our Lord would not have made a covenant with them at Kalu Bela and would have abolished Hell.

Since our Lord has given human beings a part of His Essence in the form of His spirit, He has left human beings free in their own will. In this case, when He made a covenant with human beings, whatever they willed from Our Lord of their own will, Our Lord gave them exactly what they willed. In the worldly realm, these people prove what kind of people they are by their deeds in the worldly realm when our Lord gives them what they asked for in Kalu Bela. In this case, the truth of the verse is: He is sovereign over the servants, and He sends over you angels to record your deeds. In this verse, the word "victor" should be used instead of the word "disposition". The equivalent of the word "saving" is: He is the one who directs all the actions of the people and makes them do what He wants them to do. When the word "victor over His servants" is used, it means that even if man and jinn gather together, they cannot harm Allah. There is a big difference between these two words.

What is said in the video

Let me move this down a little. Yes. Verse 61 of Surah Al-An'am is also a verse that has been rendered wrongly. He holds over His servants sole power and control.

He sends guardians over you. Finally, when death comes to one of you, Our messengers, the angels in charge, take his soul. They do not fall short in their duty. This belongs to the wrong rendering.

Yes.

And where is the mistake in it?

He, over His servants, over His servants, with sole power holds control. The beginning is wrong, Hodja, the very beginning is wrong, Hodja. Over His servants... it is written, it takes the will away from them, His servants, I don't get it, and let the people hear it too, the beginning is wrong, Hodja, the beginning, yes, with that sentence the will of the servants is taken away, yes. He is right. He is right. 'He has sole power and disposal over His servants', the word he uses that word is wrong. Control... over the servants He created Allah Almighty has no control at all. Over me. If He had control over me, He would remove my will; and here it does remove it, He uses His own will over me.

Now I'll put it this way: I have control over Volkan. What does that mean? I steer it in whatever direction I want, is that it? I make it do it wherever I want. If Allah is capable of this, where did our will go? With our will for our will go? Then I'd say: You took away my will, You could have led me wherever You wanted by Your power, You have that knowledge, what do You want from me, why did You create me like this, I could say. I could say: why did You set me apart from people like this and drive me to evil?

But it is not like that. Look, over the servants, over the servants He is the prevailing one. What does it say here? It says: He holds control over the servants with sole power. Now here it says: He is the prevailing one over the servants, over the servants. And: We send over you the guardian angels who record your deeds, it says. So where is the control now? There is no control. He sends them over us. What? The guardian angels.

Then in the end, when death comes to one of you, the angels We sent take his soul, and they do not fall short in their duties. Correct.

And look how beautifully it says at the end of this. After death, this is verse 62. People are returned to Allah, their true Master, and handed over to Him. Every soul will taste death. It supports the verse that says 'your return is to Me'. Pay attention, it says here now. Pay attention. Judgment on that day is His alone. Look at this. Judgment is not Allah's alone, look. Pay attention. Judgment is not Allah's alone. If I have a will, I make judgments too. Within those judgments I earn reward and sin. Judgment on that day is Allah's alone. Which day is this? At the Great Court, where there is no god but Allah, and He has neither a helper beside Him nor anyone He needs; Eleysallahu bi ahkemil hakimin, Allah, the Judge of judges; to the word that will come from between His two lips people will be compelled to submit.

This is that day, it says, judgement belongs to Allah alone. Yes. So since you will have no intercessor there, and since Allah Almighty is Eleysallahu bi ahkemil hakimin, since He will judge with justice, what will you rely on in this world to cheat? You'll eat what is forbidden, exploit us, a petty looter in this garbage world, you'll set your eyes on the garbage world and drag your hereafter into bankruptcy. See how beautifully Allah Almighty puts it: do you never use your reason reason, do you never reflect, He says, do you never think do you not? About what? Where you came from and where you'll go.

Yes.
