Explanation
The misinterpretation
Again, as in the first case when they did not believe in Him, We turn their hearts and eyes away. And We leave them bewildered in their rage.
The right translation
Just as they have not believed in Allah in the first instance, they invert their hearts and their eyes. And they remain in their transgression bewilderedly.
Explanation
This Verse has been wrongly opened from the beginning. Again, it is as if Allah (swt) created people's disbelief in such a way that He made them disbelievers and made them disbelieve, turning their hearts and eyes backwards and leaving them confused and in a state of rebellion. What kind of Allah is this? Does this fit into the justice of our Lord, who expects such merciful and forgiving people to return to Him? Every human being is free in his will. Accordingly, he is responsible for what he does with the deeds he commits with his own desire and will. As for the Verse that opens correctly, how beautifully the Verse is opened in accordance with the spirit of the Verse: (Again, as in the first case when they did not believe in Him, they turn their hearts and their eyes upside down. And they will remain in their rebellion, bewildered).
What is said in the video
In verse 110 there is a wrong rendering here; let's see where the mistake is.
Again, again, just as they did not believe in Him in the first state; in whom? In Allah Almighty; as they did not believe, as in the first state, We turn their hearts and eyes upside down, it says. And We leave them bewildered in their transgression, it says. Now here Allah Almighty has put all those who deny Allah, every one of them, inside it. Whereas among them there are those who turn back. What does it say here? Again, as in the first state when they did not believe in Him. We turn their hearts and eyes upside down, it says. Whereas Allah Almighty does not turn anyone's heart and eyes upside down.
They have themselves turned upside down. Like what? What does it say? In Surah Al-Baqarah, there, what does Allah Almighty say? They've rendered that wrongly. We blinded their eyes, sir, We stopped their ears, sealed their hearts, it says. Then what more does Allah Almighty want from that person? Whereas at the covenant, because he denied Allah, although his own eye personally saw Allah, he says: You are not Allah. So a veil came over his eyes. Although He said 'I am your Lord', because he denied Allah, he plugged his ear too, plugged it. And in this case, because he didn't believe in Allah, he had his heart sealed.
Who did this? The person did it by his own wish and desire. Well, this one is the same.
If he knew the origin, would he fall into these errors anyway? What does it say? Again, as when they did not believe in Him, their hearts and eyes We turn upside down. They have them turned upside down. And We leave them bewildered in their transgression, it says. Now I'm reading that part. Again, as in the first state when they did not believe in Him, they turn their hearts and eyes upside down. Why? Well, Allah is in front of you. If you don't believe, if your heart, sir, isn't at peace with Him, will your eye see Him? Blind, sightless, they will be gathered, it says. Well, although they're all able to see, how blind and sightless will they be gathered?
Although in the world he is shown the proof of Allah, the proof of Allah Almighty, the one who can't comprehend Allah Almighty as Allah, since in the hereafter, too, he won't be able to comprehend although he sees, if he sees Allah and can't say 'that is Allah', he is blind, you see. Could he see Allah? Could he recognize Him? No. See as much as you like. You're blind. He doesn't believe in his heart. Well, you've distanced yourself from Allah too. You're blind, and deaf to the words, and without faith. You've had your heart sealed. You won't come to the truth anymore. In the hereafter it's like this.
They will be gathered blind, sir, blind. Whereas what does it say in Surah As-Sajdah? Look, here too, about not being blind, about not living blind. Look, what does it say here? Well, here too, in the verse Let's look here. We'll do something nicer for him.
Look at verse 12 of Surah As-Sajdah, what it says. When the sinners will hang their heads before their Lord: Our Lord, we have seen, we have heard. Look, we have seen, it says. Not blind. We have seen, it says. We have heard. Now send us back to the world so we can do good deeds. Now we firmly believe. If only you could see the time they will say this, it says. Again they're lying. If only they knew me here, he says. Still blind. He doesn't know that the one before him is Allah. He thinks he'll deceive Him. Yes. See Allah as much as you like. If you don't believe, you're blind. Now let's talk about Erdoğan.
I'm looking for Erdoğan.
But I don't know Erdoğan. I come to Erdoğan and say: I'm looking for Erdoğan. And Erdoğan says: you've come to the right place. 'I'm Erdoğan.' 'How can you be Erdoğan? You can't be Erdoğan.' 'Well then, goodbye.' Now, have I seen Erdoğan? I saw him, but have I really seen him? If I had seen him, I would have known.
Just like this. Yes.
Again, as in the first state when they did not believe in Him, they turn their hearts and eyes upside down, and they remain bewildered in their transgression. Themselves. It's not 'and We leave them bewildered in their transgression'. They remain. 'We leave' is one thing, 'they remain' is another. When it says 'We leave', all of them, every one, go that way. When it says 'they remain', perhaps some will emerge from among them. He remains in those bewilderments, but among the unbelievers there are those who continue as unbelievers; yes, he continues as an unbeliever. But then you see the man becomes a Muslim in the end.
That's why 'they remain' is one thing, 'We leave' another. One is definite, the other is open. Yes.
