Al-An'am 154: For those who commit good deeds, to fulfill Our blessings, to explain everything, to lead them to guidance, and to have mercy/blessings on them, We have given Moses the Book (Torah); (We have done this) so that they (the ones who will turn towards the truth) will believe in returning to their Lord.

The misinterpretation
Then We gave Moses the Book (Torah) in order to complete Our favor to those who do good, to explain everything, to guide and show mercy. It is hoped that they will believe that they will come to the presence of their Lord.
The right translation
For those who commit good deeds, to fulfill Our blessings, to explain everything, to lead them to guidance, and to have mercy/blessings on them, We have given Moses the Book (Torah); (We have done this) so that they (the ones who will turn towards the truth) will believe in returning to their Lord.
Explanation
The wrong place in this verse is this. "It is hoped that they will believe that they will meet their Lord. And the truth is: "So that they (the righteous) may believe that they will meet their Lord." We have already explained the hopefully meaning of this Verse in Verse 151 of this Surah. As a repetition, we are putting here the footnote of the word hopefully which we opened in Verse 151. Our Lord made a covenant with the people at Kalu Bela. He has written the desires and wishes of human beings as their destiny. In this case, He has programmed all the worlds until the Day of Resurrection. It is hoped that the meaning of the word "hopefully" is: I will look at your situation and if you are well, I will bring you to salvation or relief. However, our Lord made a covenant with human beings after the Elestu bi Rabbikum address and wrote their desires and wishes as destiny for them and programmed these worlds until the Day of Resurrection. In this case, the word "hopefully" should be replaced with "until", which is a demonstrative pronoun, referring to those among a people who will convert to Islam, and within the opportunity of a time unit given to them. That is why our Lord does not use the word hopefully. It is hoped that his word will adjective our Lord.
What is said in the video
We stopped at the verse. Yes. We've opened it here. Verse 154. What does it say? In verse 154. If we zoom in a bit like this, maybe it'll be better, we can read it better. Yes.
"Then, to complete Our favour on those who do good, do good," I'm reading the wrong one first. What does it say? "Then, to complete Our favour on those who do good, to explain everything, to guide, and to show mercy, We gave Moses the Book, the Torah. It is hoped that they will believe in meeting their Lord," it says. Here the phrase "it is hoped that" ascribes an attribute to Allah Almighty. Why does the phrase "it is hoped that" ascribe an attribute? Because Allah Almighty says: there is not a single living being until the Day of Judgment whose deeds We don't know. It contradicts this verse. Yet the words of Allah Almighty never contradict each other.
In that case, the correct version of the verse is: Then, to complete Our favour on those who do good, to explain everything, to [gain] guidance, and to show mercy, We gave Moses the Book, the Torah. "So that"; instead of "it is hoped that", "so that". That is, this is a demonstrative pronoun. What does demonstrative pronoun mean? When they made the covenant with Allah Almighty, at the call "Elestü bi-Rabbiküm", when they made the covenant with Allah Almighty, when Allah Almighty gave them their desires and wishes, their aims, as destiny, that is, when He wrote it, He knows the secrets in the very cell, the very corner of their hearts, our secrets that we need but don't know.
So according to the verse where He says "We know the secrets of your hearts", when He says "it is hoped that", it means maybe I'll forgive you. It is hoped that you'll be forgiven. Here there's uncertainty. Whereas "so that" points, within a people, to those who still continuing in evil, and later regretting and from Allah Almighty pardon and and forgiveness, will live Islam. Demonstrative pronoun. "So that" they, so that those who will return to the truth believe in meeting their Lord. Yes.
That's how it is.
