The misinterpretation

He guided one group to the straight path, and another group deserved astray. Because they have taken the devils as their friends instead of Allah. And yet they think that they are on the right path.

The right translation

One group has found the right path and one group has continued with going astray. This is because they have left Allah and befriended the Shaytan. And they think that they are on the right path.

Explanation

The wrong opening in this verse is this: "He guided a group." The correct one is: "That one group has found the right path."

They have attributed shortcomings to Our Lord in return for all the Wrongly opened Verses. Our Lord does not guide any of the people He sends to the world to the right path, nor does He lead them astray. Our Lord made a covenant with human beings at Kalu Bela, in the address Elestu bi Rabbikum. He wrote the desires and wishes of each human being as his destiny. In this case, if our Lord was going to use His will among human beings, guiding some of them to the right path and leaving others in error, if He was going to use His will on human beings by discriminating between them, why did He make a covenant with us at Kalu Bela by putting our will in our own hands? He would program us like the angels He created and make us do what He wanted.

Since such servants already existed, when He started to create in the first place, He was going to create such a being that He would create this creation as a partial of His Essence, and by giving its own will into its own hands, the created people would use their own will and intellect to recognize that our Lord created us by using their own will. That is why He created human beings. People who are unaware of these conditions and who do not have this knowledge have attributed shortcomings to our Lord by opening the verses arbitrarily. In this case, no one can accuse Allah (swt) of discrimination among His servants.

What is said in the video

Verse 30, we have come to it. The wrongly translated Surah Al-A'raf, verse 30: He guided one group to the right path. Look now. Allah does not guide any group to the right path. Allah sent the Quran as a mercy to the worlds. He made a covenant with everyone. Everyone will see the way ahead. They will find the truth. He sent prophets, books, scholars. In keeping with the covenant each gave to Allah, each will, if they wish, find the right path, or if they wish, commit betrayal. He guided one group to the right path. And another group deserved misguidance. For they abandoned Allah and took the devils as friends.

And yet they think they are on the right path. Now look, it is the word of Allah Almighty, which does not contradict itself. Now pay attention to this point. They abandoned Allah and took the devils as friends. Pay attention here. I'm reading it again. They abandoned Allah and took the devils as friends. So what does this say here? What does it say? For he and his followers see you from where you cannot see them. Indeed, We have made the devils the friends of those who do not believe. Here it says 'We made them the friends of those who do not believe', and here it says, this time, 'and yet they themselves abandoned Allah and took the devils as friends'. But here, supposedly, Allah had made the devils their friends.

And now it says people abandoned Allah and took the devils as friends. There too. You see, they translated it with nonsensical words. May Allah reform them.

We read the correct one. That one group found the right path. Look, not 'one group He guided to the right path'. Not 'He guided one group to the right path'. That one group found the right path. Where? At the address of Elestü bi-Rabbiküm, when Allah Almighty said 'I am your Lord', those who said yes, and ashâbü'l-meymeneti mâ ashâbü'l-meymeneh, those on the right. Yes. When they too came into the world, as a result of the covenant, since no one can break their covenant, that one group found the right path. And one group continued in misguidance. And who are these? At the address of Elestü bi-Rabbiküm, and ashâbü'l-meş'emeti mâ ashâbü'l-meş'emeh: O you on the left!

Woe to you, those to whom He said this. When they too came into the world, since they too cannot change their covenant, that group continued in misguidance. For they abandoned Allah and took the devils as friends. And yet they think they are on the right path, it says. Yes.
