Al-A'raf 100: Did the Truth not become apparent to those who became the inheritors of the world after its past owners? If We had desired, We surely would have given them calamities for their sins. In order to not hear, they have made Us seal their hearts and they do not desire to hear.

The misinterpretation

Hasn't it become clear to those who inherited the earth after their previous owners that; If We had willed, We would have afflicted them for their sins. We seal their hearts so they do not hear (the truth).

The right translation

Did the Truth not become apparent to those who became the inheritors of the world after its past owners? If We had desired, We surely would have given them calamities for their sins. In order to not hear, they have made Us seal their hearts and they do not desire to hear.

Explanation

The wrong place in this verse is this: "We seal their hearts so that they do not hear." The truth is: "They make Us seal their hearts so that they may not hear, but they do not want to hear."

They have constantly reversed the verses and attributed shortcomings to our Lord. As we have always said, Allah (swt) created His servants to know His Zat. He does not seal the heart of any of His servants, nor does He exclude them from His Zat. By their own will, people either have their hearts sealed by our Lord, or they turn their backs on their Creator and do not want to know our Lord. Or they disobey the commands of our Lord, disobeying His verses.

Did our Lord then seal their hearts or make them hell-bound? If every person is free in his or her will, then every person will be rewarded for what he or she has done. To attribute this to our Lord for the crimes that people have committed of their own will and desire is to take away the justice of our Lord. It is people exonerating the servants created by our Lord. In order to accuse Allah (swt), they say that the Creator created us like this and the person has done his duty. Those who open the verses in this way by perverting them are in shame.

What is said in the video

In the Surah, on page 162, verse 100 is where we have come to. Verse 100 reads like this. Has this truth still not become clear to those who inherited the earth after its former owners, it says. Here let's both find what's lacking and open up the meanings a little. What does it say, after its former owners? Who are the former owners? Allah Almighty some on earth who went astray, or rebelled against Allah, who overstepped Allah's limits such peoples He destroyed. These are the former owners. After that destruction, it says. Has it still not become clear to those who inherited the earth after its former owners that if We had willed, We would have struck them too with calamities because of their sins?

Just as He destroyed the earlier peoples, Allah Almighty in this time too will of course strike people with calamities because of the sins they committed. We would have struck, it says. We seal their hearts, so they do not hear the truths, it says. Now, this takes in all of these sinners, because the whole of them it includes. What does it say? We, those sinners, We seal their hearts, so they do not hear the truths. Well, in this case there are many who commit sins. If He had sealed their hearts, they would not return to the truth again. The end of this verse has been translated wrongly. Of course, they translated it as they pleased.

What do we say there?

Now we read the correct one. Has this truth still not become clear to those who inherited the earth after its former owners? If We had willed, We would have struck them too with calamities because of their sins. Up to here it's correct anyway. So as not to hear the truths, they have Us seal their hearts, and they do not want to hear. That is, so as not to hear the truths, they have their hearts, by Us, by Us they have their hearts sealed, and they do not want to hear. That is, at the address of Elestü bi-Rabbiküm, although people saw the Being of Allah Almighty, because they expected the Lord of their own imagination, they denied Allah Almighty, and they do not listen to Allah's laws; they wait for the Lord of their imagination.

And since no such Lord appears, since no such creator appears, they live by their own minds, like some sort of engineering. Yes. And Allah Almighty has given them life until a certain time. At the end of that life, when people pass on to the hereafter, when on the Day of Judgment they are called to account, when they see before them the Lord who created them, they still won't believe, will they? Then, instead of the eternal home of bliss, they will have bought the path of eternal punishment.
