Explanation
The misinterpretation
Moses said to his people; Ask Allah for help and be patient. Undoubtedly, the earth belongs to Allah. He makes any of His servants he wishes heir. The result is for those who (fearing Allah and sin).
The right translation
Moses said to his people; “Ask for help from Allah and show patience. Verily, the earth belongs to Allah. Allah makes those, who desire, its inheritors. The end is with those who abstain (from Allah and committing sins).”
Explanation
The wrong place in this verse is this: "He makes whomsoever of His servants He wills heir to it." The correct one is: "He will make his servants heirs to him who will."
Does our Lord discriminate between people, making whom He wills heir to the world and whom He wills He deprives of the world? Does this fit into the justice of our Lord? In any case, people have not been able to understand those who are made heirs to the world here. People who would understand this Verse would not have opened this Verse in such an absurd way and would not have attributed our Lord and contradicted this Verse.
Verse 180 of Surat Al-Imran: "Those who are stingy with what Allah has given them of His bounty (in charity), do not think that it is good for them. On the contrary, it is evil for them. And what they were stingy with will be around their necks on the Day of Resurrection. To Allah belongs the inheritance of the heavens and the earth. Allah is aware of all that you do."
Surah Hadid Surah 10: "What is the matter with you that you do not spend in the way of Allah, while the inheritance of the heavens and the earth belongs to Allah? Surely those of you who spent and fought before the conquest are not equal to those who spent and fought afterwards. Their rank is higher than those who spent and fought afterwards. But Allah has promised them all the best. Allah is aware of what you do."
So, does not this verse of making one heir to the world contradict these verses of our Lord? Understanding the verses of the Qur'an and writing the Qur'anic text cannot be done by knowing and memorizing Arabic. Here Allah (swt) says the equivalent of the following verse: "Those who buy Paradise with their lives and their wealth." It is the equivalent of the verse.
Heir is one thing, inheritance is another. An heir is a person who is temporarily given a task in place of another person. For example, people are the caliphs of the earth. It is our Lord giving people the right to dispose of the earth in His stead. Inheritance is not like that. Inheritance is what is bestowed on the person himself. The heir mentioned here is the one who buys paradise in return for what he has done in this world. Our Lord proves this at the end of the verse. Conclusion: "Those who fear Allah and avoid sin." Those who obey our Lord and do good deeds will be heirs to what will be given to them in the Hereafter, like those who bought Paradise with their lives and wealth.
What is said in the video
It's continuing, yes.
Verse 128: Moses said to his people: Seek help from Allah and be patient. Correct. Surely the earth belongs to Allah. And there is no other creator, so of course it is Allah's. He makes whomever He wishes of His servants its heirs. This part is wrong. Those who wish. The outcome belongs to those who fear Allah and guard against sin, it says. Now look how the words contradict each other here. Surely the earth belongs to Allah. Correct. He makes whomever He wishes of His servants its heirs. Whomever He wishes: make me an heir too. For example, you see, the outcome now contradicts this. It belongs to those who fear Allah and guard against sin, it says.
To those who fear Allah and guard against sin. Now here this turns to the personal. By what the person has done, you see, he is made an heir on earth.
The earth: Allah makes whomever He wishes of His servants its heirs. Allah's wishing. Now in the second verse this wishing disappears. The outcome belongs to those who fear Allah and guard against sin, it says. Yes. Whereas here, Moses said to his people: Seek help from Allah. Correct. And be patient. Surely the earth belongs to Allah. He makes His servants who wish it its heirs. Pardon? His servants who wish it. Yes. He makes His servants who wish it its heirs. The outcome belongs to those who fear Allah and guard against sin.
