At-Tawbah 17: While they bear witness against their own disbelief, those who associate partners with Allah will not be the ones to build Allah’s masjids (mosques). All their deeds have gone in vain. They will remain in fire eternally.

Explanation
The misinterpretation
Those who associate partners with Allah do not have the authority to build the mosques of Allah, while they themselves bear witness to their infidelity. All their work has been in vain. And they will abide eternally in the fire.
The right translation
While they bear witness against their own disbelief, those who associate partners with Allah will not be the ones to build Allah’s masjids (mosques). All their deeds have gone in vain. They will remain in fire eternally.
Explanation
This is where the mistake is made: They have no right to build the mosques of Allah. The truth is: Nor are they the builders of the mosques of Allah.
La gaybi illallah Allah knows the unseen. People live their destiny within their lifetime. Since we do not know how we will live in our destiny in the future, it is wrong to open the verse according to the people living at that moment. If there are people among them who convert to Islam, then there will be a deficiency in the word of our Lord, hasha! Our Lord will be qualified.
Our Lord did not create human beings free from mistakes. When people make mistakes and repent to our Lord, our Lord keeps the doors of repentance open and accepts their repentance until the end of their lives.
Here again, people who continue to disbelieve will not be able to build the mosques of Allah. Otherwise, when they return to Islam, they will also do good deeds and build mosques.
What is said in the video
the meanings. Verse 17 has also been translated wrongly. Those who associate partners with Allah, I'm reading the wrong one, to their own unbelief while bearing witness themselves, to maintain Allah's mosques they have no authority. All their deeds have come to nothing, and they will remain in the fire forever. Where is something missing here? Come on, find it. They will remain forever, Hodja. What does it say? The words 'will remain forever' are wrong. True, they will remain in the fire forever, but who will remain?
(?) there is a word. Look, I'll read it once more. Those who associate partners with Allah, while they themselves bear witness to their own unbelief, have no authority to maintain Allah's mosques.
All their deeds have come to nothing. And they will remain in the fire forever.
To their own unbelief, after they themselves have borne witness — that sentence. Come, come, come closer, let these hear it too, explain. To their own unbelief, after they themselves have borne witness — that sentence there (?) not, I — you won't find it. Pay attention, I'm reading the word there. Now I'll read the right one from the wrong one.
They have no authority to maintain Allah's mosques, it says. Now I'm reading the correct one. Nor will they maintain Allah's mosques. Would an unbeliever come and maintain your mosque? After bearing witness himself to his unbelief, while showing hostility to your Islam, would he maintain your mosque? Well, (?) what they turn it into! What does it say here? They have no authority to maintain Allah's mosques, it says; this time, even if they were to turn back, it gives them no authority. But what do we say here? Nor will they maintain Allah's mosques. all the actual deeds are with us; ourselves take ourselves as witness. In that case we cannot ascribe this to Allah Almighty.
Allah Almighty brought us into the world; over us He has no hold (?) at all. Look, He has no hold (?) over us at all. He has it in only one place. When we are about to step outside our destiny, He puts us back inside our destiny. Which verse is this? They lay a plot. And We lay a plot. The plot We lay, He says, is a good plot, He says. That is, He puts you inside destiny. In no other way does He interfere with either your course or your actual deeds. Why? Well, you made a covenant with Allah Almighty at the address 'Am I not your Lord?'. You had your desire and wish, your aim, written as your own destiny.
In this world, within this desire and wish of yours, what you desired Allah Almighty will create for you. And you, by doing these created actual deeds, will prove what kind of person you are. If Allah Almighty had held sway (?) over you, had had power over you, he would say: if only You had given me this power too, he would say: if only You had given me this power too. The unbeliever said (?): if only You had given it to me too; I too was Your servant; I too, as an unbeliever, would have turned (?), he says. Would he say it? He would. We finished the matter at the address 'Am I not your Lord?'.
That is what Surah Ta-Ha says too. Had We wished, He says, We would have destroyed them with a punishment before the Quran, He says. That is: you gave a good pledge, you go to paradise; you gave a bad pledge, you go to hell. But, He says: had you not been going to say, 'if only You had sent us prophets and books, so that into this vile disgrace (?) we would not have fallen', He says, he would not have been created in this world. So it means that now, since there He did not rule over us — He brought us and placed us in this world — we ourselves, through the actual deeds we will do, become answerable to Allah Almighty.
Otherwise He has no hold (?) over us. Even the Diyanet doesn't know this. The Diyanet. What does it write (?)? Will is two, it says, two. Correct. Will is two. Universal will, partial will.
When one of the wills is lifted from him, it says, that does not amount to denying it, it says. Allah will lift my will from me, He Himself will make me do what He wants, then hold me responsible, and I will have sinned for a deed I did not do of my own will? Is this all your knowledge amounts to?
Yes.
Everyone will be called to account for the actual deeds they do by their own will. No one will be able to call Allah Almighty to account. That is Allah's attribute of being Allah. Yes. Here we read the correct one once more now. Those who associate partners with Allah, while bearing witness themselves to their own unbelief, will not maintain Allah's mosques either. Nor will they maintain Allah's mosques. All their deeds have come to nothing, and in the fire they will remain forever. And all their deeds have come to nothing. What verse does this correspond to?
Yes. We will not set up a scale for them, He says.
Yes. Yes.
