Explanation
The misinterpretation
Then, after that, Allah accepts the repentance of whomever He wills. For Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
The right translation
After this, Allah again accepts the repentance of those who ask for (from Allah). Allah is Ghafoor (Forgiving) and Raheem (the One Who very generously accepts repentance).
Explanation
The verse that has been misquoted here is: Allah accepts the repentance of whomever He wills after that: Correct: Allah will then accept the repentance of whoever wishes.
Many misunderstood verses always mention the will of our Lord. However, our Lord's will does not exist over people. We have explained in the previous Verses that there is no will of our Lord over people. But since some people have not read the Holy Qur'an from the beginning, we recommend them to read the footnote of the 172nd verse of Surah A'râf, because they do not know that in the verses we have mentioned, our Lord's will is not over people.
What is said in the video
There are (?) faults; we'll correct them later.
In verse 27, wrong. Then after that, Allah again accepts the repentance of whom He wills. Here it's wrong. He accepts the repentance of whom He wills. For Allah is forgiving and merciful, it says. Now, where is the mistake here? Look, what does it say? What (?) words there are here. Then after that, Allah again accepts the repentance of whom He wills. Look, "whom He wills": you will come, you will repent, and He won't accept yours. You will come, and He will accept yours. Now, He accepts whom He wills. For Allah is forgiving and merciful. Why didn't You forgive? He came and asked too. Why didn't You forgive? Why didn't You show mercy?
Words so contrary to each other is how they translate it. Yes. This time, and these – the Diyanet's book, Elmalılı's book, Fikri Yavuz's book, so-and-so's book – they are all the same. All the same. We are correcting these. We are correcting these verses. Our brother says how they are all the same as each other. They all make the same mistakes, he says. What does he say? All those translations make the same mistakes, he says. The same mistake. The same in all of them. Do you know what one of them says? Ahmet Efendi came here. One says: came here, Ahmet. The other says: from such-and-such place, Ahmet Efendi came here.
The meaning of all of them is the same. Ahmet came here. But that one says it differently, differently, differently. But the meaning is the same. No one changes the meaning. No one finds its origin. Because its origin, its truth, is Surah Al-A'raf, verse 172.
'And when your Lord took from the children of Adam, from their loins, their descendants and made them testify about themselves: Am I not Rabbiküm. We made a covenant with those who would emerge from the offspring of the children of Adam. What does it say? He brought forth the offspring from the loins of the children of Adam and made a covenant with them. All the same. All the same.
We made them witnesses over themselves. And We said: We are your Lord. What does it say there? Are We not your Lord? Look at the mistakes in the words. In the words here. Are We not your Lord? When He said that, He will create you millimetre by millimetre. You will be a witness that you were created. When you deny the one before you: well, did I not create you? He will say. You will say this. You will deny. It's not like that. Suddenly there is a creation. He hasn't seen it, of course. In the verses that's how his mind grasps it, that's how he translates it. Suddenly you have a coming into being.
And Allah Almighty says: I created you. Come on, you look and see He is like a human. Now if you said to me: I created you. Would I easily believe you? But there is no other creator either; none turns up. Let's say the one before you, the one beside you, also says yes. This is our Lord. When he says: this one created us – well, we have no past. Well, we were created. We have reason.
In this case, it is not possible to deny Allah. Why? Because you have come into being out of nothing. Even Darwin, who denies Allah, knows that Allah exists. Out of his rage, out of his grudge against Him, he tries to set out to prove that Allah doesn't exist. So in this case all souls, our souls, all people in the realm of lahut – they all know they were created. There, too, they translate the verse wrongly. He said yes, they say. Yes. He said yes. Who said it? The unbelievers didn't say yes. So who said yes? Allah Almighty said yes.
Why did He say yes? In place of people, why did Allah Almighty say yes in place of those who deny? Because Allah Almighty knows that they will lie. They are lying unbelievers, He says. Lying unbelievers. They know that they were created. But because they saw Me as like themselves and didn't believe in Me, they denied Me. But since they knew they were created, and no other god because none came forth, they followed their own selves. And they turned their backs on Me. Those are the lying unbelievers, He says. Because in their own being, in their own conscience, they know they were created, Allah Almighty uses the meaning "yes" there.
And people understand this as follows: He said yes there, but here he went astray. Do you know what comes out of that then? When Allah Almighty wrote their destinies, He couldn't give them good characters. Faulty. And if man said yes there and then said "mistake" here, faulty here, said yes there, got lost here and did whatever, denied, then it means Allah Almighty couldn't program people well. And that would expose a deficiency in Allah. May Allah protect us. Yes.
Time is up, isn't it. Let's do this one too, and (?). This is short anyway. Then after that, Allah again accepts the repentance of whom He wills. We read this, didn't we. For Allah is forgiving and merciful, it says. There are words here anyway, words that contradict each other. We explained that. Allah does not discriminate among His servants. Allah created people deficient and fallible. When people repent in their helplessness, it is impossible for Allah Almighty not to accept their repentance. I say it again: it is impossible for Allah Almighty not to accept repentance. Why? Because, one: apart from Allah there is no door to go to. Two: since Allah created all servants, His servants, Allah does not cast out the one who clings to Him crying "Allah". That's two. At one point Allah does not accept repentance.
'When it reaches the throat.' When the soul comes up to the throat, He says. 'And you are then looking on.' Come on, turn it back then, He says. 'And We are nearer to him than you, but you do not see.' The relatives have gathered, it says, waiting for his soul to depart. Are you nearer to him with your strength, or are We nearer, it says. So according to one report, up to here, (?), according to another up to this "rooster bone", if he repents, He accepts his repentance. Why doesn't He accept it after that? The worlds are shown to him. Once they have been shown, the matter is closed. It's over.
So until the soul reaches the throat, Allah Almighty accepts repentance. There is no repentance that is not accepted. What beautiful verses (?).
