The misinterpretation

(O Muhammad!) Do not let their wealth and children envy you. Because with these, Allah only wants to increase their torment in the life of this world and for them to die as disbelievers.

The right translation

(Oh, Muhammad!) Do not let their wealth and children impress you, for these only increase their suffering in this worldly life. They will die as disbelievers because of what their souls (nafs) have committed.

Explanation

This is where this verse goes wrong: Allah only wants to increase their torment in the life of this world and that they should die as disbelievers. The truth is: For by this they only increase their torment in the life of this world, and they will go away disbelieving in the deeds of their souls.

As long as people are ignorant of the covenant of our Lord, the translators who open the Holy Quran cannot avoid making these mistakes. Our souls have made a covenant with our Lord in the address Elestu bi Rabbikum. The desires and wishes of every human being are written as destiny for him/her. After that, our Lord has programmed these worlds. These programs will never change again. In this case, since every human being has come to this world to prove what kind of a person he is, our Lord has no more influence over people. Allah (swt) sends Prophets and books to people out of His mercy. He wants to bring people out of darkness into the light. In this case, if He spreads His mercy upon the people, how is it possible that the meaning of the verse is not like that, as it is wrongly explained in some verses, whereas the meaning of the verse is not like that. The correct opening of the verse is as follows. For by this they only increase their torment in the life of this world, and they go away disbelieving in the deeds of their souls. If every person will be held accountable for what he or she has done, then here people will be held accountable for what they have done through their actual actions.

What is said in the video

Let's continue.

Verse 55. I'm reading its wrong translation. O Muhammad! Let not their wealth and their children impress you. For Allah only wants, with these, to multiply their torments in the life of this world and for their souls to depart while they are unbelievers, it says. How they ascribe an attribute to Allah Almighty! Even a child wouldn't translate it like this. A person who loves Allah wouldn't do this, wouldn't say it. That is: O Muhammad! Let not their wealth and their children impress you, for with these, in the life of this world, they only multiply their own torments. Their own – whose? People apart from Allah. Their conduct, their actions – and by what their nafs committed, they depart as unbelievers. Here what does it say? For Allah only wants, with these, to multiply their torments in the life of this world and for their souls to depart while they are unbelievers, it says.

Now in one verse it says this. What resembles the wrong one, what resembles the wrong one, I'm telling now. Allah will multiply their sins, it says. In the verse it says He will multiply. Now, "He will multiply their sins" is one thing; adding up their sins – however many sins one has committed, giving exactly that much recompense for one's sins is another. Look, there's no multiplying. Their sins, it says, We will add up. We will add up their sins. Yet what does it say here too? So in the other verse, in the (?) of the wrong one: We will multiply their sins. Yet in His verse Allah Almighty says: for an evil deed – one evil for an evil deed.

And for a good deed He gives from one to three, five, seven, seventy, a hundred, up to seven hundred. Up to seven hundred. How does He give up to seven hundred? In one ear, it says. A hundred grains. Sir, seven ears, it says. Seven hundred grains. He increases the reward. Seven ears, it says. The reward of seven ears with a hundred grains in each ear, seven ears, it says; that's how He increases the reward, it says. Seven hundred rewards. (?) They have

they translated it wrongly: O Muhammad, let not their wealth and their children impress you, for with these, in the life of this world, they only multiply their own torments. That is, multiplying: that is, he did it, did it again – it multiplied, did it again – it multiplied; the multiplying of torments, and they depart as unbelievers by what their nafs committed. Yes, look

here: 'in the life of this world, and that their souls depart' ve hum kâfirûn. Enfusuhum: the self departing as an unbeliever. Allah Almighty – by the sins they committed with their nafs they depart as unbelievers. Here there's nothing at all about the nafs or anything. For Allah only wants, with these, to multiply their torments in the life of this world and for their souls to depart while they are unbelievers, it says. There is no such verse here. How do they translate these like this?

It's astonishing.

Yes.

The verse says it openly, plainly. That is, just as we've written it plainly, it says it word for word like this. Look: innemâ yurîdullâhu li yuazzibehum, li yuazzibehum – in the world, in return for the torments they earned, bihâ fi'l- 'of this world', the punishments for what they did in the world, 'and that their souls depart while they' kâfirûn: by the sins they committed they depart as unbelievers, it says. Yes.

The verse is letter for letter as it stands – how did they translate and write this part? May Allah set them right. And we have (?) these. (?)
